WOW! This is one HOT EROTICA! Fantastic! Annelie is just a simple human who runs a pub and has secretly fantasized about what it would be like to be with Lukas for the last three years. She never dreamed it would become reality until one evening he comes in and finally has a drink too much and practically almost falls asleep sitting on the bar stool. Worried, Annelie stops her routine of serving drinks and tends to Lukas by offering to drive him home after she closes. A kiss in the parking lot ge WOW! This is one HOT EROTICA! Fantastic! A kiss in the parking lot gets things heated up and when they finally get to his apartment, not even a cold shower can cool you down from this erotic scene. These angels have lots of stamina to full fill your minds sexual hunger. Lukas is considered a fallen angel in our human eyes but not by his choosing. Lukas has been framed/set up for a crime he did not commit and some of his powers have been taken away from him and strict rules have been set upon him like no flying. He still has his wings but it is torment to him because he is not allowed to fly. This is a must read story. The adventure Lukas and Annelie go on to prove his innocence and gain back his status is absolutely powerful and exciting. I applaud Felicity E. Heaton for her brilliance of creating this world where Angels and humans can fall in love and because of that love can get through any trial. I look forward to reading the next book "Her Warrior Angel" due out November 2010. I am sharing my personal photos of how I see these Angels: [image error] [image error]

Loved it! This book has so many interesting facets (aside from the obvious one of an angel walking around among humans): an angel exiled from Heaven, a mortal woman falling in love with him, a quest that takes him into Hell...what's not to love about this?! Lukas was so wonderful to read because of his vulnerability. Here's an immortal creature who knows God personally, and yet he seeks comfort and reassurance from the pretty human bartender he's been visiting regularly for the past three years. He's willing to brave the creatures of Hell and face a fate worse than death, but he still has that one soft spot for Annelie. I LOVED it!!! And I am on pins and needles waiting for the more books in this series!!! (I was given this book in consideration of my honest thoughts)

Well, I got what I was expecting. A pretty short read with some minor development to the previous story. I don't know that I liked that Annelie and Lukas had known each other for three years already so there wasn't any detail of what happened when they first met. The book progresses very quickly. It's funny to think that for three years Lukas "suffered" and the end came in one day. And that's my gripe. I get that Lukas had to wait three years to appeal but surely he could've gone to Apollyon bef Well, I got what I was expecting. A pretty short read with some minor development to the previous story. Never in her wildest dreams did Annelie think that her feelings could be returned by this gorgeous man but when he comes to the bar and is obviously upset she wants to comfort him and make him smile again. She offers to drive him home as he has been drinking and her life will never be the same again. Now I loved Apollyon in Her Dark Angel and didn't think Felicity Heaton would be able to top him but I'm sorry Apollyon, Lukas has totally stolen my heart! I'm not sure how she can top Her Fallen Angel but I can't wait to read Her Warrior Angel to see if she manages it. Things between Annelie and Lukas may heat up quickly but it doesn't feel at all rushed, you can tell they both have feelings for each other and oh boy can Felicity write a hot, frantic love scene (I'm surprised it didn't melt my ereader!) You could feel the urgency between the characters and it made for intense reading - I was definitely left in need of a cold shower. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Lukas and Annelie and was completely unable to put the book down. The mystery of who had set Lukas up was interesting and I loved the fact that we got to see Apollyon and Serenity again as Apollyon agrees to help Lukas discover who is behind the plot. Poor Annelie is in for a shock when she discovers that Lukas is an angel and understandably this makes her unsure if she should pursue a relationship with him. I felt her feelings were realistic but was glad Serenity was able to help her work through her issues. If I had any complaint about this series it would be that I'd love to see all of these characters star in a full length story - I don't think I could get too much of them, especially Lukas! - but I'd still highly recommend these novellas. Although the stories don't have to be read in order I would recommend reading Her Dark Angel first as I really enjoyed both stories. I'd definitely recommend Her Fallen Angel to anyone who loves a good paranormal romance or erotic read. These stories are great for when you're looking for a quick read but be warned you will want to read them in one sitting so make sure you have enough time to do that. I can't wait to see what Felicity Heaton comes up with next.

Fallen Angel is the second book in the Her Angel: Bound Warriors series by Felicity Heaton. It is a revised, extended and re-edited version of Her Fallen Angel. I have read both books and appreciate the changes made despite loving the first book just as it was. Lukas is a fallen angel, he's been accused of a heinous crime that he didn't do but can't prove that he didn't. He's been waiting for 3 years to appeal to his 'boss' and in that time he's spent a lot of it hanging out at a bar where he has fallen for the barmaid. He's kept himself just friends with her though until getting drunk one night and finally giving in to the urge to kiss her. Annelie is the barmaid and she has lusted after Lukas for all the years that he has been coming to the bar. She doesn't know that he's an angel, in fact, she knows little about him despite all the hours they have spent talking. He has never drunk alcohol at the bar before and when he does he soon ends up drunk on very little. When Annelie shuts up shop it isn't long before she finds herself looking after a drunken Lukas, which in turns find her in his arms enjoying the kisses that she has longed for. From there the story really takes off with all sorts of things happening not least Annelie finding out that Lukas is an angel! He tells her about the accusation against him, and about how he lost his appeal which is why he was drinking at the bar in the first place. She convinces him that he must fight to prove his innocence and with her faith in him, he is inspired to do just that. Will he be able to prove it, and if he does, what future can he have with Annelie when it could mean him having to give up his immortality. This was an amazing story that kept me gripped from beginning to end, and I couldn't read it quickly enough to find out if Lukus could clear his name. Add to that there were extremely passionate scenes between him and Annelie, absolutely not for those under 18. They were romantic and sensual at the same time as being extremely steamy. Who knew an angel could be so 'hot'. There was definitely never a dull moment in this book and I loved every minute of it. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Again, lots of potential but falls flat I can't quite figure out why Heaton's other series is so addictingly wonderful yet this series is so lackluster. Is this series just a filler series while she writes the other books? The writing is great but the plots are barely there, and the "finale" just happens with little development. If you are just looking for a story about hooking up then these books are for you. If you want to have an actual storyline, then read her other series. This was another great love story between an angel named Lukas that has fallen because he is wrongfully accused of a crime he didn't commit and the mortal whom he loves named Annelie. Apollyon and Serenity from the previous book are in this as well as they try to clear Lukas of his innocence and help Annelie accept and realize that Lukas might be different but he loves her. Again, just like the first book it is hot and sexy with plenty of spice to go around and around. Plot: Annelie works at a bar every day and for the past three weeks the man she fell in love with, Lucas has been missing. When he finally comes into the bar looking dejected and asking for alcohol for the first time in three years Annelie is a bit surprised. Watching him put back glass after glass gives her great concern for Lucas and when she finally starts talking to him the connection she’s felt with him for the past three years becomes even stronger and for the first time it seems Lucas returns her feelings. Offering Lucas a ride home they end up at him apartment admitting their feelings towards each other and having “the sex” for the first time. Waking up with a terrible headache and Annnelie stroking his scars Lucas can’t help what happens next, his wings came shooting out of his back and now he has to explain his situation to Annelie before she can race out the door: Lucas is now a fallen angel that has been cast out of heaven for a crime he didn’t commit but has no idea how to fix. Waiting three years for his recent hearing the court condemned him that he shall never fly again and will remain on earth for eternity. Seeeking Annelie’s help they travel to Paris to visit Apollyon for help and to show Annelie how angels and humans can be together without it being a sin they forge a plan that Lucas will descend into Hell with Apollyon to see the pool where they will find the truth. However, when Lucas finds out the truth about the fateful events all those years ago his realization may have just placed Serenity and Annelie in terrible danger. Racing to protect the women they love Lucas is unsure if he has the strength to fight off this age old enemy, and even if he does will Lucas and Annelie be able to overcome the challenges ahead if Lucas can get back his wings. Characters: Lucas is a sweet, caring, and determined man who wants both his wings back and to keep Annelie forever. He’s always honest and believes his strength will come from her love. Annelie is a wonderful character. She puts herself in harm’s way and is extremely intelligent. While one scene she did overact she makes up for it. She loves Lucas and is willing to sacrifice everything to be with him. She also always puts his needs before hers so he can be happy. POV: Just as in the last book the point of view switches between the two main characters Lucas and Annelie. I’m a big fan of dual pov’s so that’s another reason I found these books so interesting. Overall Reaction: I enjoyed Her Fallen Angel more than I did Her Dark Angel. I felt the characters were more believable and I also liked how readers got to see how the previous characters were doing. There’s a lot more action and angst in this book too which was awesome. Recommend: I would recommend these books who like a series that doesn’t feel like a series. There’s lot of love and “the sexy time” which turns the passion level up a bit. The writing is well done and the story is short, what more could you ask for?

Her Fallen Angel picks up a year after Her Dark Angel in London. Lukas has fallen, in more ways than one. He has been punished for a crime against humanity that he did not commit. During the three years since his punishment began he has been frequenting a bar. He has no interest in what the bar is serving. All of his interests lie with the server. Annelie knows something is wrong. It pains her to see Lukas clearly hurting. Lukas wants prove his innocence. Lukas wants to be with Annelie, forever. He wants to figure out how to have both of these. He knows that to prove his innocence he is going to need the help of Apollyon. Apollyon has access to a pool in Hell that when touched it will show what ones heart desires. I loved Lukas. He has had his life as an angel taken away from him. It’s all he has ever known and now he wants it back. He is at the point where he is almost lost. He goes to amazing lengths to prove his innocence. I think the fact that the main characters are both already in love with each other at the very beginning of this novella is one of the aspects that makes the romance in it work so well. The instant “I love you’s” are sometimes so hard to believe. Presenting the characters of this book in love and still apart from the very beginning worked very well for me the reader. They love each other and they know this. The romance comes into the mix with when and how to share these feelings for one another with each other. Can they have a relationship with him being an immortal angel and she being a very mortal bar maid? I loved the romance of Her Fallen Angel! Heaton has written these two characters feelings for one another so passionately. And of course there are some scorching hot erotic sex scenes. I also want to point out that I LOVE the fact that Lukas wears boxers. It seems every book I read there is a man running round without his drawers. In those fighting action books that just seems like it would have to chafe. OH he’s commando. Yeah, it’s sexy for a romance book I know this. Books are fantasies and not what is going on in real life.

2.5 stars Oh whoops I thought this was the first in the series, but I guess book 1 was about Apollyon and Serenity. (Normally, I would congratulate on author on finding a way to not having to write dialogue that makes them fall in love, because when I wrote my own novel, that was a hard thing to deal with.) What I don't get is why it took them three years to finally act on their feelings (that's an awfully long time, and it's not like they were underage or it was previously forbidden) & why Lukas didn't get help from his friend Apollyon beforehand. He waited 3 years; he could have cleared his name in less than a year (one day actually lol) had he gone to his friend right away!!! It seemed like he was afraid, and only went once he gained support and courage from Annelie (reminds me of my name). I see how the author left the question why the angel switched to the dark side for the next book, so you would be curious enough to read the next book. I think I might pass because this book wasn't amazing and I don't care so much/know Einar very well. Tbh, I'd be more interested in Serenity & Apollyon. I wouldn't have started to read this book had it not only been 100 pages lol. I found it as a result of clicking on another reviewer's favorite books. This reviewer didn't like a book I really liked (I think that was the case, or it was I really liked their review/found it humorous), so I was wondering well, what books do they like. Serenity and Apolloyon's place in Paris reminded me of the homestay I did in Salamanca, Spain.

I completely love that Apollyon and Serenity (from Her Dark Angel) put in an appearance in this book. That always makes books feel so wonderfully big to me. Although they'd both like to. Annelie, as a mortal with no otherworldly powers, isn't privy to the world of angels and demons. She really doesn't know what she's getting herself into when she acts on her feelings for Lukas. Lukas is struggling to deal with being earthbound, but he's determined to abide by the terms of his punishment. However, he knows that his feelings for Annelie are worth fighting for. Rating 2.5. It seemed to take me forever to finish this book. I actually loved the first book in this series but could not seem to connect with the characters in this book. I only recommend the book because you get an insight into the development of Serenity and Apollyon's relationship and the introduction to the new angel. I've started Her Angel Warrior and this looks to be more exciting already.

The next in a series of books, book two is the story of Lukas and Annelie and the friendship that develops into love. Lukas is a fallen angel, accused of a crime he didn't commit but cant prove it. He spends time in a bar whilst waiting for his heavenly summons where he becomes friends with the barmaid, Annelie. A friendship where he longs to kiss her, and she lusts after him in secret. It all changes the night he gets drunk and she takes him home. I loved the chapters of their growing love for The next in a series of books, book two is the story of Lukas and Annelie and the friendship that develops into love. I loved the chapters of their growing love for each other, the danger they are both in, the fight scenes, and the make up. This is a book for adults only due to the sexual content. I loved the book and couldn't put it down until I had read every word

It had a strong start just like the previous couple's novel. Performance Rating - 4 stars! Eric G. Dove has very polished voice. I'm convinced I've heard him doing voiceovers on television before. His vocal acting is on point, and I like that he attempts different language accents so easily. Overall Rating - 3.5 stars! So far, this series is equivalent to a good Harlequin contemporary novel only it's a paranormal romance. I really liked the friendship between the male angels and how the ladies got to bond over being introduced to the world of angels. There was a good suspense plot as well. Coming Up Next: Warrior Angel

I felt really bad for Lukas. He tried so hard to be honourable and true but the hurt of his punishment was intense. Annelie seeing him at his lowest point was telling for her character. Instead of treating him any different, she took the time to listen and help. Her belief in him made him stronger in his continuing to fight for justice. Loved the way Apollyon and Serenity were integral in figuring out the mystery of Lukas's tormentor. I felt really bad for Lukas. The fallen angel is not allowed to fly. He has been on Earth as a mortal for 3 years and he has just come back from an attempt to prove he was falsely accused of the crime he is being punished for. He has been accused of blowing up a building with 100 humans in it killing all of them. Fun read and plot developing. Characters from book #1 come back in this one.

I couldn’t give the first book 5 stars, because it had no mystery. This book has the mystery the first book did not.

Love the series of books. Can't put down. Wish they were longer. You just get into the story and it's finished . Im Reading them all back to back so it feels like one big book. Didn’t feel this one at all, and the writing style felt a bit off.

Good, but not so much story as in the later books. It’s introduced the next character to appear in the next instalment, and is processing the story ark.
