I picked up the 2008 edition of this book, and was surprised to read the following statement in the preface: "The book that you are about to read was completed in June, 1989 and was based upon the research that I have done for 27 years. All the signs that I was reading about indicated that THE NEW WORLD ORDER was scheduled to start on January 1, 2000. This obviously did not happen on that date. However, that does not mean that my research was incorrect. It means that another date has been selected and that this date has truly been kept secret from honest researchers such as myself. Let me impress upon you: these people are committed to achieving their goal, and THE NEW WORLD ORDER will occur, but at a future date. Let me add that I still believe that this date is very near." If you don't see a problem, google Karl Popper's "falsification criterion." Epperson’s third chapter illustrates the absurdity to which his ilk sinks. He introduces us to the New Age world ruler "Lord Maitreya" who has been living high in the Himalaya Mountains since 1977 preparing to take over the world. In 1990 Epperson suggested that Maitreya's descent from the mountains was imminent. The closing line of the chapter reads, “So the world awaits the visible appearance of Lord Maitreya.” Eighteen years later, the sixteenth printing of the book repeats the same claims. One wonders how old the Himalayan boogey man is getting these days, and whether Epperson might realize his research has been falsified.

I honestly was neutral in terms of liking this "book". It had no characteristics of a book. It had no plot, no story line, no action of any sort, no descriptive words, or much of anything other than listed facts. This book reads like a published shopping list. Was very plain and boring. I regret taking the time to read this "book". If it were an actual book containing what is listed above, then maybe I would have rated it higher. As it is, it is a three star "book". The facts listed were really interesting, and they even made me do some background research to learn more about the facts listed throughout the book. What I did read, was very intriguing. Honestly, I learned from this published list. Even though it was not a very well structured book, the information was still a joy to read, and I will probably save this book and add it to my virtual bookshelf. Overall, this book was a poorly laid out, yet amazing and very intriguing book. I do recommend that anybody interested in conspiracy theories reads it, but they should be older than 13 because children don't usually understand much about the history and politics behind America.

I'm a truther & this felt too crazy even for me. Christianity is not the saviour of humanity - it has been used as a tool of the oppressors for 2000 years to control the population. A big issue for me was the omission of the two biggest puppeteers & instigators of this current system Rockefeller & Rothschild. How can you write a book called the New World Order & only mention Rockefeller in one sentence & totally omitt Rothschild & the federal reserve in passing? Controlled opposition. Ever notice how people spewing bullshit like to WRITE IN ALL CAPITALS AS IF THIS PROVES THAT WHAT THEY ARE SAYING IS ACTUALLY OF ANY SUBSTANCE AT ALL? This was a pretty interesting read, possible because the author has such a strong personality - which, ironically, he tells us in a preface will not influence his analysis of the facts. He actually states that he is just relaying evidence that he has found to us, and will not have a bias in the matter. I wish I had the book with me to quote. My favourite part of the book is his attack of the secularism of public schools. He blames Dewey for this, and attempts an attack of Dewey's character (which doesn't seem relevant to me). Dewey said he denies the existence of eternal truths, like the ones religion spews. Epperson hates this, and in capital letters, calls Dewey insane for denying eternal truths - because, you know, eternal truths are eternal, so how can they not be true? - Epperson engaging in some desperate tautological horseshit. I think this is a fairly good overview of the topics central to modern conspiracy theories, and it was a fun read due to Epperson's hilarious interjections.

Everyone is talking about The New World Order today because of the politicization of the coronavirus and repeat threats from various public figures that we will never be going back to normal. I'd first discovered the NWO "conspiracy theory" in my early twenties, stumbling across a forum online dedicated to the subject. My first impressions of the anti-NWO crowd back then was that they weren't very intelligent people and to make matters worse, they all appeared to me to be racist and homophobic. My first impressions of the anti-NWO crowd back then was that they weren't very intelligent people and to make matters worse, they all appeared to me to be racist and homophobic. Despite vaguely knowing of NWO, I couldn't be completely sure what it actually is people think is happening on a global scale and what exactly it is Piers Corbyn has protesting against every Saturday at Trafalgar Square in London. I now see Epperson was anticipating something of a global Communist and "Satanic" takeover. I will likely get an even greater picture of what's happening by reading the books about The Great Reset and Fourth Industrial Revolution by Klaus Schwab. Eppersons book largely focuses on the role of the Secret Society, The Freemasons, with much attention on the religious or spiritual aspect of NEO. Schwab, as the CEO of the World Economic Forum is a big player in current events.

Very insightful material on how the future (our current present) looks. This book was written in 1989 but has been prophetic with a lot of its conclusions and thoughts. I would recommend and suggest this book to anyone who is 'cynical' about the events that are currently taking place because they would now realize that they have been correct in there assumptions. I only started reading this book because it was recommended by a friend. Wasn’t interesting to me at all. Plus I am not into anything related to conspiracies or whatever some people believe in. What Annoyed me the most was that the writer would sometimes write in capitals as if that is what actually makes what he is saying 100% true.

The book also gives an examination of the American society and the political chsnges that are enforced on the population and private organizations such as the Catholic church teachings and puts in view the critical social changes in the family structure that are implicitly tucked into the social sphere as a whole. For instance the broadening of the definition of the family and the elasticity if the modern definition of that term that will eventually bring about its downturn and perhaps dismantling. However jeep in mind that the book is strictly subjective (my poijt of view ofc) as the author clearly points out the dsngers on religion for instance in general but mostly gives example of the catholic church and provided very few exits from the threats he ekphasized in his writing of this book. Nevertheless, it privides a paralell view of the mainstream culture and a different interpretation of world issues as whole and the family, education, policitcal and economical spheres in relation to freedom, that of choice and approches ij preparation for what he refers to as '' the new world''.

The author has done a great deal pf research into the masonic cult and this book sure reflects that. However, the tone is very matter-of-factly and that makes it a tough read. Read it with a critical mind and it helps develop a multidimensional thinking, if not it simply is a conspiracy theorist's best meal. This book opens a whole new perspective of things especially for this category. A new world order is a conspiracy theory of Government taking full world control of all of the human population so it's always a interesting idea to have in mind. Just heard this idiot on The History(?) Channel. What a crackpot! I would NEVER trust his "research". He cited US Constitution, Article 1, section 8, clause 18, stating that the writers of the Constitution had included tyranny into this clause because it says Congress had the power "To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever" while tracking the language in a manuscript copy of the Constitution which clearly showed a comma and the next word "over" which was NOT read by the crackpot Just heard this idiot on The History(?) To cite the entirety: "To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dockyards, and other needful Buildings." So sorry, Ralph, but that's not "the definition of tyranny," that's creating a national capital and governing forts. I am now fully convinced the (?) needs to officially be included in The History Channel logo, and they need to talk to REAL historians and not crackpots and conspiracy idiots.

A very interesting read however I feel the author blends facts with pseudo facts and assumptions in his attempt to expose the secret societies and plans for the future. I’m not saying all of his book is false, but I’m not sayin all of it is true either. I believe it is up to the reader to dig deeper.

The same old tired conspiracy nonsense, written for the barely literate. It even has the old “Whoops the world didn’t come to an end on the date I predicted, but it’s still gonna happen, belieeeeeve me” trope.
