A very nice little book. Keep it on your night stand or coffee table; this one shouldn't gather dust on the shelf. ...and isn't it funny that I finished this one on Valentine's Day? This book is so inspiring. What Mother Teresa started out doing helping the poor, homeless, and the sick was a trying time but as you read her story from her 18 to her 87yrs of life you will see the works of God in all she did and all her Missionaries around the world. She did not want to be looked at as famous, what she wanted was for people to open their hearts, eyes and love the unloved. She did not want to be looked at as famous, what she wanted was for people to open their hearts, eyes and love the unloved. The same people you step over on the streets or in subways she wants you to stop ask if they are ok give them a smile or even something to eat. Show they are loved because they deserve it just as you do....She was so Humble and I love that about her. I'm a Christian and I don't backdown or shy away from or apologize for who I believe in and that's GOD. He is my Father, brother, sister, and my best friend because I do not start a day without him or end a day praising him for all he has allowed me to have and allowed me to enjoy each day and asking for forgiveness of my daily sins even if I don't remember them he always reminds and forgives.... Mother Teresa was one of the Humblest people that I know of who cared so much for all the lowest of the low as they are called by many and made them feel they were the most important of all because she was Gods too, and in that if we just did our part in this world we would not see homelessness run rampant in every state and city.. While your out today or tomorrow or any day give that one person a smile , a Hi, a cup of coffee, food, or just ask them how they are doing that alone might make them feel like someone anyone cares...Recommend to all Gina Clabo

    blissful and bookish

It was a really short read but enough to bring tears to my eyes. This book contains a short anecdote of Mother Teresa's life and deeds, and the rest are quotes. I was so moved by Mother Teresa's life and example. She inspires me to be a better human being - kinder, more capable of loving, and more willing to get out of my comfort zone and serve others. I may not have been among the homeless, the sick, and the dying in Calcutta, but she has surely touched my life. ❤️ It was a really short read but enough to bring tears to my eyes. This is a lovely little book that includes a short (very short!) biography of Mother Theresa as well as quite a few meaningful quotes.

This is a neat book that should be given out for free to everybody on this planet because, honestly, everybody needs to know the message in here. That said, being raised Christian, I already found her words to be deeply rooted in my upbringing; which would probably explain why I found it to be a little bit repetitive.

I love these short biography books, by Desmond Tutu. These books are short and to the point but packed with great info about the profiled person. I love them especially for their quotes of wisdom.
