Short story. 10 pages. Super short. Felt like the beginning of a book more than a short story. Should be more fleshed out. ***

An insta-lust kind kind of story, which has hardly anything to do with werewolves at all. 'Werewolfism' exists here only to bring some kind of explanation to the insta-lust, but otherwise it literally has 0 presence or effect on anything in the story for 98% of it. With the exception for the 'I can prove to you that I'm a werewolf' scene at the very very end, nothing in this book will tell you that there are werewolves involved. Then, the actual story revolves around 'micro cheeps that have all national secrets on them'. Really. And finally, writing. It was very strange. So many weird sentences with syntax that doesn't make any sense. The overall image is that is book is simply terribly weak in every aspect.

This is not a short story. It is an opening for a longer work. The only problem is the rest of the story has not been written so the reader is left with "WTF! Is this just a sample?" Would probably be an okay novella or book. This is not a short story. It is an opening for a longer work. Was thinking about deleting this ebook and going on to another, when I got to the page that said it was just an excerpt. Too many needless words, made boring to read.

Very good short read filled with lots of action, a sassy heroine and a strong alpha hero! To get the full copy go to Allromanceebooks.com.

    The Book Junkie Reads . . .

My first read by DeRicci, which could have turned into something really good. Yet it was another story that was getting started and then ended without another to follow.

I'm glad I picked this up for free. Turns out it's only about 12 pages long - a sample of a larger story. The writing is clunky and repetitious and didn't motivate me to seek out any further. I bought the free ebook but it was only 1 chapter. Is that it to the whole book? I can't seem to find anything that shows there is more to it. It reads like it should be part of something bigger.
