I loved Eddie and he seems to be a vengeful hero until he meets the right woman. You get a glimpse of what the trilogy is and what will happen. Make sure and pay attention because one character controls all these marvelous couples and you will fall in love with Eddie & Jade. As in the other stories this couple will make you cry and rejoice. This story is a five star read. A MUST read.

Olivia Gates floored me by how much emotion, passion and plot she packed into such a short story. This can't be more than 10-15K and oh, my, it had far more than most full length novels. The episodic format (becasue it was an daily online read spread over 20 days) assured that ever short chapter ended on a cliffhanger. And was THAT a rush. This is certainly a study in how to paint a perfect story no matter how little words is allowed. Only a master storyteller like Olivia Gates can achieve something like that.

A very sweet short read, reminded me so much of Annie West's book Blackmailed Bride, Innocent Wife. but the H (Eduardo) here is already in love with h, and does not believe the investigations produced, but directly asked Jade what her real motive was. This is an awesome read! It's quick and hot! Gates gets right to the point but still doesn't leave out one twist or turn, while keeping the pages steamy! Run to read it! Jade works for the Prince Eduardo D'Agostino, he starts courting her and they fall in love with each other, but the secrets Jade's keeping might set them apart. I just loved both main characters, all the angst (view spoiler)[that she didn't fall into bed with him immediately, that he was obviously in pain because of his broken heart (hide spoiler)] Jade works for the Prince Eduardo D'Agostino, he starts courting her and they fall in love with each other, but the secrets Jade's keeping might set them apart. wish it had been longer! it had such an interesting plot! the heroine was indeed guilty of being a spy. she was no innocent misunderstood and this added spice to the story. what i loved above all was dat at no moment, eduardo sought revenge! infact, he cleared all her uncle's debts and proposed marriage when he realised jade was a virgin. he did not think dat she had kept the virginity to barter for a higher price of herself as i had expected. because i have read about hero thinking so much bad wish it had been longer! it had such an interesting plot! the heroine was indeed guilty of being a spy. she was no innocent misunderstood and this added spice to the story. what i loved above all was dat at no moment, eduardo sought revenge! infact, he cleared all her uncle's debts and proposed marriage when he realised jade was a virgin. he did not think dat she had kept the virginity to barter for a higher price of herself as i had expected. because i have read about hero thinking so much bad of heroine in other books, this was a distinct possibility for me but eduardo did not react like dat.

Another great book by Olivia Gates. This is a freebie on the Harlequin website and is an unofficial part of the Castaldini series. Eduardo and Jade go back and forth between "I love him, but I can't believe he'd do this" and "I love her, there's no way this information is true". Truthfully, the plot is a little unbelievable, but Olivia Gates puts such passion into her writing I can easily overlook it. Another great book by Olivia Gates. What a hot beginning to the series. Let's hope the remainder of the books are just as good. I'm not usually into series-I think I've od'd on Nora and Diana-but I am giving this one a try. Prelude to the Castaldini Crown trilogy and you can read it free online at: http://www.harlequin.com/articlepage.... A spy? Jade has her reasons but Eduardo has already condemned her so she strikes a bargain of her own. Olivia Gates knows how to stretch out the sensual tension oh yeah she does. I love her heroes and heroines. But...I had a pause moment '...incoherent, invading her living honey.’. Say what? Invading her living honey!? *cough* well my mind went into some sort of purplish relapse, it was just so weird. Hey don’t get me wrong I love this authors writing, it’s so emotive and passionate just like her characters but seriously that one yanked me right out of the story at the most crucial of moments if you get my drift. Setting that aside, if you want a brief introduction to OGs romantic novels this one is ideal (remember its free, at least at the time of this review), its sweet and its short but don't let that stop you. I do recommend you read it. Explicit sex scene x 1.

I give this book 4 stars because it wasn't like the other typical books. The hero was upset, hurt, and angry with the heroine but he wasn't a jerk about it. He had his suspicious of her when he had proof she was lying to him, but it wasn't blown out of proportion. I loved the fact that jade, the heroine wasn't the typical beta female. she stood up to him, didn't give into her desire for him. What I didn't like, not really didn't like, but was lacking with this book, was that it was too short. I I give this book 4 stars because it wasn't like the other typical books. I wanted to know how the Eduardo treated Jade while he was trying to get back her uncles company. I wanted to see the other relationships between other characters start to develop. As I said above, the only reason I gave this book a 4 stars was because the hero wasn't a jerk and felt entitled to treat Jade what ever way he wanted, and that Jade wasn't a spineless character.

I think it's lightly attached to a series, but can be read by itself. Here, a prince and CEO of a company has been carrying on an affair with an employee and is ready to ask her to marry him. Only before he can, he's brought an intelligence file that reveals she's a spy. They get down to the bottom of it and resolve things - technically she wasn't blackmailed into his bed, as it was her idea...it was more of a I just discovered these little Harlequin online novellas, so this is the first I read. It was nice to see a hero who was able to take a step back and look more objectively at the "betrayal" and come to forgive the heroine because of this. This was a pretty good story - a bit short, but very complete.

One of the best Harlequin books that I ever read, no actually its the best! Short but has a very strong impact! I love both the hero and the heroine, they are both strong and wise! I love it! ahhhmazing!!! I felt like my heart been squeezed several times. You can feel the need and love ahhh. Just when I thought it was the actual story a twist will suddenly be revealed. It was very well written. The response of the characters are actually not what you will expect and I love it.
