This volume is easily one of my favorites in the series. Naruto, having mastered Sage mode, takes on Pain, who singlehandedly brought down the entire village. It brought shivers to my spine and I felt all the awe of all the villagers as they see this old fuck-up surpass everyone including the legendary ero-senin. I know greater shit happens later in the series, but at this point in time, Naruto has become truly awesome, and it affects me as only a true underdog story can. Brilliant.

Yep... just when I thought it was safe to go in the water. BOOM. Lets make sure to kill off the OTHER favorite character. Thanks, I really needed to feel myself die again. It actually took a good friend of mine spoiling what happened to get me reading again after this.

I would recommend this book to anybody who loves anime.everytime i get finish watching naruto it has me s thinking about whats going to happen next.such as when pain killed hinata and naruto almost lost complete control of the nine tails.i grew up watching and reading the book since i first picked up a video game.i also recommend this book because it is interesting and it has lots funny moments.such as when sakura hits naruto when he starts acting stupid. I forgot to mention that their are 9 tailed beast and narutos tailed beast is the ninth one.they use to be all together into a beast called the jubii but the sage of six path separated them into nine entities. team 7 is the squad naruto is in during their training with kakashi naruto, sakura, and sasuke are put into a test of wheather they can work as a team or be disqualified and have to go back to the ninja academy.so now they go on adventures together as team seven.

I must say it is and it will forever be(fingers crossed) my favorite Manga novel read. the way Masashi Kishimoto described the characters is just awesome, you get to see them growing up, becoming responsible... powerful... and it is not just characters, The plot itself is so much bigger... u simply can't get enough of it. and add to that, u get more than just entertainment, you learn... what is responsibility, respect, kindness, friendship... so it is not just a manga it is a way of living... Once upon a time, the spirit of an evil Nine Tailed Fox wreaked havoc on Konohagakure; the Village Hidden in the Leaves, killing hundreds of honorable ninja in the skirmish and leaving many children without homes or parents. The Fourth Hokage (leader of the village) unleashes a forbidden jutsu (magic spell/ninja ability) to seal the spirit of the evil fox into the body of a newborn baby named Naruto at the cost of his own life. He did this in the hopes that the boy could one day learn to master the power of the demonic spirit and use it to protect the village and become a great hero of the people. Unknown to the citizens of the Leaf, the Nine Tailed Fox was being controlled by an even more powerful adversary, a legendary rogue ninja that plans to wage war against the entire world from the shadows. The identity of the mysterious ninja that attacked the Leaf Village using the Nine Tails died with the Fourth Hokage, and he used what remained of his life to gift Naruto with the power of one day being able to stop this evil ninja and a clan of outlawed S-rank criminals called the Akatsuki from committing mass genocide against the many hidden villages and clans of the world. Because of the evil spirit sealed inside him, Naruto grew up hated by the other children of the village because they believe him and the Nine Tails to be one and the same. They believe he’s a ticking time bomb waiting to go off, waiting for the perfect moment to kill them all just like the Nine Tails killed their parents and families. Shunned, dehumanized and treated like dirt, Naruto vows to become the greatest hokage the world has ever seen so that he can receive the love and acknowledgement he never got as a child. On top of the Nine Tails power and the will to never quit, Naruto also possesses the uncanny ability to turn everyone he meets into a potential comrade. He brings out the best in his peers and tries his hardest to make his enemies see the errors of their ways. He disobeys the rules and ignores cultural traditions to try and make changes to the world and break the eternal cycle of war and hatred through his own methods. His determination is infectious to friend and foe alike. He earns himself the respect he deserves by overcoming one impossible obstacle at a time. Naruto encounters many fascinating and terrifying ninja over the course of his journey to become hokage. Among them are Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto’s best friend and rival who is driven by the vengeful lust to murder his elder brother after he wiped out their own clan in cold blood. Sasuke warms up to Naruto, but his hatred and trauma are dangerous forces that threaten to break his moral code as a ninja and destroy his reputation among his peers. Kakashi Hatake is a notorious copycat ninja that survived one of the most brutal and devastating wars in history as well as the Nine Tails attack on the Leaf Village. He becomes Naruto and Sasuke’s mentor and teaches them a great number of valuable lessons about surviving in the dangerous world of rogue ninja, bloodthirsty assassins and clans ruled by corruption. Jiraiya is a perverted yet wise sage who taught the Fourth Hokage everything he knew and he’s regarded as a god among shinobi that’s famous for his heroic actions in the second great ninja war. He takes an interest in Naruto and raises him as a father figure to carry on the legacy of the Fourth Hokage to prepare him for the many dangerous people that want to use his power for their own nefarious purposes. The Akatsuki is one such group of wicked ninja. Among them are Sasuke’s brother Itachi who murdered his clan and possesses many dangerous techniques involving illusions, psychological torture and elemental manipulation. Sasori who controls poisonous puppets with magical threads, Orochimaru who mastered the forbidden arts of reanimation and quasi-immortality, Deidara who fights from afar using detonating clay and many other deadly foes. The entire series chronicles Naruto and his fellow ninja comrades growing through countless trials and tragedies. There are hundreds of unique jutsus, clans, and techniques which lead to some very intense, creative and strategic battles between skilled ninja with diverse abilities that don’t always match up evenly. There are clan based abilities such as the Aburame clan’s ability to control insects, the Yamanaka clan’s ability to jump into other people’s minds and control their bodies and the Inuzuka clan’s ability to bond with wolves that learn to mimic their master’s battle skills. Then there’s ocular genetic abilities such as the sharingan which allows the user to create psychological illusions, copy their enemy’s abilities and manipulate elemental energy. The byakugan allows the user to read their enemies vital points and detect their spiritual energy from faraway. The rinnegan grants control over space and gravity and so on. On top of having countless unique abilities, nearly every character has a tragic backstory that makes them sympathetic and relatable, even the nastiest of the villains have well-explored reasons for following the paths they do and becoming the way they are. One of my favorite aspects of the series is how well it explores the physical, emotional and psychological effects war can have on society and culture as well as the survivors and future generations that are forced to live in them. How it breeds racism and cultural disputes, how it inspires hatred in orphaned children and war veterans robbed of their homes toward foreign nations, as well as how this eventually leads to further death, war, poverty and destruction. Learning to forgive the ones you hate to prevent further conflict and damaging the world for future generations even further is a major theme throughout the story. Being a massive 700 chapter series, it’s not too surprising that there’s some plot holes and consistency issues. A rule might be stated regarding the requirements and usage of a certain jutsu or ability only for that rule to be repeatedly broken 400 chapters later. Sometimes the characters and rules contradict themselves, sometimes the chronology of certain events and historical facts don’t match up perfectly, the lore and general backstory go through several retcons that change the philosophy and power scaling of the characters and the scope of world-building; the final arc especially drags on and breaks a lot of the logic and rules that the story spent the whole series setting up, etc... Naruto’s far from perfect, but I remember it very fondly for being one of the first series that introduced me to things like manga and Japanese entertainment in general. It was one of those childhood classics like Dragon Ball, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin. The series grew up with me and I can’t help but feel grateful to it for introducing me to hundreds of other franchises that I’m still a huge fan of to this day and I continue to find many new ones on the regular. Naruto's journey from a clownish, disrespected outcast into a talented, well-loved and admired hero is a memorable one.

Naruto, Vol. 46, by Masashi Kishimoto, is about a boy named Naruto who is a shinobi. Naruto's internal conflict is dealing with the lost of his sensei. His external conflict is nothing. While reading this book i made a text to self connection. During the book, Naruto tries to save his friends, by tellign them to stay out of the fight, that its just between him and Pein. And sometimes when i get in trouble, i dont want my friends to get hurt, so i tell them to stay out of it. I'd rate this book 5 stars. It has a lot of action, It's filled with action which is good. But sometimes theres too much talk which is boring when you have a lot of action. I'd reccomend this book to anyone who reads or watch Naruto or mangas, but they should definitely read the WHOLE manga instead of this book, they'd be confused.

As expected Naruto arrives and everything will almost be sorted. I don't like the back- up and ground work done by others whose credit will go to the kid with the new technique. Naruto is showing no growth , except getting new fancy techniques cause others see potential in him. A bit expected , no surprise factor in this episode. I am excited to know who pein is actually. Masashi Kishimoto’s 46th Volume of Naruto contained some of the most action-packed pages in all of the series. After Naruto’s sensei died at the hands of the Akatsuki leader, Pain, Naruto was put into a state of anger, seeking revenge on the extremely powerful ninja. He was brought to Mount Myoboku, the land of the frogs, where he was trained in the art of sage jutsu, a very powerful technique, that would hopefully give him enough strength to fight and defeat Pain. Meanwhile, Pain had attacked the hidden leaf village, searching for Naruto. The Akatsuki’s overall plan was to extract all the tailed beasts from all of the people they were sealed inside of, and Naruto possesses the most powerful of the tailed beasts and was a prime target. Searching for Naruto throughout the village, Pain was unable to find him, so he used a massive jutsu to completely demolish the entire hidden leaf. Just when the hidden leafs Hokage Tsunade was about to fight pain, Naruto appeared, smashing one of the six different paths of pain in one punch. Naruto mastered sage mode and was ready to avenge his village as well as his sensei. This volume of Naruto consisted of the most intense and gritty fight scene we’ve seen thus far. Pain and Naruto’s fight, which took up a large part of the volume, was intelligent, complex, and a very good example of why the Naruto series is so well known, because of the complex and intriguing fight scenes. For example, Naruto having to calculate the time in between Pain’s almighty push attack, and counter-attacking in that time, offered a very interesting factor that we haven’t seen before in the show. Not to mention, the raw power the comes from Pain and Naruto in this fight is something else that we haven’t really seen before in the series, with Naruto’s nine-tailed fox chakra and sage mode, as well as Pain’s rinnegan abilities, the catastrophic attacks the two were able to perform made the fight feel like we were really seeing some of the most powerful characters alive at the time, fighting to the most of their capability. This fight also offered the revenge of the death of Jiraiya which I personally, am still pretty angry about.

This book is one of the best's books of this series. Some parts of this book is about when Naruto comes back from his training at the frog mountain. Then once he returns to his village he at first does not recognize it because his village has been destroyed. After knowing it was his village a person named Pain appeared in front of Naruto and was told that he destroyed his village. After that Naruto gets mad and decides to fight off pain, but since this is only the beginning of the fight it does This book is one of the best's books of this series. But partly through the fight one of Naruto's friends come in to guard him but that friend failed. Right after that Naruto rages. Then that is when this story ends. So I prefer the people who like books that mostly have pictures/ comics, and manga. Also for the people who like anime. So I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 because you can tell that the author tried his best to make this book the best it can be and I like how the action is taken, and how the character's act. That is why I rate this book a 5!

This rating would have been four stars but throughout this volume, the women of the series felt... useless? Despite being one of the all powerful trio (I forget their name), Tsunade is really brushed aside? I remember watching the show and being like "ohhh hell no you better not kill Kakashi Sensei!" And I cried...a lot...and it's not even over yet. Naruto is so bad ass too. He's always been cool, but funny and not super smart and kind of clumsy...but here, he shines. But I don’t think soo the book clearly shows what is happening between naruto and Pain/Nagato and any and every battle is amazing along. Naruto is a lovable character with a dark past. Every book leading up to this point has been great. The final battle is approaching with my main man Naruto coming back with the frogs to beat up Pain.

There are multiple instances where one of the six Pains will have a face-off against different Konoha shinobi. Even master Ebisu gets to show the stuff he's made of. It's a little disappointing that we all know Naruto is going to steal the show, but this is now among one of my top favorite showdowns in the series. Nothing beats Rock Lee versus Gaara, sorry. Overall Rating: 9/10 - This is basically a re-read for me as I have been reading Naruto since 2002, and I read every initial chapter release. There is just so much I can say about Naruto all of it Naruto, except the Kaguya part.
