So slooow.

Finally we get to see some movement in the story. Beautiful art and panels.

There’s a new type of monster with a human shape that’s on the prowl. Erica Slaughter is on the case tracking it down. All this while “Ms Cutter” is getting briefed on Erica so she can take her out. Another good issue.

"What the hell is going on out there?" SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN This really needed to be longer. The little girl finally sneaks back into her house and breaks down, we learn that Erica has lost all of her resources but she's still trying to save the kids even if she stares down the barrel of a gun, and we learn more about this hunter assassin who the order is sending after Erica. I don't like her. I think it's well established that she's cold-hearted and unlikable but we get more of that "What the hell is going on out there?" I think it's well established that she's cold-hearted and unlikable but we get more of that and not really anything interesting other than some tension as to who she might go after other than Erica to get to Erica. I'd like to see a little bit more of the monster and monster hunting but I think the story set up is working and will read nicely in trade back.

That was it? Erica saying she’s there to help and Cutter being given access? That is like nothing in the grand scheme of things. Nothing.

This Ms.Cutter is going to be a problem. I hope we will have more action in the next issue.

I'm quite interested in learning more about the figure in the shadow and am hoping the upcoming issue will reveal more about it. I'm quite interested in learning more about the figure in the shadow and am hoping the upcoming issue will reveal more about it.

Let the set up continue.

This is not a complaint, I really like the pacing of this series, but these issues always seem to go by so quick. Makes me feel like I should be trade waiting for this one.
