Char happens to see him and Erin and just can’t help herself from calling June. This compounds the stuff char told her of Asher in high school since she was in school with him. So June doesn’t take his calls in the next t days. He has to find out her address so he can go to see her. She is angry and he has no clue why. June needs to learn to get both sides in a story before reacting every time. When they finally almost get past this misunderstanding another one happens when she paperwork in a open drawer at his house. June if she wants this relationship to work needs to find faith in Asher. I received a arc copy of this book fir a honest review. Can’t wait for the next installment

This picks up where book two left off. After June fainted on hearing the news about the tests, she starts to push Asher away. Asher tries everything to keep June near him but it seems everything he does is the wrong thing. When it seems that things start working out between them, Asher's past and June's trust issues get in the way yet again. Forewarning the story ends in another cliffhanger. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the formatting with the version I got but this part of Roark felt disjointed. The storyline was still compelling but it was jarring when the subject would change so quickly. This happened with the Hastings series too and the next book packed a 5 star wallop so guessing this could happen here too. As an aside, I know June was given some bad news but she is acting erratically when it comes to Asher. Their relationship is new and sometimes it pays to ask question I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the formatting with the version I got but this part of Roark felt disjointed. Oh my goodness! There is so much intensity between Asher and June. Shocks, questions, so much going on in such a short bit! I'm hooked! I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. Oh my goodness! There is so much intensity between Asher and June. Shocks, questions, so much going on in such a short bit! This series will have you on the edge of your seat. I love the chemistry between June and Asher. When secrets are revealed, it's hard to push feelings aside. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a romantic suspense. I received an ARC, and this is my honest review. This series will have you on the edge of your seat. This book is part 3 in this wonderful series and I highly recommend reading it! The romantic suspense storyline continued to be well written and June and Asher continued to draw me deeper and deeper into their story as it effortlessly unfolded!

I’m a bit confused on whether June/Asher are ‘together’. June finds out what is wrong with her and is conflicted about Asher. I read an ARC via the author and I'm voluntarily choosing to review it.
