    Riveting read! Had me on tenterhooks! Honestly, I’m not usually a big fan of crime procedurals, and I didn’t think that I was going to enjoy this. A couple of chapters in and I didn’t think that I was going to change my mind. It has a slow start, but once the cat and mouse antics ramp up, it became more engaging and it just got better and better towards a cliffhanger ending. The protagonist, Amelia, is well-written. Whilst written in 1st person, there are occasional intervals where the serial kill Riveting read! Had me on tenterhooks! I read Suburban Dysfunction before, which is also written by JJ Franks, but this is even better! Can’t wait for the next instalment!
