    Eldritch Reading Reindeer Welcomes 2022!

I tried to turn down the fear factor before reading this Anthology. Knowing what to expect, I tried reading in the daytime,  Doors and windows locked, and all the lights on! It didn't help. I'm afraid to turn off the lights...to close my eyes....even with the covers over my head...the frights can still find me.... I tried to turn down the fear factor before reading this Anthology. One would think that after so many volumes, this series would get into a dull routine. It just isn't happening. The stories are always fresh and creative. Here we have murder victims who come back to life, one piece at a time. There are legendary children's scare characters who are not as imaginary as we thought. We even get a couple cases of "normal" people doing decidedly non-normal acts. Dwellings also play important roles here. Be careful what you inherit. As in the last volume, Sara Clancy offers up an excellent tale in separate chapters speed throughout the book. Scare Street has a unique talent for attracting high quality writers. There are the regulars like Ron Ripley, Sara Clancy and David Longhorn plus a host of new (at least to me) writers that I'm certain will be heard from again. Grab this one and enjoy, with the lights on.

I cannot get enough of this series. SO ENJOYABLE. I am almost embarrassed at how much I've enjoyed this and other Scare Street series and have yet to log all the books I've read in the last year or two, but I'm so grateful for the ability to just launch myself straight into these stories. Each Terror in the Shadows book has a variety of short horror stories that are easily digestible, but jolt you with a heady dose of horror writing. Exciting Stories Well worth the money and time spent reading. The stories are so good, that some could be made into best selling movies or stand alone books. Kept me reading and wishing the stories were longer to read then they were. Will definitely read more from these authors featured.
