Over the moon....
"You can carry your flaws and be partially hidden away like a crescent moon and still...." This is just one example of the imagery Vasiliu gives us in this collection. Using the moon, as the title suggests, to describe the love and passion two people can experience makes this a unique series of love poems.
For anyone in love or who has been loved these are a reminder of the spark that ignited that love. This is a perfect book to sit and read aloud to the one you love with low lig Over the moon....

This one gets five stars and I highly recommend it.

There were a few good poems that I really enjoyed in here but for the most part it just felt very repetitive and not very deep. I read these because I am a huge fan of romance and poetry but I just not get into it for the most part and only liked a handful of the poems.

Sweet moon poetry
I'm not new to poetry and I do like to write myself sometimes. This is a sweet collection of poetry with the theme of the moon in the background. I enjoyed all of the poems they were beautiful poems and as simple as needs be. It's given me some inspiration to write again and I'm forever in the moon's shadow,as I write here on the meadow, casting glances at the starry night.oh so hollow. Sweet moon poetry

A nice casual romantic potery collection. To me, it wasn't phenomenal work but I enjoyed reading a few each day and tapping into romantic emotions. A few poems felt repetitive, but overall decent. I enjoy poetry and poetry about love just reignites the love I have in my heart. This is a beautiful book and I would recommended it to the true romantic.

Although I rated it 2 stars, I do not believe that Be My Moon is a bad poetry book. It just wasn't a poetry book for me. Don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for love and astrology metaphors. However, this book felt like it revolved around the author's experiences rather than connecting with an audience. That may be the kind of poetry many people enjoy, it just wasn't for me.

To me, many of these poems were lacking detail and relied too much on cheesy metaphors. I wanted to be able to relate to the way the author explained love and I'm sure many readers out there did just that. Nevertheless, it felt too specific for me to relate on any other level than just watching a romance unfold.
Even though I do have these opinions, there were a handful of quotes that I did enjoy and will applause the author for coming up with. For example, "And I am always looking for you, only for you." It may seem like a loose end or something that doesn't have much detail put into it, but when I read poetry I prefer something vague as to be able to add my own story to it.
Overall, this book was not for me. But I do encourage others to read it and form their own opinions rather than disliking a piece of work simply because others did.

There were only a few poems in this book I really liked. I heavily disliked the layout, the words were really big and I would get confused to if I finished a poem or not, as some would go in for a few pages. The poetry was very basic and I was pretty bored. Normally I finish poetry books and read them three times through to really appreciate them. I read once, go through a second time to highlight, and go through a third to annotate more and add sticky notes. I forced myself to do that with this There were only a few poems in this book I really liked. Maybe it’s because I just got out of a mentally abusive relationship, but I just wasn’t enjoying this poetry book.
When I read the title, I wasn’t expecting almost every single poem to have mention of the moon in it, and at some points I ended up not being able to follow what the moon is suppose to be referring to anymore.
I ended up having to add it to my DNF pile, maybe I will return to it soon when I have healed.

I think some of these poems were really beautiful, but I lost track of them in the similarity of the entire book.

This wasn’t bad, there were a few I really enjoyed, however it was very repetitive and the metaphors were over rinsed.

Perhaps I'll revisit this book when I haven't been binging amazing poetry. This book was only subpar. The language and imagery was too elementary for my taste and I did not particularly enjoy reading it. Perhaps I'll revisit this book when I haven't been binging amazing poetry.
