The Last Good Knight is a serialised novella in Tiffany Reisz's Original Sinners series, it fits into the time line before The Siren but I wouldn't recommend reading any of the prequel novellas until you've read at least the first main book in the series so that you'll be familiar with the characters and their relationships with each other. This novella was published in five instalments (see list below) but I have chosen to review the story as a whole so I'm going to keep my discussions about the plot fairly vague and focus more on how I felt about it. I have been a huge fan of this series from the get go, Tiffany Reisz has managed to pull me into her world so completely that I feel like she's actually writing from personal experience and that all of these characters really do exist out there somewhere. I can't think of any other series where all of the characters feel so real to me, even the ones we don't get to spend a lot of time with like the newbie in this story Lance. I have to tell you how much I adored Lance, he was such a wonderful, sweet and caring guy and I really wanted him to find happiness more than anything. I was so angry with life for screwing him over the way it had and it was actually painful to see what he had to give up in order to get the one thing he'd been fighting for for such a long time. I know that sounds vague but like I said, I really don't want to give you spoilers and I'm sure once you've read the story you'll understand exactly what I mean. The chemistry he had with Nora was absolutely wonderful and I really did feel that they could have been perfect together so it was hard to see the world trying to pull them in different directions. As with any story by this author The Last Good Knight is incredibly hot, and will definitely leave you fanning yourself. Tiffany Reisz never fails to turn up the heat and Nora doesn't like to be kept waiting so you know you're in for a treat when she's in full on Domme mode. Her relationship with Lance isn't just about sex though, there is so much more to it than that and they have a strong emotional connection too. The story also has plenty of drama, action and mystery as well as giving us glimpses of both Soren and Kingsley which always makes me happy. As much as I would have loved a full length novel staring Lance (and I kind of hope we'll get to see more of him in the future!) I still enjoyed every minute of this novella and it's helped tide me over until the release of the next full length novel. I don't think I'll ever get enough of this series so I hope we've got many more stories to come! Here is the reading order for the instalments in The Last Good Knight serialised novella: 1. Scars and Stripes 2. Sore Spots 3. The Games Destiny Plays 4. Fit to be Tied 5. The Last Good Night

I found this gem, a serial of novellas that find Nora working as a dominatrix for Kingsley at The 8th Circle prior to the events in The Siren. There she encounters Lance, an ex-Navy SEAL who is both chivalrous and submissive. While fairly short, this was a very fantastic read. Tiffany Reisz has crafted such an amazing character in Nora Sutherlin, and I love love love her! On one hand Nora is strong, sexy, and fierce kinkster that doesn’t take shit from anyone. On the other, she is a thoughtful and compassionate person, as any good dominatrix should be, and she truly cares for others. But her quick wit and filthy mouth are what I love most about her. “Bastard,” she said under her breath but still loud enough for him to hear. “Watch your language, Eleanor. You’re never too old for me to turn you over my knee.” Lance is such a contrast to Søren, so it is fun to see his and Nora’s relationship play out. While Lance is one sexy beast of a submissive, I love that there is still so much of our favorite sadist, Søren. The sex is off-the-charts hot, as usual. My only complaint would be not enough Kingsley. This little novella has helped to quell my Original Sinners addiction for just a bit. Certainly a quick but wonderful read. Five stars

This was a really good book. Lance, an ex Navy Seal and a perfect sub. Nora likes him, she likes him a lot and I admit he was really the perfect man and the perfect sub. When I started reading this, I was convinced that it would be a very good Tiffany's, but in the end, there was too much sex. O.K. sex is intertwined with BDSM, but I like a story to support sex and BDSM. So I give 4 stars for the parts without too much sex and 2 for the rest. That gives an average of 3. Too bad, it had started so well. When I started reading this, I was convinced that it would be a very good Tiffany's, but in the end, there was too much sex. I love this world. I always feel so sad for Nora/Eleanor though. Goodness! Lance was amazing. Wish he could have stayed around, but that wouldn't have allowed for the angst between Eleanor and Soren to continue to be a part of the story. I love this world. Never fails to disappoint - especially when the Sinners are involved! Absolutely loved this. Read most of it with a heavy heart, as we all know that Lance doesn't feature in The Siren, so I knew that it couldn't end well for them, but what a lovely concept. The Mistress was as fabulous as ever, and the cameo by Soren was greatly appreciated! Never fails to disappoint - especially when the Sinners are involved! Absolutely loved this. The Last Good Knight is the latest addition to the world of serial novella reads and I am all kinds of loving this format. The Last Good Knight takes place three years before The Siren (Book #1: The Original Sinners series) and in this time and place we find Mistress Nora all out of sorts. As one of the most sought after Domme’s in the world, Nora is exceptionally good at mixing pleasure with pain for her clients. Her only hard and fast rule is that she never, in her words, f*%ks her clients. Business is business and Mistress Nora’s pleasure is her pleasure and not work so on the night Lance walks into The 8th Circle, Nora is all about her pleasure. Lance is a beautiful and broken man with nothing but good intentions in his heart and his actions. After suffering a serious, career-ending injury in the Navy, Lance returned home to a wife and daughter he thought he could be happy with for the rest of his life. Turns out, Lance’s wife wasn’t quite so optimistic and in a turn of events that still has Lance’s head spinning, he lost his wife and his daughter in a nasty divorce. In an effort to earn the money necessary to fight for his daughter, Lance has taken a job with Kingsley Edge and in the course of his first night’s work, he meets Mistress Nora. Turns out, what the Mistress has to offer is exactly what Lance is looking for and the two spend a most painful and pleasurable night together. In a most disconcerting way, Nora discovers that she doesn’t just like Lance’s body and his well-trained submissive side, she like the man. He is honorable, he is kind, he is caring and, as an employee of Kingsley’s, he is Nora’s bodyguard. Their time together is riddled with conversation, strange encounters (the hotel adventure is excellent!) and, a very good deal of sexual tension and release. As the series unfolds, one novella at a time, Nora and Lance both have some very serious decisions to make. Can Nora actually commit to a real relationship? Can Lance justify giving up his daughter for what he describes as “the perfect woman’? The Bottom Line: This was a fantastic read that gave me even more insight into Nora, Søren and, Kingsley and left me with a butt load of questions. I have, to date read this novella series and The Saint totally out of order so I am a bit lost on a few topics but that didn’t stop me from devouring this read in a single sitting. This is a whole new side of Nora for me and Lance is completely delicious. From the moment he walks into Nora’s life everyone, including the reader knows that Lance is going to change everything for Nora. I very much enjoyed “seeing” the duality of Nora – on the one hand, the completely competent and confident Domme and on the other, a soft and vulnerable woman willing to cede some of her considerable control to a man she may just be able to love. In all, this novella series totally and completely convinced me that I am now and will continue to be a Tiffany Reisz fan. I am all kinds of ready for the rest of the series, most of which I have already purchased :)

I am writing one review for all five parts of The Last Good Knight. It just doesn’t seem possible for Mistress Nora to own anyone… There have only been a couple of people who have come into Nora’s life that she would consider keeping, Lance is one of them. There is an instant attraction between Lance and Nora when the newcomer shows up at The 8th Circle. Nora recognizes Lance’s needs and is more than happy to have a session with him. She’d be more than happy to have numerous sessions with him but is restricted from doing so by her boss, Kingsley. One of Kingsley’s past employees has been attacked and Kingsley is worried others may be in danger. Kingsley assigns his newest employee, Lance, to be Nora’s bodyguard until they can find out who is behind the attack. Kingsley stipulates that Lance is not to have sex with the woman he is charged to protect, no matter how much they both want it. When Lance sees Nora covered in bruises after a night with Soren he feels honor bound to find out who hurt her and protect her. Nora opens up to Lance about her true nature and her relationships, which leads to Lance also sharing some of his past relationships with Nora. As Nora and Lance grow closer she starts to feel like she might have found the one worthy of keeping and calling her own. Then Lance shares a crucial detail about his past that awakens Nora to the reality that not only can she not keep him, she can’t see him anymore. Despite her pain at the thought of losing Lance, Nora knows she has the power and the connections to truly make his dreams come true. Nora sacrifices her feelings for Lance to rescue the man who was originally assigned to protect her. So terribly heart wrenching; I loved every minute of it. I really enjoy seeing Nora’s softer side and love it when she decides someone is important to her and worthy of her love and protection. She is fierce in her journey with Lance; first in making him realize that there is nothing wrong with him wanting to be dominated and then in protecting him against his ex who is determined to hurt him in any way possible. I also enjoyed that there was a Soren scene which demonstrated, yet again, the inability of these two people to not be there for one another. I love every opportunity I have to be immersed into the Original Sinners world.

Part 1: It’s here in part I that the reader is introduced to the dashing Lance, who I took an instant like to. With Nora having already made the break from Søren, she approaches him in her usual brash manner and, as usual, gets her way. Part 2: Now we know Nora does not take no for an answer, even if it means she has to go elsewhere for her kicks. Her appointments have been cancelled, due a violent attack, but she decides it’s business as usual and drags Lance along for the ride. Keeping their hands off each other makes for a frustrated heroine but it was fun to read. It was also nice to have a little of the old ‘interaction’ between Søren and Nora and I will confess that I missed the priest not having a larger part. Part 3: The No Sex and No Kink ban lingers on. However, being skilled as she is in the art of loopholes makes for one hot scene between Nora and Lance that I’ve never come across in an erotic book before. It’s such a simple act, so maybe that’s why but it certainly worked it’s magic and played it’s part perfectly. Part 4: The human side of Nora makes a break for the surface and Lance really begins to get under her skin, which is a side to her that I love, and sets about righting some wrongs. The attacker has been caught and so resumes what Nora does best, driving a man to distraction in her bed. Part 5: The real side of Nora shines through as her and Lance get news they do not want to hear. Putting her feelings aside as best she can, she points Lance in the direction he knows is best but doesn’t want to face. The final scenes of them together are heartbreaking. They are proper steamy but beautiful and powerful at the same time. Only Tiffany Reisz could make naughty sex so heartfelt. The Last Good Knight is another journey for Nora and I am really curious about how her life and the Original Sinners series have panned out if there was no such dilemma in the way of a real relationship? It’s much easier to review them as one since it’s an ongoing story and I read them all one right after the other. What I appreciated most was the exploration of how misunderstood kink can be. Lance was in a bad situation because of his sexual preferences. I have a feeling this kind of thing happens to a lot of kinky people. I loved Lance. He was very different from a lot of the other male subs that Reisz has introduced. He really does have that “white knight” kind of attitude about women and especially dominate women. He also has one special characteristic that makes me immediately love men in books, but it’s a spoiler. I’ll put it behind a spoiler tag for those of you who don’t mind. He has a daughter, and he loves her fiercely. For some reason, I find fathers so sexy in books. I’m not sure what it is. I think it might be because they are a little more sensitive. As always, Ms. Reisz does not disappoint. Her writing, pacing, and crafting are what keep me coming back for more. Even these shorter stories are always written so well. She’s just one of my favorites. She also never disappoints when it comes to sexytimes. She writes some of the sexiest scenes I’ve read. This book is no different, and it offers a look at some kinks we haven’t experienced much in her previous works (e.g. foot fetishes). If you’re a fan of Tiffany Reisz and the Original Sinners, this is a must read. If you’ve never tried her books before, this might be a fun way to get familiar with her characters and try her out.

The book is very well written, and has great back stories. It has a few scattered scenes of BDSM. play, with some bondage and beatings, but nothing that is not consensual and desired by the subs. The tragedy is that Nora finally finds the absolutely perfect male submissive. Though not verbally spoken, she and Lance fall in love. She wants to make him her permanent sub and lover, which is what he wants also. But then life interferes. Lance is not only the perfect sub, but is a very good, honorable man. In the end, they both give up their future happiness (possibly forever) because Lance is so honorable he chooses to do the right thing. They will never see each other, and will never again find the relationship they have had for a short time. This is why the book's title is the Last Good Knight! (His name is even Lance!) If you can read it knowing there will not be a happy romantic ending, I highly recommend you read (must read each part in order) it.

She takes him back to her private dungeon for some fun with floggers, only to be interrupted again, this time by an emergency that threatens everyone in her kink world. The Last Good Knight is broken up into five short parts. Each part expands Nora and Lance's relationship, building their chemistry, sexual and romantic. Nora is of course hilarious, witty and sexy. Her one-liners legendary as always. The best part was Part III: The Games Destiny Plays. This chapter gives some insight into Nora's tense relationship with Soren. As much as I commend Tiffany Reisz for giving fans great stories in between her Original Sinners novels, there simple isn't enough of him. That's why I'm even more eager for the next book The King, coming next month. I compare the burning longing of waiting a meager thirty days to the sheer frustration Nora must have felt watering a stick for six months. Six fucking months.

God, I have such a HUGE crush on Nora. She appeals to the men and women! So, this takes place not too long after she leaves Søren, but before The Siren. She meets a man at The 8th Circle, and Nora finds herself amused by him, (which is no easy feat.) There is someone on the loose who harmed one of the Dominatrixes from The 8th Circle, and Kingsley doesn't want Nora to have any sexual encounters with her new bodyguard. Doesn't he know the one thing he doesn't want Nora doing, is the one thing she God, I have such a HUGE crush on Nora. She appeals to the men and women! I give The Last Good Knight 5-stars and can't wait for more from Tiffany Reisz!

I held off reading this novella series until the week before the release of "The Saint" just so I would have some new Reisz to read and build my anticipation for June 24th. The Good Knight introduces us to Lance and as with all of Ms. Reisz's characters you are endeared to him in no time. What makes Lance really interesting is Nora's possible unique interest in him. In The Good Knight we get more insight into Mistress Nora's daily routines and clientele. All five books are real "quickies"but very satisfying.

I can not even explain in words how much I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Breathtaking at times, the way the author makes you feel for Nora all over again and in such a short space of time! I even got slightly emotional over the end situation with Lance. I read this after reading all of the first 4 tie-in books and I can honestly say that I am glad I did it this way. It gave me a little history into the background of Nora and her world. Again the writing was so descriptive, could just imagine the I can not even explain in words how much I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I wish every author could make me feel for a person, the way I feel when reading about her.

a short but absolutely amazing story Nora is the most amazing woman ever exist, and in this story she keeps proving why she's the queen, she's funny and sexy at the same time, she has this ability to make everyone falls in love with her. Lance is the perfect knight in shiny armor, he's amazing protective, a gentleman, loving, caring and Soren is amazing, I have no more words to describe how much I like him (and want him) One more time Tiffany Reisz make me fall in love with her characters and get lo a short but absolutely amazing story Nora is the most amazing woman ever exist, and in this story she keeps proving why she's the queen, she's funny and sexy at the same time, she has this ability to make everyone falls in love with her. Amazing! I could read anything and love it in this series. It has sucked me in and won't let go. Nora is one of the best characters I've ever encountered. She is strong and sassy there is love, kinky hot sex, mystery, every taboo that could be imagined and it's all in a day for Nora. The world that has been built around this series is so deep dark and twisted. I would highly recommend this book! Amazing! I could read anything and love it in this series.
