It's a pretty ok book. Found it on Amazon for free and for that alone the rating is high. It works well for extra reading practice for my older esl kids. I can use it for the preschoolers in circle time reading. I wouldn't give it to kindergarten to read alone, but by the end of first grade there should be no issues whatsoever. The message is about how to look on the bright side and be grateful for what you have that is good, rather than grumble about the bad. The characters do remind the kids o It's a pretty ok book. The characters do remind the kids of themselves and the concepts on each page can be well explored and delved into with the little ones. I am a Christian School teacher, and although the book does not mention God, I can use it and tie it into the curriculum.

This is such a kind beautiful book about being grateful and getting along with your friends, family, and surroundings. The story flows from page to page and will put a smile on your face and your kiddo will be begging for more. The illustrations are vivid and cheery. I highly recommend this book for all. Great for preschoolers! What a great story for young school-age children to learn about positivity. I think this story is a must have for pre-school teachers to help young kiddos navigate their emotions!

I adore this book! I believe everyone in America should read this book, no matter how the election ends up we all need to keep positive! Grunt is a typical grouchy bear but he learns to look at the bright side of life! I believe this is such an important lesson for everyone to learn and repeat to themselves right now!
