Murdoch Investigations is open for business! Jake and Rainer Murdoch are opening their own business as private investigators, with a little help from Leah Bonnar as their temporary receptionist and office organizer. Jake cannot help but notice that Leah is no longer the little girl with the crush on him from their childhood. She has grown into a beautiful woman that he would like to know better if it was not for the contempt and dislike in her eyes whenever she looks at him. This is another excellent Sylvie Grayson crime mystery with plenty of intrigues, scammers, villains, and victims. The characters are charming and relatable and the cases they investigate are realistic. I love this series!

Total Delight I really enjoyed this book. I even had a nice little cry near the end. The characters are so like the people that you could meet that you feel as if you are with them. The romance is lovely and endearing. A total delight.

Jake Murdoch started his private investigation business with his brother, Rainer. Leah Bonnar, a childhood friend, started working and organizing the business from day one. The investigations included scammers, villains, and mysteries. The plot was wonderful. The characters were a little weak.

Another great Jake PI story. Jake and his brother open up business together. Their secretary is a someone whom he’d love to get closer to. Unfortunately, that’s not the case for her A bit of romance, mystery, enough to make thus an outstanding book.
