Clears up any confusion caused by some of Godawa's nonfiction books. My favorite of all the theological books examining the supernatural background of history. Ends with a VERY interesting take on modern day evil. Clears up any confusion caused by some of Godawa's nonfiction books. I found this book a fascinating and fun read. The title can throw you off. It has a quasi-fantasy flavor. But Godawa has done some serious research and will help the reader better understand the ancient world and how the people at that time thought and perceived the world around them (seen and unseen). For the person who takes the Bible serious, after reading this book you will never read the Bible the same again. Some of those difficult passages will come alive to you. It was excellent until........ This man is obsessed with making his certainty the only truth. I got bored and I don't care about his end time point of view I got this book on learning something on the watchers not hearing about his childish disagreements once again on Christian's views on end time events once again! You've proselytize it to death enough in your other books. Move on already find a new obsession your losing your audience. Big fat zero for going COMPLETELY off topic and false advert It was excellent until........ This man is obsessed with making his certainty the only truth. Sacred Scripture is NOT a screenplay Terrible account of The Holy Trinity, interspersed with an incredible amount of hubris on part of the author. What is accomplished by the fictionalizing and blatant sowing of your tares, Mr. Godawa? The wheat will not suffer, nor will the gates of hell prevail against Christs bride. Reconcile your friendship with the Creator. We really don't have long in our flesh. A little okay a lot mixed up and assumptions on way to many things and not even close to facts on all of others. As man keeps trying to make a place for themselves they will throw together whatever little they have read or think they know to try and make a name for themselves and you have books such as this. The book jumps all over the place and I had to force myself to finish. The book jumps all over the place and I had to force myself to finish. At one point he states "One other tangent related to dragon in the story of Oin: Dragon Emperor of China was the red herring thrown out by the emperor to discourage the protagonist's pursuit of a dragon." one other tangent is just a small example of the ramblings on and on as I am doing here to show you how monotonous but for your benefit I am not jumping topics every other sentence. Because "...the dragons are long dead because they are actually misinterpreted dinosaur bones.. puke puke talk about making assumptions and misinterpretations with no foundation of proof also known as supporting facts. I will rewrite this chapter for chapter maybe in the next few days after I have read a few other books to shed the, wash that right out of my.... Sept 14. Okay I went to look at the reviews to see what others have said and I see everyone is "Still Reading". boy do I know why... I am sure they are just like this is way to much garbage to keep forcing myself to read. Thankfully I have the Ibooks and will use the reference links to go check everything and respond to each BS point. No I will not write a book about it, at least not one I want people to pay money for under the title of BS Monster feeds Crap to Public... lol. .... LMAO. Okay more later this week.
