Pack's Posse by John M. Vermillion Enjoyed this fast paced action and adventure story. In today's world with Covid and ANTI FA you find yourself right in the thick of things. Have not read any of the author's works but this one and wish I had read them in order. I was brought up to date but don't really know a lot of the past incidents with the others in the pack. There are a lot of characters and I felt I kept pretty good track of them. With all the action going on there is also lots of locations to Pack's Posse by John M. With all the action going on there is also lots of locations to enjoy and understanding ANTI FA a bit better as to what they stand for and the threat they have on the USA. Love the cabin in the woods and interactions along the way with others. Great story if you enjoy military theme Marshalls' going after the bad guys. I received this review copy from the publisher and this is my honest opinion.

This particular book in the series relates to the US Marshals tackling "domestic terrorists" in order to protect the integrity of traditional America. The characters are extensive and well established and the book also comes with a handy guide to help the reader keep track. Pack displays exceptional leadership skills when managing his team and inspires those who hold the same beliefs. The book is fast paced and full of action. This was an exceptional read. The story begins on July 5, 2018, when a federal convicted felon kills an U.S. marshal while escaping and comes to an explosive ending on September 29, 2020, two months from today. Pack’s Posse, led by U.S. Marshal Simon Pack, retired marine corp general, West Point Commandant, and ex-governor set a record for bringing felons to justice while butting heads with U.S. Martial Service’s director. The stories within this story read like the best of the true crimes genre This was an exceptional read. The characters that Vermillion has created are so lifelike, the dialogue so realistic, that I felt as if I knew these people. What happens to Pack well, you must read this book to find that out… makes him seem all that much more real.  Vermillion is the new master of the crime thriller genre.

Pack's Posse by John M Vermillion is the eighth book in the Simon Pack series and they seem to get better each time. As a US Marshal, Pack faces not only the deadliest criminals, but now he has to watch his back from a jealous superior. His task force supports him with their loyalty as he has proven he would lay down his life for them. There are parts of this novel that really hit a nerve, because of where our country is right now. John M Vermillion is an impressive author. Pack's Posse quickly draws the reader in with the kidnapping and killing of a family to start this thriller off and it only gets more intense from there. Overall, this novel is extreme, powerful, and a multi-layered crime story.
