This is a powerfully written psychological thriller with a cast of characters that are all obsessively in love with another. And when obsession and love each slam into the other, the only result can be deadly. Written in part by each of the characters, it's easy to see who lies and who doesn't .... but they aren't all exactly who they say they are. There are those who pretend to be what the others want them to be ... but are actually just biding their time in order to get what they want. One man realizes that it is only one other man standing in the way of his definition of a perfect life with a perfect woman and he's not shy about framing another for his deeds. This one is a page-turner especially for someone who doesn't know just how complicated relationships really are. Many thanks to the author / Bloodhound Books for the digital copy of this psychological thriller. Read and reviewed voluntarily, opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.

Plot/Narrative The plot/storyline is very absorbing. It is about obsession, trauma and murder. It was suspenseful, tension-filled and thrilling. The Prologue stays with you throughout the book. This was an absolutely not to be put down psychological thriller and once had started I couldn’t stop. It was a gripping story and also makes you want to look behind you when you are out and about as really makes you think about how it feels to be stalked. This was my first book by this author and certainly won’t be my last I have now downloaded another of her books to read and can’t wait to start it.

What a ride!! I loved this book as I have done with Diana's previous work, this book had me gripped from the very beginning. Just a VERY small part of it reminded me of myself when I realised My ex husband had been leading a double life for many years, during my pregnancy which infuriated me! I made an account on the sites I'd discovered he had been using & found his 'Other Half', I became a very good fake, desperate woman who was certain the guy she had said was hers was someone I was seeing, lon What a ride!! I made an account on the sites I'd discovered he had been using & found his 'Other Half', I became a very good fake, desperate woman who was certain the guy she had said was hers was someone I was seeing, long story short, I asked her to meet & gave her all the evidence she needed, wedding photos, pictures of us as a family! She was floored & we got together & confronted him, I've never seen a grown man who thought he could get away with what finally came out, many women! I've sat & thought many times & especially after reading this book, maybe I should try to write my own as reading You Are Mine reminded me of all the years of pretence & knowing what he was doing, My dream is to be able to write my own novel one day but I don't know where to begin, My story is with me everyday even though I escaped 12 years ago! Is there anyone out there who could help me make my dream come true & have something good come out of a nightmare which has left me alone since I left as I have no trust when it comes to Men due to the damage & mind games he played!? On a brighter note, PLEASE READ THIS AMAZING BOOK, WHICH I AM NOW GOING TO NO DOUBT READ AGAIN MANY TIMES!!

Really good book!!! There were points in the book that were a little slow but overall good book. There were parts of the book that had you entranced and hard to put down. I felt so scared for Rebecca because she had been through so much and things just kept happening to her. I was so mad at her boyfriend Mitch but then I started to like him and then things had to happen (I will not say what things happened so I do not spoil this book). I enjoyed this suspenseful thriller. This is my first book by this author and I look forward in reading more from her. This is a well developed story that has characters I had no issues connecting with and had a hard time putting down. They made me feel as if I was part of the story. It is engaging and fast paced. The twists and turns left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. This is a story about the past and present colliding and turning dangerous. Oh dear. I just couldn't like any of the main characters in this; all having their own obsessions, they weren't a very likeable bunch. Some the minor characters were ok, but we didn't really get to know them as they were devices to move the plot along, for the most part. Speaking of which, Rebecca having someone who just happened to invite her to Australia, just at the time she needed to get away, was rather too unrealistic. I couldn't really recommend this to an enemy, let alone a friend. Off to Oh dear. A terrific read. Was totally engrossed. A story of love and jealousy. Creepy and disturbing characters with sinister motives. One of the main characters just made my skin crawl. Urghhh!! EDITED: I have added an extra star because I can't get Arthur out of my head which is absolutely the sign of a well-written character Creepy, obsessive and not an easy read. I'm not sure if I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped because it was unsettling, because I didn't love the characters (which is OK as we readers don't need to love the characters we read) or because the story didn't grab me as much as I'd expected. I intend to re-read this in the future to see if my impressions change. Love is unconditional This book was very interesting and I really enjoyed the different perspective of each event seen through the eyes and minds of the characters. It was pretty superficial though. None of the people were developed enough that you could actually care about the outcome of any of them. It's strange because it really could have been a 5 star because the story line itself was excellent and all of the twists were there it just wasn't developed enough. So glad that I've never had a stalker - at least I don't think so! This book made me rather uneasy at times and made me think about that though. The intermingling of the book's characters was very clever and showed that love can be a very wonderful thing as well as a very scary one too. I would recommend this novel to anyone confident enough about themselves, and their love lives, to read it. So glad that I've never had a stalker - at least I don't think so! This book was so creepy!! I found myself drawn in and wanting to read more and more the further on I went. The characters are incredibly well developed and written. That's not to say I liked them, they were extremely unlikable. Arthur in particular gave me the creeps!! Very good writing that despite not liking any of the characters I still liked the book. 3.8 STARS This book was slightly better than average and some parts had me guessing. I liked the character’s personalities and found Rebecca to be quite likeable. This book reminds me of the Netflix series YOU and when I read the blurb I did think it would be very similar. The way the book is written is quite good as it’s from the perspective of different characters.

I thought this book was amazing. It was such an incredible penetrating look in to the characters minds. and at the same time incredible wisdom and insights. It’s the first time in a very long time I have read every word in a fiction book.I highly recommend this book! The best book I have read in some time. This writer has great talent and I have been an avid reader for 56 years.

Diana Wilkinson’s novel “You Are Mine” is a grim book. . Unrequited love, unhappy lovers, trying to untangle knots that resist solution. Right from the beginning, it is clear who the anti-hero will be, though his character type is very familiar, almost a stereotype. The resolution of the story is one that is expected. But the book keeps you glued to it. For that, it deserves 3 Stars.

I was engrossed by the complex story from the beginning. We know from the prologue that this will be a rough ride and the reader is kept guessing as to when, where and how the worst will happen. The slow unfolding of the relationships reveals, layer by layer, the damaged personalities of each of the main characters. The story includes a multitude of troubling issues; all of which will inevitably cause mental health problems in an adult, making for a believable story. While most of the characters are not likable, they are well-drawn and complex. The plot is delicately drawn bringing the various threads together in a satisfying way. This was a gripping tale and I recommend it to fans of psychological thrillers.

Fantastic to see a note at the end of this book saying please report any typos and we'll get rid of them within hours - but this should be at the BEGINNING of the book... i used to spend hours of my time reporting (and hunting down who to send these to) book errors until it got ridiculous and i gave up. Now, reading a lot of kindle books, i just ignore them, so this would be good to know BEFORE reading a book, particularly on kindle, and i'd be happy to do so.
