Victor Saller finally feels like he kind of has his life together. He has a great job, a nice apartment, and friends. His boyfriend may have run off to work on a surgical charity ship in Africa, ending their relationship just when things were getting interesting, but it could be worse. He still has his family, and his possibly comatose cat, Fred. When his sister texts him, Victor Saller finally feels like he kind of has his life together. His boyfriend may have run off to work on a surgical charity ship in Africa, ending their relationship just when things were getting interesting, but it could be worse. He still has his family, and his possibly comatose cat, Fred. When his sister texts him, letting him know that his longest unrequited crush is in town, he ignores it. That ship sailed a long time ago. Patrick Hayley is exhausted when he lands in Atlanta, but that isn’t stopping his brain from reminding him that the son of a family friend is in the same city. He turned down Victor once before, and he’s too embarrassed to try to contact the man again. Fate, however, has other ideas, because they run into each other in the locker room of a gym, and somehow end up at dinner. And then back at Victor’s apartment. It’s all going well until Patrick panics and bolts, leaving behind clean laundry and fresh muffins, and a confused and hurt Victor. The hardest part of any relationship is sometimes just getting out of your own way. Please Note: This book contains adult language and steamy adult activities, it is intended for 18+ Adults Only. And as Jerry’s repertoire grows his dramatic ability increases. WITH YOU ALWAYS is one of his strongest stories to date. For those who follow Jerry’s many books, his ability to paint a scene we wish to explore is expected. And in this new book he lives up to that expectation – ‘It was late when Patrick Hayley got into Atlanta. Just after eleven at night on a flight from Portland, and he was exhausted, probably smelly, and grouchy. He had been in meetings most of the day, then he had just enough time to stop at home, feed his dog, and grab his bags. He had purchased the extra legroom, but at six foot five, even that didn’t help the seats to feel less cramped. He was sitting in his rental car, waiting at the drive-thru for something resembling dinner. It was a hot, muggy night, and the city smelled wrong to him the way only Southern cities ever did. He was a Westerner, through and through, though if the plans he was here to present were accepted, he was going to be in Atlanta a lot more often. As he watched the car ahead of him inch forward, his thoughts wandered. His mother had mentioned that a family friend’s son, Victor, was still working as a nurse anesthetist at a hospital north of Atlanta. An image of Victor’s face last time they had seen each other swam to the surface…’ With that subtle opener, this story begins, and is summarized well by the synopsis: ‘Victor Saller finally feels like he kind of has his life together. He has a great job, a nice apartment, and friends. His boyfriend may have run off to work on a surgical charity ship off the coast of Africa, ending their relationship just when things were getting interesting, but it could be worse. He still has his family, and his possibly comatose cat, Fred. When his sister texts him, letting him know that his longest unrequited crush is in town, he ignores it. Jerry Cole seemingly has endless stories to share. Recommended.

I am a fan of Jerry Cole books, because you can always count on a great romance, hot scenes and a HEA. Now is the turn of Patrick and Victor who loved each other for ages but needed a little push to get together. This book is all about wrong assumptions, being afraid to break expectations and second chances. There is an age gap but in my opinion eleven years is not a gap so wide to be worried about. Nice low angst reading. Enjoy it! With You Always is a short and sweet story of Victor and Patrick who’ve known each other most of their lives but were too afraid to take their relationship to the next level. This story is unique in how the characters are depicted as well, human. Patrick, for instance, isn’t described as the picture-perfect muscle hunk that’s normally in every gay erotica novel, but more of an average joe. Both Victor and Patrick also have their own issues with anxiety and depression. It’s nice to read about these types of real-life problems because these do affect a lot of people and relationships out there. It makes the characters a lot more relatable. I enjoy visualizing hunky guys having steamy encounters but it’s nice to see the other side too. Another great romance read from Jerry Cole (JC). Victor and Patrick have known each other for years. they are part of families who know each other. both fancy each other but both need a bit, no quite a bit of pushing to get together. as with all great MM romance books the ingredients are many, miscommunication, attraction, age gap, fear, recent heart break, panic, bolting, more mix messages, hot sex and off course that all important HEA. lets face it lads the news is not full of HEA these days. When I started reading this story I thought it was just another contemporary romance with a lot of angst, but by golly was I wrong. Patrick and Victor has been in love for many years, but patrick can't get past the fact that Victor is much younger than him and he actually babysat for him when they were younger. Now they meet occasionally and finally meet in the middle...mostly. Patrick is still not sure of himself. Both men have issues and their love flows like jagged waves, that never quite making it shore. Heart attacks and jobs keeps Patrick across the country from Victor, then a hurricane comes along. Will these two men loose each other before they can smooth out the waves of their lives. A must read as stress, mother nature and doubt keep the two men apart. Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review.  Patrick was in Atlanta for work, half hoping half dread he would run into Victor. The coin toss was still up in the air after being ghosted on the one night together.  Can Victor give him another chance after his mental freak out? And when a hurricane hit where Victor is, will worst of the storm bring more more bad luck? Loved this sweet romance with Patrick's inter struggle to accept the age gap. Another wonderful read by Jerry Cole as always.

This is the story of Victor and Patrick. Victor had a crush on Patrick for a long time. They meet by chance again after years at a gym and sparks are flying. But Patrick’s age somehow got in the way of a smooth relationship. It needed a hurricane for Patrick to finally realise that he loves Victor with all his heart. This book, once you start reading it, you will not be able to put it down. Jerry has outdone himself again. A must read. This is the story of Patrick and Victor. I loved the characters and fell in love with the. The chemistry between them is amazing. Written so beautifully and it feels like every story is just getting better and better. The emotions that comes with the age gap is portrayed wonderfully. I can't wait for the next book. Hurricaine and love Enjoyable story with challenges faced and handled. I would have liked more time with the characters, more of their romance and more time in the epilogue but the story itself was rich and very enjoyable. Thank you.
