Standard opening for this type of book. The character seems to have a little bit of backstory. The one issue I have noticed is that the main character seems to be all powerful and does not seem to be challenged all that much. The plot is good. The writing is good. This series has potential.

One of the more interesting isekai novels out there, I was curious about the novel after seeing the anime. Apparently, according to the author's blurb at the back, the anime revived the light novel so that it got a new lease on life, which I find pretty wicked. So what did I think of the light novel? It was pretty good. A lot of the things you would expect from a light novel in all honesty. Overpowered protagonist, downtrodden beast people, a harem (of sorts), and general badassery. It was pretty good. A lot of the things you would expect from a light novel in all honesty. Overpowered protagonist, downtrodden beast people, a harem (of sorts), and general badassery. That said, there is an underlying current that eventually the allies the 'demon lord' summons from the game into his world are going to betray him once they discover his weakness. It's sort of like Overlord, Vol. 1: The Undead King, only here it actually feels like a tangible threat, where in Overlord, there is no overall feeling of threat at all as his subjects are too loyal. The people of this world seem too okay with modern tech, and though this seems par for course with isekai novels, it is a bit bothersome for me. They just seem okay with stuff that would normally scare a peasant, even in a world with magic. It does end up taking the reader out of the story, but not much in all honesty if you've read any sort of isekai story. All in all, I will keep reading this series. It's enjoyable and I like it a lot.

This story is fun. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I saw the anime a while back and I couldn't wait to read the series. The story and characters were intriguing and engaging. I look forward to reading more about these characters and their further adventures. This book is definitely worth reading. This story is fun. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Hilarious! So, I actually saw the anime first and was so disappointed that only one season had been made so far that I knew if I found a novel version it would have to be mine. The characters are hilarious, especially Kunai with his complete cluelessness. It has a lot of adult humor though so teenage and up, please!

It appears that this is an offshoot from an anime series. It makes a little bit of sense, but not enough to give me any interest in continuing. A successful computer game developer has killed a game that has lived too long - but now he is inside it. Yep, Gotcha. Critical Evaluation Engaged - absolute rubbish! Aero Stars

I am coming into the story after watching the anime. Story is great. The only thing I don't really like is status screen for every character he comes across. It gets tedious especially since I listen on my radio. I am coming into the story after watching the anime. Story is great. Bought this after watching the anime series. The book fills in a lot of what i needed that obviously an anime can't convey. I liked the story, writing style a little unusual and I get lost with just which character is speaking at times. Still well worth investing time reading. Bought this after watching the anime series. I loved reading this. I'm going to be honest I was drawn here because of the anime first and boy was it a good choice to read the manga. It's so funny and I smiled a lot. I actually wish the anime had followed the manga's storyline better. Some chapters were out of order when made into the anime. I loved reading this. Loved it I read alot of light novels where the main character is taken to another world and this one has some nice surprises in store.

For anyone thinking of reading this is a hilarious series with a short page count but the OP MC is annoyingly dense or won't pursue romance which sucks but there's still great parts of the story For anyone thinking of reading this is a hilarious series with a short page count but the OP MC is annoyingly dense or won't pursue romance which sucks but there's still great parts of the story

Ever read overlord? This follows along the same route. If you don't like overlord, you won't like this and vice versa. Nothing new here. Ever read overlord? This follows along the same route. If you don't like overlord, you won't like this and vice versa. Nothing new here.
