Standard opening for this type of book. The character seems to have a little bit of backstory. The one issue I have noticed is that the main character seems to be all powerful and does not seem to be challenged all that much. The plot is good. The writing is good. This series has potential.

That said, there is an underlying current that eventually the allies the 'demon lord' summons from the game into his world are going to betray him once they discover his weakness. It's sort of like Overlord, Vol. 1: The Undead King, only here it actually feels like a tangible threat, where in Overlord, there is no overall feeling of threat at all as his subjects are too loyal. The people of this world seem too okay with modern tech, and though this seems par for course with isekai novels, it is a bit bothersome for me. They just seem okay with stuff that would normally scare a peasant, even in a world with magic. It does end up taking the reader out of the story, but not much in all honesty if you've read any sort of isekai story. All in all, I will keep reading this series. It's enjoyable and I like it a lot.

Hilarious! So, I actually saw the anime first and was so disappointed that only one season had been made so far that I knew if I found a novel version it would have to be mine. The characters are hilarious, especially Kunai with his complete cluelessness. It has a lot of adult humor though so teenage and up, please!

It appears that this is an offshoot from an anime series. It makes a little bit of sense, but not enough to give me any interest in continuing. I loved reading this. I'm going to be honest I was drawn here because of the anime first and boy was it a good choice to read the manga. It's so funny and I smiled a lot. I actually wish the anime had followed the manga's storyline better. Some chapters were out of order when made into the anime. I loved reading this.
