This is a really good devotional book. I feel like it really defines and encourages us as women through our normal everyday life with normal everyday problems. Some devotion books seem like they are so “high” above our day to day lives but not this one. Excellent job!!

Our Daily Bread was always a staple in my childhood home. To this day, my mom still has a copy on her nightstand. It was the first devotion that I started reading daily and I've always enjoyed the stories and lessons that could be found in them.  God Sees Her, produced by Our Daily Bread is geared towards women and focuses on God's love towards us and His presence in our lives. I'm always amazed at how the devotions that I read each day are relevant to my life.  The book contains 365 devotions, on Our Daily Bread was always a staple in my childhood home. I'm always amazed at how the devotions that I read each day are relevant to my life.  The book contains 365 devotions, one for each day of the year. They begin with a verse from the Bible and then contain a story that relates in some way to the verse. The stories are always touching and enjoyable to read. The devotions are short, only taking about 1-2 minutes to read but that makes them the perfect length for busy mornings before starting the day.  I love the compact size of the book...it's about the size of a 4x6 photograph so it could easily fit in your purse or glovebox. The design of the cover and end papers are beautiful...watercolor flowers on the cover and yellow and white stripes on the end papers that are very cheery. There's also a subtle flower design on the corner of each page. Little touches like these make me happy. I also appreciate that there's a ribbon bookmark attached to the book so that it is always to keep track of where you are.  Overall, this is a great devotional and I would highly recommend it. It would make a great gift as well.  I received a copy of this book from the publisher to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Short and to the point daily devotionals. I haven't completed the book in it's entirety yet (since it's only March) but so far I have been enjoying it. It's good for those with busier lifestyle who want a quick encouragement at any point during their day. It's for sure not a "deep study" type devotional but it does have good nuggets of truth and encouragement for daily reflection. Short and to the point daily devotionals. MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK  I really enjoy reviewing Devotionals, there are so many of them and I love all that I have seen. Today I want to introduce you to a Devotional from one of my long time favorite company, Our Daily Bread. I had the honor a few years ago to read through their God Hear’s Her Devotional with a group of 10 very sweet and valuable and I truly loved it. Each day was exactly what I needed for each day. But even though they are short, each has a profound truth that will stay with you through the day. This is an amazing choice if you are looking for devotions that are short, to the point, and will help you through your daily life. I received this devotional in March therefore I haven’t finished it, but it contains nuggets of gold for each day that I look forward to reading everyday until next March. I keep it on my footstool where I can pick it up each day. It has such a pretty hardcover that invites you in and is compact enough to stick in your purse. This is not an in depth devotional but simple and to the point of encouraging women that God sees us and we are important to Him. God Sees Her by Our Daily Bread is a heartwarming devotional. I like how each devotion has a story or experience with related scripture with it all tied together. They help a woman get through each day with food for thought. The devotionals are encouraging and positive. I also thought they were meaningful, relevant to life today, and thought provoking. It is nice that each one is short and easy to read, but the message will stay with you throughout the day. God Sees Her is a delightful (and beautiful) little daily devotional. With 365 readings written by various women, each starting with a verse and suggested biblical reading, it provides short, but thought-provoking reminders that we are never alone—God is with us and knows us and sees us every day. Each devotion is easy enough to fit into an established quiet-time routine or spark the establishment of one. I've started and set aside so many devotionals, however God Sees Her is very likely to be the one that sticks. The devotionals though short are Holy Spirit power packed and heart stirring. I have read and enjoyed Our Daily Bread for years, so I was excited to read this book. I like how it was a year-long devotional book. Love this devotional. Really appreciate the direct links to the Bible verses in the digital version. I could see myself using this tool in the car pool pickup line, before my workday starts, or in a quick stolen moment throughout the days. While I believe so much more could be gained with intentional time, this devotional allows for it to be used to stay connected to the Word in the mundane moments, as well as the longer quiet moments.

This title is a spiritual (Christian) book that offers women something to think about every day of the year.  Taking stories from life, each is meant to be encouraging and connects to something with deeper meaning.  This book will be welcomed by the many readers who like to start their day in a good mental/emotional space. Many thanks to NetGalley for this title, with an entry for every day of the year, in exchange for an honest review.

Such a cute daily devotional book for Christians! The author lets us get a bit of a view with some of her daily activities & Lifestyle and uses Bible verses as a way to overcome those obstacles and to better understand her situation. Some of the things she talked about I couldn’t personally relate to so it felt a little distant for me in that aspect, but the overall messages and Bible verses that accompanied them were great! *I got this book for free from Netgalley, in return of an honest review.

I absolutely love this!! Each day, starting on January 1, this book has a daily devotion. Each devotion is original and different, each with thier own bible verse or bible study scripture. Easy to read and follow format, and with a detailed devotion written by a different author each day. I love all the different personalities and perspectives! Definitely recommend and definitely a great book to understand the bible better!

So I just downloaded this book when I found it! I will be starting it January 1st, 2020. But I did take time to read through randomly, different pages and read the full devotions. I love the beauty of the book and the colorfulness of the flowers and how it was laid out. I can't wait to dive in for a year of devotions that are broken down in small pieces for this busy mama's life. So I just downloaded this book when I found it! Timely and inspiring, “God Sees Her” is a collection of 365 short daily devotionals written by women for women and compiled by Our Daily Bread. As indicated by the title, the overarching theme of this devotional compilation comes from Hagar’s story in Genesis 16, in which she refers to God as El Roi, the God who sees me. Several of the devotional readings directly reference this name, and all of them emphasize the fact that God always sees us, even when we feel unacknowledged, and that because of this, we do not walk alone. “God Sees Her” is set up in the typical devotional style, with a brief reading for each date throughout the year. Each has its own title, below which is the Bible passage to read and a Scripture verse that correlates with the reading. Half of the reading discusses a personal story or observation from the author, then segues into the Biblical application. Those familiar with the Our Daily Bread devotionals will recognize this format, and it also matches that of the companion devotional, “God Hears Her.” These are suitable for women on the go, especially since the books are small and compact, and they provide a spiritual boost for the day. As such, this is a good devotional to supplement daily Bible reading, because spending time in God’s Word is essential every day! I received a complimentary copy of this book through Celebrate Lit and was not required to post a favorable review. All opinions are my own.

This is a great companion to have with the book "God Hears Her" I only have one small problem with this book, (I like the fact that there is no year on the dates ) but today's devotion seems like it is outdated because at the end it says this. "As we ponder the events of this week leading up to the celebrate of Jesus's resurrection, may we too be given the gift of humility so we can extend Jesus's love to our friends and any enemies" I know Easter was early this year and we should extend Jesus's love to others daily so this doesn't really brother me at all. I like to read "God Hears Her"and "God Sees Her" side by side. Today in "God Sees Her" it talks about Jesus washing Judas's feet and In "God Hears Her" it talks about David. God Sees Her is a beautifully styled gift book containing 366 meditations with accompanying Scripture that speak to the heart of women. The title comes from a story in an Old Testament book of the Bible—Genesis—where Hagar is on the run, alone in the desert with nowhere to go. The angel of the Lord finds her and calls her by name. After this encounter, Hagar exclaimed, “You are the God who sees me” (Genesis 16:13). Women today need this same assurance . . . God sees you, God knows you by name, and God cares about every detail of your life. Let these short Our Daily Bread devotionals written by women like you wash over your soul and remind you each day that God is near. The handy size, ribbon marker, and decorative cover make it perfect for gift giving to your girlfriends too. My Thoughts: This is a wonderful addition to "God Hears Her". If you are looking for a devotional, this is a good one to pick up. This is a devotional for every day of the year. The reader begins with a scripture and then there is a lovely devotional that illustrates the scripture. These devotionals are short and sweet, they don't take a lot of reading, but leave the reader with much of God's word. The cover is very attractive and feminine, ladies will love this! It's a wonderful way to get into God's word each day.
