The book is 3 stories in one novel. 3 stories about one night that changes everything. My favorite is the 2nd, One night in the ice storm, and least one the third, One night with her best friend. I liked the concept of the novellas. 2 people who have know each other for a long time and have feelings for the other having one night that changes the dynamic of their relationship.. Noeele Adams's writing is familiar in this book from her other books but is not boring or tiring. I like it very much. This book was a combination of 3 separate and standalone books with a One Night theme. Noelle Adams is becoming a one-click favorite author for me. I've read 4 of her one night themed stories and have loved each one. I'm not usually a novella fan, but each of these is well-developed and never feels rushed. One Night with her Bodyguard: This was my absolute favorite of the three. Claire was a wonderful heroine with an interesting problem of severe social anxiety. The head of her father's security team, Michael, was so patient and wonderful with her considering how serious he was in his job and emotionless. Slowly Claire realizes her feelings for Michael and begins to see another side of him. The build up for this book was perfect. You feel everything Claire does after the climax and how she steps out of her comfort zone to go after what she wants. The book had the perfect blend of romance and suspense with a stalker. One Night in the Ice Storm: This was a good novella about Rachel who was childhood friends with her brother's best friend, David. After losing her virginity to him, he steps away from her and she never finds out why. (view spoiler)[ Her grandfather was very judgmental of David and his single mother who worked in a bar. He threatened him to step away from her even though he's always loved her. (hide spoiler)] Although I did enjoy the story, Rachel wasn't my favorite heroine. She cried a lot (then again, Claire in One Night with her Bodyguard also did, but the book was too good for me to let that change my feelings). Also, she was EXTREMELY stubborn and had to be self-sufficient. David was also that way and gave her a hard time. This story felt less developed than One Night with her Bodyguard. The story takes place in her mother's house as they're stranded during an ice storm. It does have a very HEA and I liked David and how he didn't let her push him away. One Night with her Best Friend: This was also a good novella and seemed fairly short compared to the other stories in the series. Kate and Aaron have been best friends since they were 14/15 years old, except for a short time when he was married and lived across the country. As you can surmise from the title, they finally give in to their feelings. Aaron has been in love with her since forever, but it takes Kate some time to realize she feels the same way. I loved Aaron's character the most in this book.

These little novella's are good for a quick fix if that's what you're looking for. Each novella is less than 100 pages. Sometimes I'm not in the mood to sit through a lot of plot development and background to get into the meat of a love story. And these are the perfect little antidote. The author does have a talent for making these short stories enjoyable, without the plot development... Could they be even better with more substance, of course... But that's not what these are about. My favorite was "One night with her Bodyguard". I felt like it was the most passionate... Maybe because it was a forbidden love. I love those. It was drawn out a little bit more too... I love a little torture, the payoff is better that way. My next favorite was probably "One night with her Best Friend." I totally love friends to lovers stories... And then "One night in an Ice Storm" is more of a second chance romance story, which I also usually really like... And this one was just fine, but didn't effect me as much as the others. These are fun little stories... And if you're in the mood for something light and quick, I would recommend these... You won't find much emotional connection or compelling story lines here... The writing is good enough, but nothing impressive. They are a quick fix, not something that will stick with you for long. This is a collection of novellas with a similar theme, one night that changes everything. The first story is about Claire's night with her bodyguard. Claire has extreme social problems; she describes herself as shy but I would say its more than that. The bodyguard has been part of her life for six years and knows her well, but she barely knows him at all. The second story sees Rachel, who was heartbroken by being dumped with no explanation by David 8 years previously. The bodyguard has been part of her life for six years and knows her well, but she barely knows him at all. The second story sees Rachel, who was heartbroken by being dumped with no explanation by David 8 years previously. She's visiting her family and he is still friends with her brother and has dropped by to pick something up. The storm closes in quickly, leaving them trapped overnight, and giving Rachel a dilemma. She is still very attracted to David, despite how he let her down. Can she resist him? Only minor thing re. this one is that I felt that something would have been said between them sooner, although to be fair reasons are given as to why nothing was said by either of them. This story stayed with me the longest afterwards. The third story sees Kate and her best friend Aaron. Kate's early life was chaotic; she hates change and tries to control all aspects her life. Can she come to see that not everything needs to fit into her life plan and try and take a chance on something unexpected? These three stories are all enjoyable, only thing I would say is that if you read them in one sitting there are some similarities but they are all about the same theme so that makes sense.

I entered the giveaway for this book cuz it was a love story or I should say stories. I loved them! I had a hard time putting the book down. Only time I did is when it was a new story:) I loved each one. I always want to know more, like if Rachel moved in with David and started a flower shop. I just wish they were a little longer so I knew if things stayed and worked out well to a happily ever after:) but if your looking for a love story that you can read quick and be all happy and giddy for the I entered the giveaway for this book cuz it was a love story or I should say stories. I wish I could give 4 1/2 stars I read the one with the best friends and I loved it so I got the box set to read the other two. They are all the wonderful stories. The only thing that keeps me from giving the five. Was all my unanswered questions at the end of the 2nd book. I loved all three stories though and would recommend them to anyone wanting some passionate quick little stories that will each touch your heart.

Kindle cheapie I will admit that sometimes I enjoy a quick romance novella. I don't always have time to get invested in a full book so it is nice to dive in and out of a quick story thus I bought this collection. It delivers pretty much what it says it does. The stories tend to get better as they go along. Nothing particularly memorable since it is hard to go in too deep with a novella. But it was exactly what I expected and needed at the time. I like this author, but I don't feel this was her best work. These felt like practice stories, a writing exercise. I liked the bodyguard one best, the old flame one was ok, but the friends to lovers one was almost painful. Her writing has improved with her more recent releases. Also, these three could really use another read through by an editor or at the very least, a proofreader. I found many examples of dropped letters, dropped words, and incorrect tenses. 2.5 stars. Quick reads, these three novellas are well written and each have a style on their own. I enjoyed all three of them - could not pick one if you asked me which was my favourite - and wished they weren't so short! Will definitely keep an eye for Noelle Adams :) Quick reads, these three novellas are well written and each have a style on their own. There are 3 short stories in this edition. Each had a similar concept, of one night leading to more and the the discovery of love. It is sweet, short an pleasing to read. I thoroughly enjoyed the books and it light hearted and makes my heart swell a bit more.
