This was a hard book for me to get into. I was bored with all the inner dialog in the beginning of the book and quit reading right before Lucy gave the tour of the B&B. A couple of weeks later I picked it back up and started reading again. I actually liked what I read today. It was a sweet story. I think the beginning chapter(s) could use some editing and streamlining, but otherwise it's a very nice little Christmas story. This was a hard book for me to get into. This book was a surprise to me. I found it would go to spaces in time and therefore explain things. The story line is good with no dropped links. I enjoyed the characters, they were all pleasant enough. I had a sense that the author was male, but only a bit. Normally, there is a difference between female and male writing styles. Nothing wrong with that, just saying.

The Grinch meets her personal King Christmas, who tears down her inner protective wall almost at first sight. This short story is perfect for everyone who wants to get into the right Christmas mood. Although somewhat exaggerated (and I think it has to be like this), this love story is funny and full of Christmas miracles with a touch of tragic loss.

I believe! I believe! What a whirlwind of emotions that were felt on this journey called life! The twists and insights were so heartbreaking and heartwarming as we learn of the struggles our heroine, Paige, has faced throughout her life. And the difference Eli and Lucy make in leading her to believe in Christmas and love.

The author loved words The main characters loved words. This reader not so much The ending was horrible and didn't seem to flow with the rest of the story, one the author just wanted the story to be done The author loved words The main characters loved words. Great book! I loved how Trevor brought each of the characters to life. It was interesting to see how he showed that what happens to us as a small child can influence how we are as adults and how to get past the bad times.

Interesting story This story had a blurry beginning, but I stuck with it and enjoyed the read. Lots of great literary quotes. Really showed the depth of a writer's heart. There were some typos in the text, which always interrupts the flow of words. Interesting story This story had a blurry beginning, but I stuck with it and enjoyed the read. I ended up skimming to read the end. It's written in very bad third person view. It's essentially all telling, and no showing. The ending doesn't fit with the rest of the book. No more walls Beautifully written. This book was not romantic fluff but an exploration of the soul. Belief in others is necessary for love.
