One of R.O. Lane’s best! I have read quite a few of Mr. Lane’s books and this one especially appealed to me. Lucy was a caring, strong woman. Not greedy or amoral, just a good person. She found a husband very much attuned to her character and they lived an exciting life. My kind of book!

One of my favorites The author does a terrific job of character, plot, and storyline development and makes the story "flow". I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it in 24 hours... which is rare for me, given my work/sleep/free time schedule! I bet you will enjoy it too. I will be purchasing more by this author... for a relaxing read again. One of my favorites The author does a terrific job of character, plot, and storyline development and makes the story "flow". Treasure Hunting Wonderful western story of a young woman who inherits money and land. While exploring the West, she finds her husband to be. They are both wealthy and both are kind and good people. Wealth was not important to them but being together and happy was very important.

A fun read, tho somewhat sad R O hits another home run. This story relates to many of us, if you look beyond the actual incidents and location. I hope you can read with an open mind

Lucy a women of the west Lane writes another classic western. A twist to his feminine side that is humerus, tragic and a story that the end is visible from the start but what a journey.

Good Life A wonderful story about two people who have a great deal of money. Two good down home type of people, who just want to lead a typical life. Treating other folks the way they want to be treated. Blackie, the abandoned dog, was a nice touch to the story.

Delightful little story. I really enjoyed this story and the romance it revolved around. The dog Blackie was a nice touch as well. There were some editing errors that caused the four stars, but the story itself was a five star all the way.
