Maggie Langham, widowed and with less than a steller track record with men, is relatable as a character. In her stage of life she is ready to take risks in her life, moving to Hawaii and starting a business that she has had no experience with. Along the way she makes trusted friends to help her be successful in both, and while romance is far from her things to do, romance finds her. Naden has expertly weaved in mysterious subplots that leave the reader guessing until the last page on what Maggie' Maggie Langham, widowed and with less than a steller track record with men, is relatable as a character. Starting Over is a quick read that takes the reader to Kauai with Naden's expert description of the landscape, bringing the scent of the native flowers alive on the page.
