Giving into the Vikings' demands came with a surprise. Their babies. The stories of friends that all unexpectedly became a Viking’s bride. Book 1 – The Viking’s Bride I tried to run. But there’s nothing he won’t do to have me. I was forced to marry a ruthless Viking Warlord. Now, I’m carrying his twins. Grim is big, fierce, and handsome beyond words. But he's a killer, Giving into the Vikings' demands came with a surprise. But he's a killer, feared by all. I can’t believe my father would force me to marry this barbarian. Could a man like that ever love anyone, let alone me? We’re from two different worlds. Being with him in fantasy is far different than reality. A happy marriage seems impossible. So, I ran. But he found me, put me over his shoulder. And brought me back to be his bride. I hate how his gruffness makes my body yearn. I hate how his touch drives me wild. But what if there's more to him than a broken and vicious warrior? Could I get the happily ever after I've dreamed off? Or will I always be his captive bride? Book 2 – The Viking’s Wedding Big, gruff, dominant… and utterly dangerous. Einarr Thor is a beast of a man. A beautiful savage. And not to mention we’re different in every way. The fierce Viking Warlord wants me to be his bride. And there’s nothing he won’t do to have me. Book 3 – Beowulf’s Claim I was left in the woods unconscious, on the brink of death. He brought me to his cabin and saved me. I became a caretaker to an orphan boy that he was raising. But when I recovered my memory and discovered his dark secret, I ran. I don’t care that he’d search the world for me. I’d never be Beowulf’s Claim. Book 4 – The Viking’s Captive I’m the daughter of his enemy. In one night, I became his captive Princess. A way for him to beat my family. Who is he? Trident’s a man that takes what he wants. A gorgeous, giant brute. At every turn, I fought him. But there’s a side of him that only I know. A protective side that made me safer than I’ve ever felt before. I fell for all of him. I couldn't deny him any longer. Marrying him and giving him my innocence is insane and forbidden. Once our families find out about our news... It could end this feud or destroy us all.

Not sure about all the good reviews So I bought the box set after reading the reviews for this set. Here are some things that would have made be make a better decision . It's written in first person, which I'm not a big fan of, but besides that the language is ridiculous. The " F " word is used entirely too often. The innocent virgin heroin uses the "p" word for herself( which I've always found trashy). It's almost like the author is trying to use cursing to show how big and tough the men are ,but it's coming off as juvenile behavior. I didn't finish the first book, and don't plan on continuing. I hope this helps someone else if they are looking for an honest review.

Guilty pleasure. A bit too erotic, but at least the stories are good.

The Viking's Bride from the first page and throughout I was totally captivated. Each and every character came to life and you find yourself drawn into their story. As a psychic tells the King Leif a Viking would come and claim his daughters hand in marriage and so on a moon light night as he he grazed at her the psychic prediction comes true. Be swept away with a strong alpha male Viking Warlord and a stubborn, headstrong, hellion Princess who find love through their trials and tribulations and The Viking's Bride from the first page and throughout I was totally captivated. Be swept away with a strong alpha male Viking Warlord and a stubborn, headstrong, hellion Princess who find love through their trials and tribulations and the twist and turns that make this one outstanding read that you won't want to miss. Grim and Sassa find a blazing hot romance with giggles, tears, death, adventure, kidnapping, and the gamut of emotions from despair and grief to joy and ecstasy.  I am looking forward to the next book by Jessica Knight, The Viking's Wedding. Fall in love with Einarr and Thyra in the The Viking's Wedding. Einarr is a strong alpha male Viking Warlord who is lonely and scarred with darkness inside and out until he meets Thyra who is looking for love. When the two meet its love at first sight but Einarr will have to win over Lord Troy, Thyra's father. But, with every good romance there must be a villain, and Jessica Knight has created dastardly villains, The Jackals. I was totally swept away with sigh-worthy romance of Einarr and Thyra. A heart pounding story with Delicious Sizzling Passion, plenty of drama, a few giggles, suspense, action, deceit, trials and tribulations, and the gamut of emotions from despair and grief to joy and ecstasy. It's a story of Love, faith, and to triumph over all. This is the one that will keep you turning the pages until you discover what happens. I also enjoyed visiting with old friends and meeting new ones! Can't wait to read about Wulf and Lilith's journey! WOW! Soooo many emotions swirl through you as you read this story by Jessica Knight! Beowulf's Claim has an incredibly strong plot that brings this read together perfectly. Great dialogue, characters are complex and believable, wonderful secondary romance that brings this read together perfectly spans the times. It's an action-packed  rollercoaster ride full of trials and tribulations that will keep you sitting on the edge of your seat,  turning the pages faster and faster, until you reach the last satisfying sentence. Each and every character came to life and you find yourself drawn into their story. The scenes are so strikingly detailed it paints an incredible backdrop that makes you feel like you are one with the story. Beowulf a Viking Warrior is a sensuous alpha male all the way who has been living in a dark empty place since Lilith, his one and only love, was kidnapped as a young girl by the sadistic Jackals tribe. Beowulf and Lilith journey is believable you feel every emotion that they are feeling throughout and imagine yourself as one of the characters or just part of their journey. They draw you in and give you reason to take the journey with them. A heart pounding story with delicious sizzling passion, plenty of drama, suspense, heartbreak, tears, a few smiles, and the gamut of emotions from despair and grief to joy and ecstasy. Once I started reading I could not put this book down until I had finished reading it!! The Vikings Captive is a very enjoyable story. The one thing that I loved is how Jessica Knight brings back characters we love from the first three novels. It's very enjoyable visiting old friends and seeing how they and their families are doing.  From the first page and throughout I was totally swept away with sigh-worthy romance of Trident and Sylvie. Trident a brawny Viking warrior tired of being alone finds his true love with Sylvie a free spirit whose family has been in a feud with Trident's for generations. With delicious sizzling passion, plenty of drama, suspense, heartbreak, laughter, a few smiles, and the gamut of emotions from despair and grief to joy and ecstasy. And can't forget Snow! You just got to love a gal who knows what she wants!! 😉

I got the box set on the Kindle and was initially very exciting. The story lines seemed interesting to me. The characters were different to what I have been reading and I like heroines that develop over the course of the story and do not stagnate or get worse. However, the men language was off to me. I am not sure if the f-word was even used back then. 🤨 Then I wasn’t sure what setting (like what time) the author had pictured. School 5 days a week? The concept wasn’t developed back then. The way they spoke was like a mix of different times and areas. Initially I had the impression the story took place on the British islands (Viking taking hold or invading an exciting society) then I assumed Sweden (after Norway was mentioned being a neighboring country). While I liked the book, I found a few things confusing. Maybe it’s just me.

What’s up with the writer? Did she do absolutely no research at all, as to daily life in the supposed period these books are set? Women’s lib? Women writing? In diaries, no less? Mascara? It takes more than just thrusting your characters into period costumes, and calling it a ‘historical romance’. The language, thoughts, and actions have to reflect the time period. If you choose to do no research at all, as to the customs of the times, why not just write a contemporary romance, and be done with it? T What’s up with the writer? If you choose to do no research at all, as to the customs of the times, why not just write a contemporary romance, and be done with it? The glaring historic errors were too many, and too frequent to ignore; or to allow the story to be enjoyed. I say ‘story’ because I couldn’t finish the first in the series, forget the rest. For me, this is just a huge ‘no’.

I was sadly disappointed by these books I was expecting more Viking stories that were based on history and what I thought was Vikings who talked in every day language and phrases that I know they didn’t use back then. Maybe I’m spoiled by authors who give me a feeling of the real language with out the modern phrases and slang. While saying that I will say the author had good characters that I enjoyed reading but honestly by the second book I had to force myself to continue reading. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I pushed through & finished all four. Do I regret reading it? Yes.... the plots for each could have been so much better if they weren't interrupted by pages & pages & pages of explicit sex. I soon started skimming those sections, only to find that I was skipping a good 2/3 of each book. There are several 4 & 5 * reviews, but Karen's review puts into words what I was thinking. I only started to read the 1st story. Don't bother. Anyone who sets out to writes a historical book should at the very least know the history of that time period. She does NOT! There are books to help writers if they don't want to do basic research. This person did not even bother to learn even the very basic facts. This is being lazy! I will not waste my time on any of her books. I only started to read the 1st story. Don't bother. Pass up this volume of "so-called" set of "romance" books If you have read any of my other reviews, you know I majored in English in college. The language in these books was beyond graphic, and just obscene! The "love scenes" were brutal! I couldn't wait to delete it. That's the first time I've done that with a book! Do yourself a favor, and pass this one up. Instead , read something by one of your favorite authors. Happy reading. Fierce Warriors This is probably the most intense book I have ever read. Scary Viking warriors that are strong enough to kill with their bare hands, but hands soft enough to love. Every story was filled with love of family, honor and warrior spirit. It will transport you to another place and time.
