I have always enjoyed sewing plush toys since I had to make one in high school. However I have run into trouble finding many pattern books that weren't knitting or teddy bears. So when I saw this bright, colourful looking book on fleece critters I couldn't resist. The book offers many patterns of varying styles and while 20 may not seem like a lot to some, the patterns offered can easily be altered to suit you. I took the tiger pattern and with just a few changes made it into a fox. That was one I have always enjoyed sewing plush toys since I had to make one in high school. I took the tiger pattern and with just a few changes made it into a fox. That was one of the things I liked most about this book. That I could so easily edit the patterns, turning them into other animals that I wanted more. That and the fact that polar fleece is indeed a wonderful and forgiving fabric to work with. Five stars!

I checked this out from the library and loved the variety of animals. The only problem was a lot of the patterns were missing. Why do people think it's ok to take patterns out of library books?! It was frustrating to say the least. I checked this out from the library and loved the variety of animals. The only problem was a lot of the patterns were missing.
