An easy read that you will fly through Okay it doesn't take a natter mind to work out the culprit but nevertheless a nice read for a lazy afternoon. The plot was a good one but it fell down in the respect that more red herrings weren't thrown in to lead you off track. The characters, too, seemed slightly two dimensional but maybe further books will add more depth. Her sisters are coming home for a birthday. Since her parents have died, she and her two sisters have depended on Nana and her BFF. Since her parents have died, she and her two sisters have depended on Nana and her BFF. Plus there seems to be something on her Nana's mind. An offer has been made for their building. The building that houses their teashop. Should Nana accept? The buyer is pushy and overbearing plus who brings gifts of tea to a teashop owner? When Nana dies suddenly and she is taken in for questioning it is the family friend who arranges a lawyer and somewhere to stay. What killed Nana? Should they sell the building?

Yea love This was not the first book of Ms. Hengerer that I have read but the first one I can leave a review for. I love the storyline, characters, and adding to the stories with recipes and craft projects makes this a win win. I came across Ms. Hengerer through cozy mystery promised glad that I finally had the chance to read her work. I am excited to see what happens to the Powell sisters and Bevanne.
