Good surprise This story is full of characters that are full of life. Well developed, emotional and you fall in love with them. They are all human and flawed. Dragons are just mention. A sip to keep you wondering. Cannot wait to read the next book

Setting the Stage? The first book in a series is more difficult since characters and their relationships are just being set. The seemed elimination of a sympathetic character is sometimes hard to take. Hopefully, the next book begins to clarify some storylines.
