Did you know there were two brothers with the last name of Disney who created this entertainment empire? Walt and Roy Disney built the world’s most popular theme parks and brought to life some of the best-known cartoon characters in family entertainment. The story of their lives is a wonderful tale of hard work, determination, and cooperation. Wonderful book to introduce Walt and Roy Disney to young readers. I’m a fan of Aaron’s other titles and he does a great job with this book. Aaron offers a glimpse into the Disney Brothers and how their entertainment empire came to be. Aaron doesn’t sugar cost anything and he provides a well-researched and well-written book. There are no myths or tall tales here; just a great look at the Disneys. This is a fantastic book for kids to read before their next trip to WDW or Disneyland.

I need a title that will appeal to kids from kindergarten to 5th grade and their families (check). It needs to be relatively short and easy to read, with some illustrations (check). It can’t be a book that is taught in the classrooms (check). It can’t be a book that is taught in the classrooms (check). This year, it has been requested that we find a book with some sort of creative or artistic component (check). But there is a quote in the book from Roy Disney where he recounts Walt calling himself a horse’s a$$. And there is at least one “he11” in the book as well. It might be a deal breaker which would be sad...
