Tales of the Feisty Druid A fun adventure packed fantasy. I really enjoyed the premise with druids, magic and so much more! The characters were just okay for me I couldn’t really get into them but I did enjoy the slow burn romance build up between them but I would’ve liked to see more!

Awesome series! Ms Crum really knocked it out of the park. She created memorable and sympathetic characters and infused them with the heroism and humanity that the KGU is known for. The Good, The Bad,and The Magical Arrynn's story is basically a good versus evil story. If you decide on that basis to not read it, then you will miss out on the world that Arrynn lives in. Her world is filled with many different animals and beings that are magical . Her story has many other characters that keeps it interesting . I read all seven books, one right after another, that's how good they were! I recommend to anyone who likes this genre type of books not to hesitate to read these books. Adult language never bothers me. I read, sick sometimes, horror genre stuff and the word usage doesn't bother me. Here in a fantasy epic, the profanity seemed oddly out of place. Arryn is the lead, a feisty Arcadian Druid. The supporting cast is equally fun. Odd that the adult language seemed so jarring. I think the stories are fun. I read all seven books and was annoyed again by the fact that the story continues. If your into fantasy, you might like this. If you're into female empowerment narra Adult language never bothers me. I'm sticking middle of the road on this. The story is interesting, but not everyone uses expletives so loosely, especially when one is in formal company. Even someone who has a foul mouth will edit their verbiage when in a formal setting. It was just okay.

Every obstacle only makes her stronger. I loved reading the Alexander’s story of how the three powers Physical, Nature and Mystical, came to be so divided in the valley when they set out to be mutually supportive. Extremely enjoyable for all ages.

I am not sure what to say about this series. I was sucked into the story but hugely put off by the vulgar language. I forced myself to read to the end even though the story kept basically repeating itself: Girl goes somewhere and meets some people, becomes enemies, enemies attack or girl attacks and kills the enemy with barely a fight, repeat several times. Time moved too quickly in this series. Events that should have taken weeks, took maybe a day or two. Spending what should be weeks in the frozen north working on learning to teleport only took two days? What? Preparing to attack the highly fortified druids camp took only a day? What? Everything just happened with no preparation and planning a massive attack would require. Many plot elements made no sense: Suddenly the druid patrols that had been going non-stop are just gone and the dark druids are able to get close without warning? What? Nobody knows about this girl and her powers until she emerges from the druids, but years ago her father was supposedly abducted for no reason other than to use him against her? What? Of course my review makes no sense either, it is hard to review so many stories in one review without writing ten pages. It all boils down to a good story lost in too little details, plot holes and unnecessary foul language.

Wow! What a series. I had trouble putting it down and getting sleep. All the books were good, but Nr 3 was my favorite! She got her FAMILIARS! I was bubbling over with joy. Not only did she get down the mountain, but she found two (maybe 3) lifelong companions. That was something that filled a hole she had and maybe didn't even recognize it. She was now complete! I felt the story could only get way better from now on! Oh, that's right, it DID! LOL. Ms. Candy, I can hardly wait for the next story Wow! What a series. This series had plusses and minuses, but more plusses. I debated whether to give it only 3 stars but then realized I had begun to like it more as I went on. The mainly pointless cursing really broke the spell woven by the authors’ good storytelling. There are a few points where it might fit OK, but the ‘in the parking lot of a modern bar after closing’ language flies in the face of the ‘horses, magic, and swords setting’ . Couldn't put it down. Originally I picked it up because it was on sale but honestly I loved the series and wish there was more. It was fast paced and honestly I blew through the whole series. It got better as it went along...worth hanging in there! I like reading well-crafted fantasy so was drawn in by the title. I don't, however, like liberal and unnecessary profanity which is why I nearly quit reading about halfway through the first book in the series. By that time, though, I was getting caught up in the story. I survived doing home health in the Bronx and running a prison infirmary without perishing from being exposed to huge quantities of needless profanity so decided to read on and make my decision about finishing the series after finishing the first book. Needless to say, (but I'm going to, anyway) I finished the series and plan to seek out subsequent takes of Arryn (the feisty druid) and Corrine. The story line kept me up reading way too late for many nights while the level of profanity dropped from being overwhelming in the first book to being used more for emphasis as the story became stronger. If I had rated the omnibus when I contemplated giving up on it, I would have given it one star. If I had rated it on the last book, I would have given it five stars. So, I gave it three stars figuring that this best represented the overall series. I hope to be able to give future books an unqualified five star rating. Btw, I enjoyed the 'feistiness' when it was character-driven and not just profanity-driven.

I made a commitment last year to read primarily fantasy indie authors and support those of my craft. I picked up this series on Kindle Unlimited and was looking forward to a good Druid read and instead was very disappointed. In fact, I couldn't make it past a third of the way through the first book. As a fantasy author myself, I love the freedom writing fantasy can offer but the story should be believable in context and somewhat appropriate for the era or time element the story takes place in. I I made a commitment last year to read primarily fantasy indie authors and support those of my craft. As a fantasy author myself, I love the freedom writing fantasy can offer but the story should be believable in context and somewhat appropriate for the era or time element the story takes place in. In this particular story a young girl is given to a druid family to be raised as her parents are being killed by the "bad guys". This is the short prologue to open the story and then the story jumps ahead to pick up when the girl is now a young woman and her best friend is the son of the druid woman who raised her. The setting is aptly described leaving the reader to understand the story taking place in an early period of England since that is primarily where druid lore originated. My difficulty with the story is when the young woman calls her friend a "dick" and is going to "bitch slap" him for the tricks he pulls on her. Now I'm in no way a prude and that language may be appropriate if it were modern day and not 17th century England. The story was engaging in certain areas but was not strong enough to get me past the language snafu's. This is only my opinion, others may enjoy it.

I am impressed at the excellence of story telling. The authors evidently loved the characters and embraced each. Even the antagonists were treated with respect and love. All are three dimensional characters. I fell in love with Arryn in the first book, and Cat is one of my best friends. This is a broad story with depth. As a result, the reader will find fantasy, mystery, high adventure, romance, and fun. As the story progresses, all the characters grow and change, which makes this even more inte I am impressed at the excellence of story telling. A nice love story. I read all seven books back to back. Two main things I would like to comment on. The first being that the story didn't quite end as I had hoped. It left off with another whole story to be told. Secondly, this is a fantasy story and with all due respect, it had no place for the language that was used in it. That all being said, it was still a nice love story and I enjoyed reading it. A nice love story. I read all seven books back to back. Two main things I would like to comment on. Could be great I was interested enough that I read the series up to this point. However I felt the majority of the bad language was gratuitous and actually took away from the story. There were also several fight scenes that seemed repetitive. I really enjoyed the characters and liked the strong female roles. I will probably read it of another book comes out but I hope a few dozen of the "Bitches and fucks" are left out. Could be great I was interested enough that I read the series up to this point. Ok Ready for Book 8 Wow what an adventure and to all complaining about the curse words, it did say this series contained them so quit complaining because this was a fantastic story. Well made characters, full of action and adventure in a unique world. Already read about Hannah and loved that series (waiting for another book on her by the way, hint, hint and waiting for another of this series with Arynn and Cathillian). Recommend this series

Hope there is more... Love the banter and comebacks between the two main characters and the rest of the group. If this will be the end of the story I'm goin to be pissed. So much of the story is left to be told at the end of book 7. If the end of book 7 is it, I'm going to be pissed like Arryen. Bring on the next book. Hope there is more... Do not let this title sway you. This series is AMAZING. The main character is strong and funny. If you like a good fight, not too much romance (it's not sappy and I love a female character that isn't falling all over herself for a man). All the characters are well-developed. It was fun to read. The dialog laced with cussing was funny but not effective. The mixture of magic in all its variations was a neat twist. The characters were fun but I didn't become friend with any. It was fun to read. The dialog laced with cussing was funny but not effective.
