I am really loving learning about organizational structure and leadership within that structure. This is a comprehensive, data-driven but reader-friendly overview of this field of inquiry with a very tightly focused thesis woven throughout. I would call this a seminal work in this field. I will read it again I'm certain. I am really loving learning about organizational structure and leadership within that structure. Anti-indigenous and racist language that is glossed over. The book is very white centered and the minimal attempts to encompass equity, diversity, and inclusion are weak and performative. The framing methods are useful to a certain extent but nearly all examples are Fortune 500 companies which are mostly un-relatable.

Solid leadership guidelines that I'm sure I'll return to often after completing school and actually working. Solid leadership guidelines that I'm sure I'll return to often after completing school and actually working.

This is another book I read for one of my doctoral courses. I enjoyed this book. It is one of the better textbooks I have read. This book is definitely a keeper.

I read this for grad school and found it to be one of the most "readable" textbooks I've had. It's filled with great examples to illustrate well-researched ideas and concept. Basically, it's accessible and interesting. I read this for grad school and found it to be one of the most "readable" textbooks I've had.
