The chemistry between boss and personal assistant makes them a great team. His natural alpha dominance helps balance her tendency to lose control and react. The story will involve two main characters, Clay and Janelle. She works as his personal assistant, and they have always had a good working relationship, and one where she has been efficient and skillful—until recently. It will take a little bit of digging, but Clay will soon learn that it involves a conflict with another co-worker, Suzanne. The plot will have Suzanne strutting her stuff around the office and making bold claims of being in a relationship with Clay and flaunting that to Janelle. She will constantly make derogatory remarks to Janelle and making bold but unsubstantiated claims of a relationship with Clay. When Clay learns of the problem, he has more than one solution; he will stand up to Suzanne, disputing her claims, and discipline Janelle and then set her straight on the truth and how he feels about her. Once Clay makes it known to Suzanne that there is not now nor will there be any type of relationship involving her, and his declaration towards Janelle, it will place a target on Janelle’s back. Suzanne will make comments to co-workers, and lead people to believe that Clay and her will get back together again. What happens when critical files and letters start to disappear, has both Clay and Janelle concerned because it will affect not only them but their company. Just when things seem to smooth back out, threats become an issue, and when Janelle doesn’t share with Clay, he isn’t happy with her. Her work is becoming sloppy, she is coming in late and looks like she isn’t sleeping. He will have to impress on her the importance of trust and honesty, and then involve the law. The story is part mystery, suspense, part sabotage, angst, and threats. It will involve a police investigation to uncover how far someone is willing to go to get their way. The stress on Janelle takes its toll, but Clay is always there to help her, even if it means a trip over his knee. She learns that he has her best interest at heart, and only wants what is best for her. “You’re here protecting me from everything, and you have been the whole time. That spanking the other night was exactly what I needed right then. I didn’t know it, but you did, didn’t you?” I have a safe and secure feeling again, and I’m definitely happier now.” The story includes a working relationship that becomes romantic but is never coerced. While there are many spanking scenes, they are discussed before and after, and always done with love and respect, and never overly harsh. The story has the two main characters falling in love, even while under duress, and when Clay sees Janelle is losing it, he does his best to help her gain control, and sometimes that means a spanking. The story has kissing, cuddling, but never sex scenes. There is a resolution to the crime, and those involved, as well as an HEA ending for our two main characters.

Can't Argue With That is a clean domestic discipline romance. The characters are fun and the plot has a mystery to solve. Clay and Janelle share a sweet love, but he also won't put up with a bad attitude or bad behavior in general. However, that is not a problem as Clay has the perfect solution for Janelle's times of stress and frustration with a trip over his knee for plenty of spankings given with love. I did enjoy the conflict between Suzanne and Jannele with their petty confrontation and Cla Can't Argue With That is a clean domestic discipline romance. I enjoyed this quick read and hope you will too as I recommend it for fun time. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book.

This short story is a very sweet, clean romance that includes elements of DD & spanking. As well as working together, Clay & Janelle must navigate their new relationship with some drama & suspense along the way. I really enjoyed the beginning & end of this story, but felt it got a bit bogged down in the middle. Overall though, I really liked the characters & found myself chuckling to some of the comments made by Janelle.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.  Working as an assistant  to Clay is something Janelle  excels at - usually.   She has a   crush on her handsome boss and the thought of the office barracudda taking him is enough to rock her calm.  Enough mistakes and he calls her in to find the problem.  She quickly learns that he is a spanking man.  Fair,  but firm.  Spanking romance.

Can’t Argue With That is one of those sweet romances between a strong caring man who wants to protect and care for his woman. Clay cares about Janelle and wants her to be the best person she can be. He wants to protect her from those who mean her harm as well. Sometimes it means spanking her hard to get her to think about what is best. Good story. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Janelle is working for Clay for quite some time and the both fought their feelings for each other practically right from the beginning. When Clay acts on his feelings, it is the start of a stormy relationship. Clay is a stern man and Janelle is disciplined several times, but he is also loving and takes good care of her. I liked reading this clean spanking romance.
