Book review for: My Sister is a Monster This poor boy has discovered there is a monster in his house! It poops, makes messes, it cries & has taken over his parents’ time. This monster looks like a lizard to him! He garners help from his grandmother who encourages him to study the monster very carefully. I thought this was a very clever part of the book as he is taking pictures and videos and writing things down studying the monster. A very touching part when the monster girl gives him her banana. He finally sees her as a human little girl. A clever story and very sweet. I think it will help that older sibling to understand better about that new monster baby in their house!

Wonderful book on a new sibling A good book to read to older brothers and sisters when a new baby arrives. At first they don't see what all the fuss is about. But gradually start having fun with the new sibling as they grow older. Wonderful book on a new sibling A good book to read to older brothers and sisters when a new baby arrives. I chose to read this book after receiving a free e-copy from the author. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased. My Sister is a Monster is a cute book about a little boy who has a new baby sister. He doesn’t understand why this little monster gets so much attention from everyone. All it does is poop and scream. As his little sister gets older, though, he learns to love her and realizes that she’s not such a monster after all. This is a cute story with colorful pictures and I chose to read this book after receiving a free e-copy from the author. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased. It would be fun to read to young children but is a must-read for children who are about to have a baby brother or sister. My Sister is a Monster could help them understand that what seems to be an attention grabbing monster will soon be a sibling that they will truly love.

Sweet story Takes the change and addition of a family member and places it in rhyme. Told from the eyes of a child who's place was just changed. Sweet story Takes the change and addition of a family member and places it in rhyme. Told from the eyes of a child who's place was just changed.

My Baby Sister is Here!! A beautiful story for a delicate family issue. Sometimes bringing in a new baby will leave the older child feeling neglected and alone. This book is a fun way to show an older brother it will be fun having a baby sister. This cute book will pave the way to what is coming. The pictures are helpful with showing the new baby as a monster, which is how he sees her. Go along for the ride of brotherhood. Enjoy! I loved this story. This is a book that should be read to every child who is about to become a brother or sister for the first time. This is told from the perspective of a young boy who has just met is baby sister. All she does is fusses and makes messes so he calls her a monster. His wise grandmother tells him what to do to discover how to defeat this monster. Before long he has learned she is a kid just like him and loves her so very much.
