This is the second book in The Bradens & Montgomerys (Pleasant Hill – Oak Falls) Series, but can absolutely be read as a standalone. "Don’t worry… I’m good with my hands." I loved this book, not mincing my words here. It was an out and out good old fashioned romance, with a contemporary modern twist due to the themes that the author used for this 'opposites-attract' couple. "I never imagined wanting to dream again..." Beau has been hurt by love, and still carries the guilt of what he thinks are his failures with him many years on, so when he agrees to attend to a large number of repairs on Sterling House a quaint inn now owned by Charlotte Sterling, erotic author and all-round quirky girl, he gets a whole lot more than the peace and solitude he was hoping for. "I don’t want to fix you… I just want to know you." The minute these two meet you know you are in for something special, blow-up dolls, hand-cuffs, and general miscommunication mean Beau gets all sorts of wires crossed and not of the electrical kind. Although there is definitely electricity, but it’s two people sparking off of each other kind. Charlotte definitely not one to shy from speaking her mind sees more to Beau than the closed off, moody guy he has gotten used to being and it’s not long before the pair of them are giving into their mutual attraction. "I want what my parents and grandparents had, where relationships and intimacy mean something, and I don’t really believe that exists anymore…" Trouble is, they both know that anything between them can only be for the time that Beau is in town, and with the deadline looming for him to up and move to Los Angeles for a career opportunity, they make as much of the time they have left together. He'd never forget a minute of their time together... And the author gave great swoon with all of the thoughtful and romantic things that Beau did for Charlotte along the way. As an author, she was used to spending more time in her plots and characters heads, whilst living off bottled water, Twix's and protein bars, but he bought her back to reality with some super sweet actions and excursions. "I’ve had my eyes closed for so many years; it’s going to take some time for me to adjust to your beautiful bright light. Bit I see you… and I want to see more of you. I also want you to see more of me, but it’ll take time." As I said, this is the first book I have read by this author, and this is definitely one of those occasions where I want to kick my own ass for taking so long to read something by her. I have seen so many positive reviews for her previous books and I can definitely now understand why there are so many Melissa Foster fans out there now. And I absolutely count myself as one of them after reading Anything For Love, there were a large number of secondary characters in this one, and I am desperate to now start at the beginning and work my way through the authors back catalogue so I can get to know everyone else properly as they all meet and fall in love with their respective partners. It makes me smile seeing the plethora of titles I have to read as well! "I’ve always loved coming home, but I really love coming home to you.". ARC generously provided by the author, and it was my pleasure to provide the above honest review in exchange.

Waiting for a fairy-tale…and not settling for less. I have a great relationship with my hubby. What makes our relationship special is I know what a great hubby I have. What makes our relationship even more special, is he makes it known to me that I’m a great wifey. We are a mutual admiration society…in a good way. We prop each other up when we’re feeling down. I have a great relationship with my hubby. What makes our relationship special is I know what a great hubby I have. What makes our relationship even more special, is he makes it known to me that I’m a great wifey. We are a mutual admiration society…in a good way. We prop each other up when we’re feeling down. Give each other the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth…so help us both. And, defend each other to the death. We can be nauseatingly happy, hold each other’s hands and kiss lots. BUT…we don’t always agree (he "fights" calmly...so annoying), can be a little hormonal (ME), a wee bit stubborn (HIM), and we could do with more money (BOTH of us could work a little harder, but where’s the fun in that). We’re not perfect, but we’re perfectly happy together. I wouldn’t say hubby is my fairy-tale, but I would say that he was what I hoped for in my dreams. I wanted a husband who would love me in the good and bad times, a protector, a lover and a provider. He’s not a fairy-tale because he’s real, makes mistakes and does blokey things that drive me bonkers. Then again, I’m no fairy-tale either. Anyways...I completely understood Charlotte’s need to find the right man and not settle for anything less. Yes, she dreamed of fairy-tales, but you could also tell that she wanted a real life, a real love and a real happy ever after. Charlotte has seen what a real love looks like and she wants the same thing for herself. She’s also lost loved ones and she’s hesitant to open her heart up for it to be trampled and abused. But, she’s got a lot of love to give if she can only find the man to accept her…and her blow up dolls. Beau is a closed-up shell of a man. When he’s begged by his family to help a friend with some building and reno work, it couldn’t have come at a better time. Beau will take any excuse to be away from his hometown and family at this times of the year. This time of the year is a reminder of his biggest mistake and a catastrophic loss. Guilt is his burden to carry and ten years has not lessened his load. Beau feels like he’s not meant for happiness or deserves to have love. It turns out that a fairy…with a blow-up doll and handcuffs, might change everything in his world. I really enjoyed reading Anything for Love. This was my first read by Melissa Foster and it will definitely not be my last. Her writing is the sigh-worthy contemporary romance kind. The heroes aren’t perfect and fight the love-bug initially. They redeem themselves when they realise they found their perfect woman and become possessive, loving and thoughtful. There’s plenty of steamy bits and in this case, we’re treated to a bit of play in the sexy times. It’s not *bring out the whips and chains* more like *experimental fun times*. If I was to complain about anything, I would say that it was a little wordier than what I normally like. In the middle, I found myself getting impatient and wishing they would just get to it already. Sure, I needed their backstory and their getting to know each other stage, but it seemed that Beau’s history took forever to come out. I needed to know sooner why he was such a grumpy bear. I loved that Charlotte was an erotic romance writer and we get to see the research involved in the writing process. I now have romance and erotic authors pictured in my mind, buying blow-up dolls, handcuffs and gadgets to test things out. I may not be able to look another romance or erotic author in the eye again. 😉 I’m so glad I got the opportunity to read and review Anything for Love. I enjoy a lot of different types of romance reads (excluding alien ones with tentacles…shudders) and each has a special time and place in my life. Melissa Foster will be my new go-to author when my hubby does something sweet and I appreciate it. Or, I need a reminder that hubby is capable of doing something sweet. Either way, I’m happy I found Melissa Foster and her sigh-worthy contemporary romances. Stacey is Sassy, received a complimentary copy of this story. Charlotte owned the Sterling House, a rustic Inn, where she stayed hidden away writing her erotic romance series. She was beautiful but also quirky, eccentric, carefree, spontaneous and everything that Beau wasn’t. They were the quintessential opposites in everything. We knew Beau was harboring guilt over losing his first love years ago but we didn’t know the backstory. Foster teased us with it most of the storyline without giving anything up until deep into the book. Equally riveting, Charlotte had lost her parents when she was young and more recently her grandfather, her last living relative. She was alone other than friends. Foster took us through a journey of healing, whimsical fancies, loyal siblings, and hilarious scenes. It was different from others in the series but it had the same underlying forever sweetness mixed in with sexiness that the Love In Bloom books share. All in all, it was entertaining and the perfect backdrop for introducing all of the Bradens that we can expect to see in this series. Next up is Trails of Love featuring the combined families of the Bradens and Montgomery’s for Graham Braden and Morgyn Montgomery; whom we met in book one, Embracing Her Heart.

Charlotte is a riot! She is an erotic romance writer and she lives alone in an inn that was owned by her grandfather before his passing. There were a few times her antics had me laughing out loud, especially when it came to acting out sex scenes using her blow up dolls....yes you read that correctly, she has blow up dolls that are anatomically correct and positions them in the way she is thinking of using in a scene to see if it would work (I bet that made you chuckle didn't it). Anything for love is the second book in The Bradens & Montgomerys (Pleasant Hill - Oak Falls) Series. The series title is a mouthful, but what matters is the inside and that's pretty good. To be honest, when I finished the book I went for the 5-star rating, but now as I am processing things, I feel like 4-stars is the best rating for the book. It had some great qualities like Charlotte and her blow up dolls and it also had some not so good qualities like the zero drama and lack of a wow factor. To say it plainly the food needed more spices and I am not talking about the lovemaking scenes. I feel like something is missing and it's what the book needs in order to be perfect. I cannot say that the writing quality has decreased a lot and I understand that the author cannot always write books that will be perfect to me. This one was good though. I liked Charlotte and Beau's relationship. Their chemistry was amazing and they managed to work in sync. I also liked how Beau was taking care of her and he understood that when she needed to write, she was going to be in her writing room without paying attention to him. He is the ideal partner for her. Charlotte was a lot of fun with her blowup dolls and her habits in general. If she was a person in real life I would want to be her friend.

Where we keep second guessing ourselves as to whether or not we could have done more or do something differently that would have prevented their death. Beau Braden has been carrying that weight on his shoulder for almost a decade. A weight which isolated him from family and friends as he believed they also blamed him for the tragedy. This weight bogged him down to the point where every year on the anniversary he distanced himself further away from his family. This year was no different. He intends to take up a job offer has a reality TV host in LA. However, before he does, he gladly took on a repair job at Sterling Inn on the recommendations of his uncle. What he never expected was the sexy, but conservative Charlotte Sterling who would turn his world inside out. Charlotte Sterling is an erotic romance writer who is suffering a case of writer's block with her current novel. To address this she role-play with blow up dolls and a variety of sex toys. It was during one of her role-plays she came face to face with Beau. I bet you can imagine how that meeting went. (wink). I will tell you this much it had me laughing. Even now as I am writing this review, the memory has me grinning from ear to ear. These two, although opposites are a match made in heaven. Charlotte was looking for the type of love her parents shared. Stuff made of fairy tales. She wants to experience a relationship where intimacy meant something, not just a quick roll in the hay. She thought that kind of love no longer existed, but that was until she met Beau. Beau was not looking for love in any size, shape. However, Charlotte stirred feelings he never expected to experience again. Pain ruled his life. He refuses to let go of the pain from the past. However, Charlotte as a believer of true love and fairy tale endings was determined to show him he could experience love once again. She restored hope and love in his life. Watching them together was such a delight. Their interactions with each other were sweet, heartwarming and hot. They blended into each other’s world and I loved how Beau assisted her in her research with writing a scene. They helped to build each other, which aided in their journey of healing, self-discovery and love. The story was exactly what I expected from Miss Foster. Heartwarming, sweet and steamy, with a focus on family friendships. This was a quick and easy read although there were moments when I found it dragged somewhat. However, this did not prevent me from enjoying the story. Conclusion/Recommendation Once again, Melissa Foster delivered a sweet, sizzling and heartwarming story with relatable characters. Fans of contemporary romance will enjoy this new addition to the Bradens and Montgomery series.

Ok, so he discovers that it is actually Charlotte, enacting scenes for her writing – she is an erotic author and has to get her inspiration from somewhere to make her scenes realistic! From here we and Beau are privy to all of Charlotte’s quirks and for all I love all of Melissa’s book I don’t think any have make me smile and laugh so much than this one did.   Charlotte has lost all her family, and despite being alone she is the most loving, funny and carefree woman just waiting on her own fairy tale romance. Beau still hasn’t gotten over his first love who died in a tragic accident, and only agreed to come and help renovate the Inn to Hal as a favour but also as a means to escape his past and the anniversary of her death back home.   Knowing all that Charlotte has lost he thinks his loss is trivial in comparison but what Charlotte does is bring out the healing his heart needs to become whole again. They are just the best couple and go really well together, from the start the chemistry, laughter and romance is there and despite being opposites, together they can heal each others hurts away.   This is book 2 in The Bradens & Montgomerys series, part of the bigger Love in Bloom series by Melissa, and all her books are amazing as stand alone, but they are utterly wonderful if read as a series.

Each story is complete in itself, but forms part of a whole which is as good as can be. I have to admit that the cameo of Ty and Aiyla (Thrill of Love) had me sobbing ... totally perfect as always. Beau has spent ten years engulfed in guilt and avoiding his family and hometown due to ... well we do find out eventually, but it is a struggle for him to talk about it. In the spirit of avoidance he goes to do some renovations on Charlotte Sterling’s Inn at the request of his brothers. Little does he know what he will find when he gets there. Charlotte is a wonderfully unworldly author who lives mostly with her “props” for her erotic novels, and yes you will laugh at some of the scenes ... and wonder whether your favourite authors also adopt this method of plotting their writing ! As always in a Foster novel, family, friends and an HEA are guaranteed themes, and this is true here too. Sadly Charlotte’s family is all gone, and Beau has been avoiding going home to his. However they still adore him and want him to be happy, so make sure he thinks about what he is doing and why he would deny himself a meaningful relationship even now. As an aside - I loved the description of the Snow White cabin, it sounded absolutely amazing.

One second I’d be cracking up at her Charlotteisms and the next my heart would be melting and the sweetness that lived within her. I can’t even begin to explain what an incredible woman she is. Most importantly though, she’s exactly the woman Beau needed in his life. Right from the first hilariously chaotic meeting she was pulling this isolated broody man into her world filled with hopes, dreams, and fairytales. Even with all the light Charlotte brings there’s still a beautifully emotional depth to their story that completely envelops you in their world. I did everything while reading this. Full on belly laugh, cry, happy sigh, you name it I did it while I was wrapped up in everything about these two!

Charlotte was the ray of light that Beau's dark isolated life needed to come home. And for Charlotte he was more real than the lifesized blow up dolls she used for working though problems. The brought the words on the page to life and gave the characters depth beyond the two dimensional.

Anything For Love is full of humor and chemistry. Anything For Love is my favorite book of The Bradens series. The characters are so easy to love. Charlotte is the best. What a sweet story! I think Beau, for being a man in general, was somewhat quick to get in touch with his feelings and embrace the whole fairytale thing. But who cares! He was a gem! And Charlotte was just a delight. I could have done with some shutting of the door on the bedroom scenes, but I get that Charlotte was an erotic romance writer and so some of it was appropriate to the story. Honestly a lot of it was just funny. The narration by Ava Erickson and Zachary Webber made it even better. This What a sweet story! I had a blast reading this book. There is a wacky heroine, who writes romance novels and barely leaves her property and a brooding, hunky hero trying to run away from his past. The hero is a contractor in charge of fixing up the heroine’s family inn. This book has laughs, Chickendales, Insta love, blowup dolls, and heart. I voluntarily read an early copy.

Ms. Foster books always promise a good emotional romance that you won't be able to put down. Loved their story.

As you might know, I may have a small addiction to romance books and that Melissa Foster is one of my favorite go-to authors because everything she writes has been amazing. Well, she has a new book out called Anything for Love and I was lucky enough to get to read it and share my opinion with you all. I can honestly say this story is my favorite that she has written. All girls dream of a fairytale love story with tons of hot romance and that’s what Beau and Charlotte are. Beau and Charlotte are completely the opposite personalities and people in general. Beau is a strong workaholic who never dreams or fantasizes. He’s been hurt and has loved and lost and can’t come to terms with the guilt he has put on his shoulders and he doesn’t want to even try. He is safe, protective and, of course, a sexy handyman. Charlotte is an erotic romance writer with handcuffs and blowup dolls. She is obvious to others comfort zones or privacy. She is completely open, sensitive and dreams of fairytale endings. She leaves doors open and unlocked and she walks around in whatever she is in to inspire her mind for her books. She is not shy and isn’t afraid to tell you everything and anything. She has no filter. Beau is drawn to her and is baffled how this little disorganized sweet innocent woman walks around without a worry in the world. He wants to protect her but falls head over heels for her and she is able to break his hard locked up guarded walls to the ground. They are perfect together. I love the fairytale feeling of the story but the twist and turns of reality. A knight or prince is out there for all of us and that is amazing. I definitely recommend this book. The lovemaking scenes are hot and the story is addicting. It’s a four stars/ 2 thumbs up from me! Get it today!

As a avid reader of contemporary romance books Foster has hands down won me over after reading Anything For Love. After losing her last living relative Charlotte Sterling moves to her grandfather’s Colorado Mountain inn choosing to spend most of her time alone writing erotic romance novels because the guys she meets don’t compare to the dashing men in her head. However, that all changes when Beau Braden arrives to do some work on the inn. Beau has never quite recovered from losing his first love and continues to carry around a lot of guilt over her death. Doing some work on a secluded mountain inn sounds like exactly the kind of escape Beau needs as the anniversary her death approaches. But, he had no idea what he signed up for after meeting Charlotte. I was completely smitten by Charlotte and Beau’s story. Also, the chemistry between Charlotte and Beau was literally OFF THE CHARTS. I just can’t get over what a perfect combination of heat and romance this story was. Also, I loved how Charlotte’s character was such a romantic. Plus, let’s talk about how swoon worthy Beau is! I was so invested in these characters and I easily fell in love with them both. This series just keeps getting better and I’m looking forward to seeing what Foster is up to in her next installment! 5 STARS for Melissa Foster’s Anything For Love

Both Charlotte and Beau had their own baggage – similar, yet different – that they both handled differently, but I feel they also helped each other deal and heal with it years later after the fact. As typical of Melissa Foster men; Beau was the big bad muscle man who wouldn’t let anyone in, but Charlotte was able to melt his walls and their connection was amazing – even from the start. (Beware, you will smile to yourself like a goofball because their shared moments were cute and quirky and fun – even for a big bad muscle man!) As always, I am a huge fan of anything by Melissa Foster and her romance stories are just what the doctor ordered. All of the books can be read as a stand alone, but personally; I prefer reading them all because we get to check in with different family members as the stories continue and this one was no different! (This story took us back to some of our original Braden’s that I have missed ever so much!) I will never not recommend a Melissa Foster book. It’s just not possible because with each new book, I fall more in love with her writing and her characters!

I've been reading the Love in Bloom series from Melissa Foster for quite some time now. I actually have a tag for it on this blog I read so many of these books. One of Beau's Colorado family rented out some rooms and created a bit of a mess. Beau was asked to come over and fix the few things. He walks in and starts making a list of everything that he will do until he hears noises behind a door - noises of a sexual nature. Charlotte is an erotic romance writer and acts out scenes with inflatable dolls. That is the noise Beau had heard but he can't believe it. When he gets settled in, he starts spending more time with Charlotte. He hears about her childhood at this house. He also wants to make everything perfect, like it was back in her childhood, for her. The way the two of these people come together to help each other heal from their pasts is spectacular. I love books set in the mountains because that is where I live, not in Colorado but in the mountains. Melissa Foster has written another fantastic book. Pick up a copy of Anything for Love and have a great read. I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

These two totally compliment each-other, and bring out the best in one another. Their journey of finding their HEA is one i will remember for a while and that's the best part of reading books. It was a sweet funny read, a bit emotional but overall 100% sexy and enjoyable. A definite #MustRead for all Romance Lovers out there!!!

I wasn’t sure about the chemistry between Charlotte and both at first, but my opinion quickly changed as the novel evolved and the characters each revealed more about themselves. Charlotte was such a sweet, innocent, caring person - whom you would never have guessed was also an erotic romance writer! The storyline was so unique and different compared to other novels I’ve read, and I remain in awe of this amazing author that she just continues to crank out new and exciting ideas. The woman is a machine! Her writing is flawless and she has an uncanny ability to pull her readers into the story and make them feel as if they are right there with the characters. Anything for Love is different, nostalgic, special, and at times, almost magical. As like her other novels, this can be read without reading the first in the series, it will still all make sense. Whether you are a loyal fan of Melissa Foster or have not yet read her wonderful books, this is a definite must-read that will leave you feeling hopeful with a very happy heart.
