Another great book, but once again, less ending than I’d have liked. The author really knows how to write well, but there was one big plot hole at the end of the book that he never closed. Either way, a great book.

Can’t wait I said in my review of the first book in this series that I was afraid of it just being a rehash of Survival Wars. I was right and wrong. The whole premise is the same in theory, but James is putting a fresh spin on it with this series. I’m pleased and amazed that he pulled it off. I didn’t even want to take the time to leave a review, but I know how I depend on them. Now on to book 4.
Suki Rickey –
Book 3 Book 3 had errors throughout. The overall story was okay. The plot and characters are interesting and not a well written as book 2. The characters had a lot of nuances that where annoying at times. The plot was still okay and mostly well done. I do look forward to book 4.

When it rains it pours From start to finish this was an amazing tale. I was enthralled and I couldn't put it down. Action that made my heart beat faster and characters that I could care about. I think this is becoming my favorite military sci-fi action series. When it rains it pours From start to finish this was an amazing tale. I was enthralled and I couldn't put it down. Suki Rickey has written a review that is very much worth reading. This book is standard fare. There are no strong female characters, the background universe is Halo simple and just as complete. In short, it is a boys adventure. It is not high fiction but it appeals to some depending on mood or age, I imagine. Claes Rees, Jr would enjoy this book, it has explosions, no bossy women and an all american cast. For an explanation of my seeming disinterest, see my review of the "Powers of the Earth", w Suki Rickey has written a review that is very much worth reading. This book is standard fare.
