The problem with an open-and-shut murder case is that sometimes, you can’t shut the case fast enough before something weird gets out… The autumn equinox should be about balance, reflection, and an ordering of one’s life. Celebration, harvest, and completion. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Not for Bron, a traditional Welsh hedge witch. The only thing she’s harvesting is trouble. The recent tragic killing of a local woman is apparently quickly solved, only to spiral out of control when the magic behind her life continues to leak out into this world. The killer flees to the land of the Fair Folk and only Maddie has the skills to follow – but only Bron can bring them to justice. Meanwhile Great Aunt Dilys seems to be collecting newspapers, Sian is the victim of ongoing sabotage, and Bron’s desperately trying to pretend that Adam is nothing more than a good friend. Sometimes you have to lose someone to appreciate what you had. And then it’s too late. Too late? At the equinox, even time is flexible…

Book 6 is my favorite of the series thusfar. The Celtic lore is front and center in a way that I enjoy, the characters behave rationally and it’s an interesting mystery.

Good book, I like it rather more than book 5. Characters have got their act to together and there is plenty of interest from the Celtic myth angle.

Wonderful as always These books are so wonderfully real, merging this world and the Other as seamlessly as you know it must really be. It takes you for a walk inside the world of a real magical person, and introduces you to Wales and a small Welsh village all at once.

Don't think this is all light hearted stuff, they are chasing murderers and nasties with the help of others, including a local policeman Adam. He and Bron provide a gentle romance. Personally I really love Cosy Mysteries, they provide a really good read without too much heavy nastiness, this series is an excellent example of a good Cosy Mystery............ Sue P

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books... 1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future. 2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author. 3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up. 4 sta Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books... 1 star... Love this series Can hardly wait for the next! This has become my favorite series. Each book is delightful. The characters are so interesting and it's become a world finish I visit. Even so, it's a great read with a nice q Miliband a cup of tea. I like the twist in the story line. There seems to be no part of the book that gets boring and require some me to power thru bbc.co it, no every part of the book is interesting and flows along , weaving a most delightful story of magic and humanity. Adoration for Mollie Milligan I have enjoyed all of the previous books in this series throughly and book six did not disappoint. The characters are real and the relationship developments between the characters are skillfully woven into the story line. Add to that the history and folklore of Wales and it equals a delightful read.

Fantastic series This is the first witch series I've ever read. It's a beautiful world that I am learning about. To pronounce Welsh correctly, to learn about Wales, but most of all to be friends with the vibrant characters in the village. And the best part is that I am learning about different kind of witches. Great continuinty The Celtic Witch series continues to enchant as Bron & Maddie develop their powers. But a spanner in the works occurs when the Car get involved with human justice. At the end, Maggie has visa problems and must go back to the U.S. Will she return and what will Bron do until then? Why is Great Aunt Sikhs so depressed? I can't wait till the next adventure. Great Series! All of the books in the series are terrific, and I think I like this one the best. A very involved story with lots of interesting detail, and a good end to the main and lesser details of the plot. I enjoyed it very much!

What fun! I can't wait for the next book in the series. At least I hope there will be more. I usually content myself with free books but I was so enthralled with the first one, which was free, that I promptly bought the other five. What fun! I can't wait for the next book in the series. And the Connection Is? How do you get from point A to point Z? From the murder to the murderer? From the runes in the closet to the killer in quod? That is the story Milligan tells in this masterful reinterpretation of Celtic mythology.

Fall into murder Murder has come to town and things are crazy. It is the fall equinox and time moves differently. Old tales and myths abound and thanks to an unlikely source justice will be served.
