This was definitely not what I expected. Maybe because I wasn't aware that it's #8 in a series and usually by this point this type of books rely more on story than sex to sell. Still I expected a lot more sexy times considering that it's a reverse harem book. While short on sex scenes the story was very well developed. I loved the fact that it doesn't take place in a couple of days - the attraction is there from the get go but it takes them months for the female lead to develop feelings for her This was definitely not what I expected. I also liked that there was no "cheating" when learning the alien tongue, she had to learn it the old fashioned way. For this alone I was tempted to give this book a 5 stars rating but while it's a great read it wasn't a mindblowing one. A nice way to spend a few hours so if you like the alien smut genre give it a try.

This one was great. A different group of hunters find Piper, just as she comes out of her stasis pod to find no one around at the wrecked portion of the spaceship she was in. The four take care of her and save her life numerous times. Lots of action and a good HEA. This is a menage story, with all that entails, but I love them.

Great read! Loved all the characters and how their relationship grew. A really good example of a reverse harem story. Would have liked a bit more at the end.

I borrowed this book, as several authors that I follow have been mentioning this project for the last couple of weeks. I really wanted to love this story and this author but I felt this book was really missing something. There is really no background on Piper except that she is sick and has been in stasis. Why would a sick person immediately leave the only shelter around and not even scavenge for helpful items to walk across a desert? The continual pop culture references detract from the story and at times are irritating. The language barrier was a nice touch but after Piper actually learns the dragons names, she calls some by their real name and others by the name she gave them. There is a good plot that could have been so much better with some more attention to world building and character development. Overall, it is a little confusing to follow but does have a decent plot even with the major plot holes. This is definitely one of those books that I am glad I borrowed and did not purchase (even at 99¢, I would have been disappointed).

Cute It was a cute short read. Since the story was short it lacked some details like how she was able to be totally fluent in their language after a few weeks. But if you just want a light read with a good ending and yummy aliens then this is a good book to read.

Well. . . Not sure quite what to say. Overall, an interesting plot. Girl on a long space trip in a statist pod, oh yeah she is dying with cancer. When she comes too, she is on a desert planet found by four dragon men who are all really sexy and want her. We never learn if they have families or why they are there. But they do have the cure. And lots of Dragon sex. This is not my taste in fantasy.

While the others feature interacting stories, this one does not, so while it may be more enjoyable to read it in order, it is not required by any means. This story is about Piper who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She had fought it for some time before agreeing to be placed inside a stasis pod. This would hopefully allow her to be awoken when a cure for found. Unfortunately she wakes up in the pod, but quickly realizes that there is no one there and she is stuck inside the ship which has crashed. Even though she doesn't feel like moving at all, she just can't stay there and give up; not in her DNA to quit. So she extracates herself from the pod and ship, to start walking across the ocean of red sand. It doesn't take but a few steps for her to accept that she is just not equipped to deal with the conditions of whichever planet she landed on. There are two suns and both are draining energy she didn't have to begin with. Then she sees something on the horizon that turns out to be two dragon like men equipped with horns, wings, scales and tails, all of which they needed to survive the harsh environment. Quickly they kind of fight over her, but then take turns caring and protecting her until they are reunited with two more of their kind. All of them are protective and fighting for her attention, but how is a girl supposed to choose between four hot alien dragon men ... I don't want to accidentally provide any spoilers or twists, so I am going to stop there.

After a long time, she sees two dragon men coming towards her. She is so weak and has been falling a lot that when one of them picks her up she is grateful. While being attacked by strange spider/scorpion creatures, two more men come. They take her to their home, but seem to be arguing with each other over her. They don't speak the same language so it is hard to communicate. Mikhos is the peace maker, Kaidan is the egotistical one, Ender is always teasing, and Angus is the darker and quieter one. This story is all told from Piper's prospective. She has to learn their language and keep them from fighting. They in turn all take care of her and protect her from harm, while they search for the episs plant to try to heal her. This is a great story of love and friendship developing over time between all f them. I think this is the best reverse harem book that I have read so far.

I thought that this book was pretty good, at least character-wise. The plot left something to be desired, though. There were several plot holes big enough for me to spot, and that's really not something I'm good at noticing. 1. Where were all of their families? I managed to get 50% through this despite the constant pop culture references that made no sense and the fact that there is no dialogue at all but the heroine still manages to hop into bed with four guys immediately. By the time we'd had four scenes where she explains how to pronounce her name over and over I was pretty much done. The heroine is interesting, but I couldn't keep any of the guys straight and didn't know a damn thing about them other than they look weird and grunt a lot. This is the eighth book in the Red Planet Dragons of Tajss Series, and while it does not have the usual characters from the rest of the series it does still have the sexy dragon men. I’m not a huge fan of Reverse Harem books, I think it’s truly impossible to make that setup work realistically, however I do love the world MM has created and I really enjoyed this little side trip she took (I was starting to get fed up with the idiotic humans vs anti-alien humans on the aliens own planet) so this was a sweet trip into a world I loved and really on that world a girl needs all the protection she can get.

Sweet, sweet story I mentioned to Miranda that after the first few RH stories, they just weren't that interesting. The first ones were more reading to see how it would play out physically ! I should have realized that she would make her story so full of caring and sweetness that turned out to be more of a love story than a 'jump and hump' menage. I loved it. Thoroughly enjoyed this book! I actually read it all night. It was nice to have a standalone RH for once and to not be left hanging. The world concept I thought was well planned and set. too good this story was sooo good it ended way to soon. i would have enjoyed seeing her have half a dozen dragon babies, maybe a set of twins. they should have gone to the city to see why she was so very big in her third pregnancy. or they could have met with someone from the tribe and followed them to there home. really good story 👍!

Another sleepless night I swear I told myself I wasn't going to start this book but after it appeared on my kindle I couldn't help it. Now its 7am and I just finished it! Its one of my fav desert dragon books so far. Can't wait for the next installment. Snappy and snarky I loved this book. H was smart; her thoughts as she worked through her situation were hilarious, snappy and downright snarky!!! Dragons were heroes in their own way as they worked together to save Piper countless times. Very fun read. Very sexy romance.
