This book is divided into four parts : Childhood with yellow color dominating the illustrations Love with pink color dominating the illustrations Her with blue color dominating the illustrations Hope with green color dominating the illustrations and they're all so cute. I rarely like reading poetry but this one is quite intriguing and sweet. "What if Love is gravity Dragging her feet Downward to uncertainty Making her forget How to fly?" --- Yu Yessi Lesmana, The Petite World Surprisingly good and honestly to my liking. I'd almost had myself convinced that I would never like this kind of poetry written by an indonesian author. The last books were enjoyable but never memorable, which frustrated me because I wanted so bad to like books written by indonesian writers. I tried to read this with a low expectation, but I am surprised to find that "What if Love is gravity Dragging her feet Downward to uncertainty Making her forget How to fly?" --- Yu Yessi Lesmana, The Petite World Surprisingly good and honestly to my liking. The last books were enjoyable but never memorable, which frustrated me because I wanted so bad to like books written by indonesian writers. I tried to read this with a low expectation, but I am surprised to find that the poems are actually decent. They're sad, filled with longing but not so much that they turn into emotional manipulation like many of indonesian books do. What makes me happier is the fact that I think the writing and the illustration of this book are well matched. I don't know why the title says "a poetry art book" because I think it's more of an illustrated story book than a poetry art book since the girl is the same girl over and over. There are chapters! Which is nice because each chapters tells a different stage of the girl's life. It's well planned and well written. From the poems you can see the reason why she is the way she is and what she becomes. My favorite part though : THE ILLUSTRATION. The color scheme, man. I think I want to marry the art. And the writing, of course, but the art is so good I can't even. The nicest thing about it is how the poem and the illustration complements each other. It's perfect. Overall, I recommend this book. It's not depressing (which is my usual alley) but it has enough sadness to make you feel something.

I really love most of the poetries in this book. It is not a compilation of random poetries into one, but they managed to make the poetry into one storyline. It is light, emotional, relatable and dreamy at the same time. So, even though I have finished reading the whole book, I am still able to read the poetry again randomly. I think it is a good companion book for you to read while waiting on the bus or train or in a car, the size of this book is also not too big. Disayangkan gue nggak bisa suka bukunya (apalagi kata-kata yang dibilang puisi). Masalah selera aja neh, Qa. Tambahan satu bintang buat ilustrasinya yang bagus.

Growth. I think that's what the book focused on. It is a poetry art book about a girl and her journey of personal growth. So rather than a compilation of poetry, it's more like a story written in the form of poetry and I love it. It consists of four chapters which are Childhood, Love, Her, and Hope. I think the poems in every chapter portrays the theme of each chapter beautifully. Besides the poems, the illustrations are gorgeous. It captures every feeling that the poems suggest and it did that Growth. I think that's what the book focused on. It is a poetry art book about a girl and her journey of personal growth. I have to admit, some of the poems were not for me, but I think it's just a personal preference and as a whole I think it's a beautiful book. My favorite poems from this book is Fallen Tree, Scars, and Fireflies.

"Eyes can't see everything but hope can" Suka kombinasi puisi dan ilustrasinya. Bought this book because I love Kathrin Honesta's work. It's a beautiful full-colour book, and while I only loved a couple of the poems, I loved all the illustrations.
