Delightful picture book about a man who always says yes to everything causing him emotional difficulties and problems. Eventually an incident happens to cause him to say no and life gets easier An original Spanish language book translated into English and whose message crosses over very well. A marvelous book I just loved.

Every have the trouble of saying "no" to people? Mr. Yes suffers from the answer of yes. Journey with him as he realizes that he can say no, and it is okay. Great lesson for kids - I loved the paper that this book was printed on. Every have the trouble of saying "no" to people? Mr. Yes suffers from the answer of yes. The art is strange, but interesting, and the plot has a good message about being able to say no. It is unique, and I liked that it was an adult man who had to learn to set boundaries.

The story was ok - lessons on how to say ‘no’ - but the “paper” the words were printed on was fabulous! Like none I’ve ever experienced before.

Do you have a child who caves in and says "yes" to the bully? "Yes" to the trickster? "Yes" to the one who takes advantage? If so, this book offers some helpful advice. Mr. Yes can do a lot of things. One thing he can't do well is say 'no.' The illustrations were weird, but there is a good little story here. Mr. Yes can do a lot of things. One thing he can't do well is say 'no.' The illustrations were weird, but there is a good little story here.

Really enjoyed this book. It was a bit jumbled and all over the place, but it had such a great moral (even if it was kind of out of the blue): His friends could trust that his yes really meant yes once he started to say no.
