Who can resist a cute baby on the cover of a book? #cutecover. #babymadness. #iwantababynow. #babyfever. #justkidding. Clean romance. Cute cover. That's about it. Hero and heroine drove me mad. No mention if both have been celibate after meeting. Who can resist a cute baby on the cover of a book? #cutecover. #babymadness. #iwantababynow. #babyfever. #justkidding. Clean romance. Cute cover. I really liked the story and the characters although there was one I wouldn't have minded smacking a time or two. This was my first experience with 'The McIntyre Men' series. I have read the six Oklahoma Brands books with Vidalia and her daughters and really enjoyed them. This book was set in a small town where everyone knows their neighbor and family is very important. There are quite a few people in this book from the community that I am sure I will enjoy getting to know as I begin 'The McIntyr I really liked the story and the characters although there was one I wouldn't have minded smacking a time or two. This was a sweet Christmas read about a couple who hit it off one night and have a ONS before the hero ships out to Afghanistan (unbeknownst to the heroine) that turns into the loves of their lives as they await their first child. Just what I love to read about!

A total keeper I loved this book. I loved the H and I totally loved the heroine too. It was such a perfect story. Was there angst, oh yeah and there were years and there was laughter. I wish I loved in Big Falls and I wish i was part of the McIntyre family. They were so amazing. This book starts out with a one night stand and ends in forever after. The H is deployed the next day but little does he know he left a memory behind. And nine months later they meet again and she is ready to pop!!! It wa A total keeper I loved this book. It was a little touch and go at first and I was so mad at how he reacted but the rest of the book was magic. Santa Claus makes an appearance and you can feel the emotions of her nephew little Jack and the H. I can't recommend this book enough. And it's totally safe. I love this author. I just hope we get her sister Angie 's story and her lost or dead husband Jack and I want Adams story too. Not as much. He was a jerk. And I just pray that they are safe stories too. I hope she is planning them to have HEA's with the right people!!!Please?????

This story is short, fast paced and festive. This book is the first book of Maggie Shayne and Jessica Lewis’s that I have read. Because of this, I wasn’t sure on what to expect. I needn’t have worried though. I found the writing style easy to follow, the story heart warming and the characters likeable. I liked Allie. I liked that she had bettered herself. Her family thought of her as the black sheep but she wasn’t. Her family wasn’t mean to her it was just obvious that they didn’t have much fait This story is short, fast paced and festive. Her family thought of her as the black sheep but she wasn’t. Her family wasn’t mean to her it was just obvious that they didn’t have much faith in her. Especially her brother, Adam. I didn’t like the way Adam talked about Allie and they attitude he had at times towards her. I truly wanted him to have faith in his baby sister. I had mixed feelings on Logan. I liked him but he annoyed me when he continued to question the paternity of Allie’s baby (his baby). As the story progressed and Logan and Allie spent more time together, I wanted them to become a couple. I wanted Allie to put her fears and stubbornness aside and give love a chance. The chemistry between Logan and Allie was clear to see. I was satisfied with the ending of this story. My heart ached for Jack and his Santa theory/hope. He wanted an impossible Christmas gift. No matter whom he told or how good he was, he wouldn’t ever get his wish of having his father back. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable festive read.

Always enjoyable.

I love Maggie Shayne, her books always pull me in and make me feel at home. This one was no exception. Allie and Logan meet in a bar, by accident! And then don’t see each other until 9 months later at the airport where Allie is meeting her brother! The recognition and chemistry between them is still alive and only builds as they finally get to know each other. You find yourself rooting for them to admit their chemistry and admit that this is their child! Great story Loved this story. It is very hard for our military families to stay together with their long separations and the women never knowing if their husband will ever come home from a mission. All they have is communicating between them and really loving each other and trusting. This book portrays that very well.

The book has its cute moments but both bugged me. However the heroine bugged me more than him. Mostly because she kept trying to convince the hero to walk away from his child. I didn’t like that. The nephew was precious. Her sisters story is a tear jerker. I hope she gets a book.

Allie & Logan start out rough, and things get complicated when Logan comes home with his C.O. & best friend and learns not only who Allie really is, but has a HUGE surprise coming. I enjoyed this, and look forward to hopefully more in these series!
