This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. The first books that I read by this author were his Destroyer series. If I had not read Destroyer, I never would have touched any of this author’s books. Without familiarity with the author had someone told me that Star Justice featured a weretiger and a psychic space vampire/witch I never would have touched a book from this series. King Killer starts out a few hours later, after the end of the previous book. The action starts quickly. Adam and the ladies back on the space station rescuing Juliet The first books that I read by this author were his Destroyer series. Adam and the ladies back on the space station rescuing Juliette yet again. I still do not care for the Juliette character, but then in the last book I did not care for the Prime Valkyrie either. If Juliette joins the crew, and the character is developed more, I might like Juliette. Juliette’s damsel in distress act and constantly hitting on Adam is tiresome, unprofessional, and beneath her. It is hard to enjoy a book when you cannot give a crap about the characters. In one recent book I felt bad for the cat; the rest of the characters could go hang themselves. Adam is back to his badass furry self blowing everyone away with his combat shotgun while faithfully acting as an eight-foot tall bullet magnet. I do agree with other reviewers that it appears Adam went beast mode where he knew furry was going to be at a marked disadvantage, but did it anyway. The beast in Adam is gaining more control. The beast slipping his control might be why Adam went beast mode early and often, when it would have been better to remain in human form rather than go fuzzy. It was also interesting to see that Eve has already taken steps just in case the beast slips Adam’s control. As the beast in Adam already wants to claim Juliette and both twins, I foresee that they eventually join Adam’s somewhat crowded bed. Nice to see Madalena out of resting bitch face, making nice (or at least attempting to) with Adam’s other bedmates. I liked the better described sex in this book cementing the fact that Eve and Zea are lovers as well as Adam’s lovers. I had assumed that Eve and Zea were lovers. It was nice reading that when they were captured by slavers, Eve and Zea were comforting each other. Adam confirms that the three have made love in every MFF combination imaginable, so it was no stretch imagining the women as lovers. Sex sells books. Unlike other books filled with gratuitous sex aimed more at erotica rather than story building, the sex in the Star Justice series moves the plot while offering insights into the characters. This author does a good job with the sex scenes in his books while not straying into prurient waters and overdoing it. There is a fine line between enough sex moving the plot entertaining readers and gratuity where readers skip paragraphs getting back to fuzzy mercenary-decimating Adam with his shotgun. The sex (so far) in the Star Justice series has not been as descriptive as in the Destroyer series. I would not mind a little more and better described sex in the Star Justice series, as I trust this author not to screw it up by drifting into the realm of Penthouse Letters. In later books it will be fascinating to see if the Prime Valkyrie swings both ways. If all of the women jump in his bed poor Adam may have to stock up on erection drugs or have Kasta give him a lot more catnip. Since the Prime Valkyrie’s culture allows men and women multiple husbands and wives, I wonder what would happen if the Prime Valkyrie decides she wants another husband. Like most alpha males, Adam is probably strictly heterosexual. If Madalena wants two hot, sexually flexible men in bed, she probably needs to find a pair not including Adam. I can envision how well Adam would take another man in bed with his women imagining the ensuing carnage. We get to see some of Adam’s backstory in this book which I enjoyed. Also, some good foreshadowing of events and characters possible in future books. I wondered about Adam’s sister as when he deserted the Jupiter Marines joining the Yakuza; one of his requirements was that the Yakuza would look out for his mother and sister. It appears that his sister was taken care of by working for the Yakuza. I half wondered if Adam’s sister did not realize that Adam is her brother when she contracted the mercenaries fetching Adam and Eve. Adam has changed a lot since he deserted, went to prison, and became a lab rat on a string. I first thought that perhaps Adam’s sister did not recognize him. Then I thought Adam and his family are not stupid, so maybe she does realize who Adam is trying to help him return home, which is why she offered such a ridiculous fee for a simple snatch job. I am hoping that in later books we will see more of Adam’s back story. In King Killer we learn that Adam’s sister is still alive; I am hoping that his mother is alive as well. A trip to Ganymede might happen if the Yakuza have twisted Adam’s sister or failed to care for his family. After the SAVO are taken care of Adam and Eve returning to Ganymede with blood in their eyes could be a really interesting development. If Adam’s sister does not have Adam’s best interests at heart, Eve could put a real beat down on his sister if she is trying to hurt Adam. Eve is highly protective of Adam and she has shown just how much she will protect those she loves. I do not believe that we have seen the whole extent of Eve’s powers. I believe later books will reveal that Eve is much more powerful than what we have seen. It has been entertaining seeing Adam react as a normal great cat, earlier chasing a red laser pointer and now highly susceptible to catnip. The great cats for some reason react strongly to catnip, perhaps because it is something that is not common in their native ranges. The way the naughty twin uses catnip was entertaining. Naughty twin nearly pulled off her stunt as Eve (I believe) cannot read her mind. The fly in naughty twin's ointment is that Eve is highly tuned to Adam’s mind. I liked how the final battle played out. Again, we see the stupidity of vanity, and that even though you have the most badass armor and weapons, a simple thing will still kill you. I am looking forward to the next book seeing what mess Adam and his women are dunked in next.

I finally DNF'd a book in the series. MC has a perfectly useful means of getting rid of the slaving trash, just tell her to literally go kill herself, book tells me this will work. But oh no, nono, can't have a spine. Gotta go the Sword of Truth route and bloody forgive the enemy. The only character that even mildly expresses some discomfort about the literal enslavement of the MC is Zea, and she gets put firmly in her place by Eve, since you know, wanting to bang a dude that's taken is the EXAC I finally DNF'd a book in the series. Great stuff.

Well it seems we have an agreement Boiled down this book was about everyone coming together as a team and not fighting or competing with one another whether for Adam, as a warrior or even as family. Big shocker finding out who was behind another attack on Queen’s Hat and even Juliette was captured..but there is still a question of why? Cyborg twin got creative and found out Catnip works on Tigermen lol, and we also know laser pointers they will chase as well..but at the very end bad news arrived Well it seems we have an agreement Boiled down this book was about everyone coming together as a team and not fighting or competing with one another whether for Adam, as a warrior or even as family. The Cat is out of the bag...or a Cat a Pult of a surprise lolol Adam owes Zea 10 spa days for it as well. Cat Puns and Kitty Man jokes aside our hero is in grave danger 😫 And yet while everyone is almost on the same page I think the coming of the Vampire Parasites will help pull everyone together. There were a lot of fights and negotiations and putting Pride aside for Love & Honor. That’s all folks let’s dive into Book 8

An awesome new Adventure The character development for Maddalena was great, how she went from cold stoic warrior to respecting Eve and Z. I also kinda wish the fight between Adam and the Cash clan King was longer but the fight was still awesome. All in all, King Killer by Michael- Scot Earle was a great addition to the Star Justice series.

MORE, PLEASE!! I have read the entire series in order over four days. Does that tell you how much I loved it? The Prime Valkye is a very interesting character as she struggles to enter a human world beyond her experience and to develop the ability to interact. The author always shows an excellent pace and I find myself staying up to read further. What more can you say about a book?

Just too much bitchy sniping to withstand I thought Burning Bright was the low point in this series, I hoped that was a one off error, but no (sigh) it's back and killing my love for Star Justice in King Killer. Space and physics, as we know it. Mostly liked it. The only big issue I had was with the space fight scene where the crew felt gravitational pulls within their ship. But they shouldn't have felt a gravitational pull during space fights. The theory is that the ship is creating a gravitational field, therefore only a larger outside gravitational pull would affect the crew in the ship. Better and Better If you grew up reading SF&F with large doses of pulp action (like I did) then you will love the combination the author provides in these stories. If you enjoy great editing, and distinct characters that only get richer and better as each book comes out, then you will also love these stories. Most of all though - and the mark of any great author - is the fact that you can’t wait to see what happens next. Highly Recommended! King Killer, the seventh book is the Star Justice series, is an action packed adventure with Adam the tiger man and his entourage of hot, tough women including a vampire, a brilliant hacker, an incredible warrior, and very human robot. This book should please those who have read and enjoyed the other books in the series. The ending, while not a cliffhanger, will have readers eager for the next installment. Good, but not quite as good I really like this series although I did feel this latest book was not quite up to the usual entertaining standard. And I guess it all depends what you like, because there is still plenty of fighting and excitement - however I am pretty much over this guy thinking it is okay to sleep with every woman in sight, and what is worse, every woman in sight thinking that's okay as long as they get to have their little bit of him. Sorry shame The premise of the storyline has tremendous potential unfortunately the author is mired in his own sexual fantasies. Sex has a time and place but the constant sexual escapades of male character tends to objectify and demean women. The target market for this book should be between 12 and 14 years of age. The further you get in this series the worse it gets.

Continues to please At the heart of all this is enjoyment. The author lets his inner self run rampant among the pages of this series and every single line is... pleasing. The story seems to write itself effortlessly from the lives of the, often times envied, main characters. That, if nothing else, should capture your attention and likely your devotion as it has mine.

Go Adam!!!!!!! As good of not better in some ways as the 6 before it. I enjoy all the action, but do feel that there should be moving towards more storyline on their past or history somewhat. I mean shoot'em up and sex is great. But some more development of the different characters and race backgrounds would be nice. Go Adam!!!!!!! As good of not better in some ways as the 6 before it. DNF 50% the book was good except for the never ending arguments, tension and drama over every woman wanting Adam, the MC, as their love and now there is some big orgy thing going on between the women and I just wanted to puke. I have liked this series since the first one came out. But, you've taken a turn somewhere and don't know it or you just haven't caught it yet. I'd like more on finding out about Persephone and the quest. There's too much personal relationships, and not enough figuring out the myths and such. I love you anyway.
