My rating: 4 promising flowers ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ I liked this little short story! The Quest for the Thunderstone focuses on just that - how Nath and Brenwar goes out to find the Thunderstone. It is a short, yet well-written story part of a larger series. The characters are nicely portrayed with clear personalities, and you get plenty of backstory despite the limited page count. I also enjoyed the world-building presented amongst the pages. It does make me intrigued and I will likely read more from this se My rating: 4 promising flowers ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ I liked this little short story! I like the idea and the characters, not sure if I'll continue on though. I like the idea and the characters, not sure if I'll continue on though.

Really good short story to introduce me to the author and the series. For a short story it was well written, the pace was good, and kept me entertained and interested enough to finish it and want to read more. A good fantasy story.

Exciting adventure I appreciated that this story was stand-alone. The sneak peak of the book after it is almost longer than the actual story, but we found out enough to get intrigued, I suppose. I hadn’t read any of this author’s works before, and the story itself was a fun adventure.

If I'd known before hand that this was from a larger series them I probably wouldn't have read it out of context. May reread this again later on when I've read some of the series but for now thought it was ok. I enjoyed the story overall, but in the end it won't be memorable. I enjoyed the story overall, but in the end it won't be memorable.

Too short I prefer a much longer story but it was nice to see that Nath and Brenwar are still having fun and look forward to reading more about them.
