I don't know if I would have enjoyed this nearly as much if I didn't know Seattle. But it was also fun to see my son starting connecting the clues. A good easy read for the grades 2-3 set, and lots more of them. I was inspired to get the original in which they actually live in a boxcar for awhile. Not the best... But then again we jumped wayyyy into the series before reading the first book. This one was given to us, but I wish we had gone in order.

This book was a five star book but it is also a one star book because there was no mystery. It actually had a mystery to it, but it wasn't that good. It had a mystery but the mystery was all planned out. It was just a fake mystery. But it was still a super good book. New comment: I changed my mind about the old comment. This book is actually a five star book, there is no mystery to it. But it was kind of fun taking a break from mysteries. One of my favorite childhood series. I read over a hundred of them. The first 50 or so were in order; after that I read whatever book I could get my hands on :) This one was a favorite. It had riddles again!!

I like this book this book because I like mysteries. It is about four children who solve mysteries. They go on a business trip when they find a note stuck to a table at the Hungry Heart Diner. In the end they get a surprise.

After reading this book with my son he wants to go to Seattle to see the Troll. It was fun to read about beloved characters in a real place.

I was not at all surprised by the mystery.

The kids had fun trying to guess the answers to the clues.

Written in the standard Boxcar Children style. Fun to see a book taking place in Seattle.

Leif and I read this as part of our move, then the last weekday before school we went to all the landmarks in the book that we hadn't seen. It was a fun part of the transition! The Boxcar Children, a.k.a the Aldens, are in a vacation in Seattle where something mysterious and suspenseful comes their way.

I just loved this book. I read it as a child but recently read it to my nephew. Fun read for children.
