    The Law of Attraction and Gratitude shares how being positive and being a negative person attracts that exact response. When positive thoughts and words are used, then positive results occur. This book goes a long way to provide examples and case studies. The gratitude section reinforces how being grateful for the good things, the positive people, and the blessings that occur in life creates an atmosphere for more good. This was a good look at how it works in real lives.

It tries to explain that everything that is happening to us solely depends on how we perceive the world and what “kind’’ of energy we send to the Universe. For example, if we live a life without gratefulness for everything we have, if we are constantly negative about everything around us, things will not be so good for us because we will attract negative energy from the Universe. What I like about this book is that it touches some definitely interesting aspects of human/Universe/God relationship (even though the word “God’’ and the aspect of him as a Creator is never mentioned). Being in a positive or negative state of mind/soul and thus attracting everything that corresponds with these emotions or states of being is definitely an interesting perspective on how our lives are lived. However, some of the things in the book are left unexplained and cryptic. For example, according to this book, all it takes for a person to get what she wants in her life is to wish for it and to be positive about it. It does not matter whether that something is good or bad. If I wish for it and if I am positive about it, I will get it. How that sounds to you? Some will say “well, yeah, look at the politicians and all those “bad’’ people, they are all rich and wealthy and powerful and I wanna be like that.’’ Although the book touches on some interesting aspects of human existence, the only thing the book does is that it offers an incomplete and flawed definition of humans and their purpose and role in the Universe.

    As you can probably guess, The Law of Attraction and Gratitude is a self help book based on the idea that if we are grateful for what we have rather than focusing on what we don't have we will be happier. If we are happier, it seems logical to say that we will be more positive and that positivity put out into the world can and will attract more positivity to our lives. With that positivity comes, you guessed it, more to be happy about therefore restarting the cycle. The author, Avinash Singh, sta As you can probably guess, The Law of Attraction and Gratitude is a self help book based on the idea that if we are grateful for what we have rather than focusing on what we don't have we will be happier. If we are happier, it seems logical to say that we will be more positive and that positivity put out into the world can and will attract more positivity to our lives. With that positivity comes, you guessed it, more to be happy about therefore restarting the cycle. The author, Avinash Singh, states that the first step in this process is to take stock of one's self by way of a five minute exercise consisting of staring one's self down in the mirror.I suppose it is a logical first step and the rest of the book flows along in rather the same matter of fact manner. There are case studies explored of actual people and their experiences related to the ideas presented in the book. Overall this is a plain language guide to not being a cry baby and taking responsibility for the state of your life now and in the future.

This book is a self help book and the universe and how it affects our lives. If all you have are negative thoughts and that is what you send into the universe that is all you are going to get back. But if you think positively good things will happen to you and around you.     What I appreciate most about this book is the focus on your attitude and being grateful. Often times I find these books can be misleading and promise the miracle cure for all your problems. I did not so much get this vibe from the book. It seemed much more focused on changing your thoughts and focus. More encouraging you to look at the silver lining and the situation won’t seem so bad. Making everything a little bit better and more manageable bit by bit. I can totally get on board with this sort What I appreciate most about this book is the focus on your attitude and being grateful. Often times I find these books can be misleading and promise the miracle cure for all your problems. I did not so much get this vibe from the book. It seemed much more focused on changing your thoughts and focus. More encouraging you to look at the silver lining and the situation won’t seem so bad. Making everything a little bit better and more manageable bit by bit. I can totally get on board with this sort of thinking. There are some parts that I don’t necessarily agree with. Kind of along the same thinking as, “The Secret.” But I think there are some beneficial aspects you can take away from this book. It can provide you new ways to approach and look at issues that you may not have tried before. Making it a worthwhile attempt in my opinion.

Short paragraph makes each one feel like a power punch, which at some point is a good thing since some of the chapters steps on my toes. When he suggests I stand in front of a large mirror and just look at myself, I thought, “No way!” And like he mentions that is a hard exercise for most people. But the next chapters weren’t as harsh, I absolutely loved chapter 2, the science of the process. This is a game changer in your outlook in life. Most importantly this chapter discloses how changes can happen in your relationships.
