Want to find out more? Read this book, then. There have been quite a glut of new authors vying for attention. Many readers are, I feel, slowly distancing themselves from long running series from established authors, and try new and frankly, fresher and less washed out authors. I like that. Shows the genre is alive and kicking.

The gang gets together and goes to a dinner theater murder mystery where they all wonder how long it will take Heather to solve the mystery. Unbeknownst to them there will be a real murder for them to solve before the night is over. I enjoy reading this series of books where the characters feel like family to me. The author helps me to feel a connection to the family and the storyline. I look forward to reading a new book every week or so. Searching the parking lot area for a certain couples very expensive car, the Shepherds find the answer. The valet attendant is dead!!! Stabbed. There a lot of suspects to investigate. It will not be an easy task as the whole cast of the play are all actors or actress. This is an unique plot with many twists and twists to keep everyone on their toes. An enjoyable, interesting and entertaining read!!! This is book # 53 in the Donut Hole Cozy Mystery series. It can be read as a stand alone. I volunteered to read Wild Raspberry Murder. Thanks to the author for the opportunity. My opinion is my own.

Maybe it's just me I didn't care for this book as well as the others. I have enjoyed all 52 of the books very much. This one seemed a bit silly and annoying. I almost quit reading it. Wild Raspberry Murder is the 53rd installment in this series and is a quick, easy, fun, and clean read. Editing and proofing are still an issue with this series. At least until Vinny Unger, the valet parking attendant, wasn’t available to return their cars after the play ended. One couple was particularly upset, fearing the attendant had taken the man’s expensive car for a joy ride or to a chop shop, especially when they discovered his keys were missing. Ryan, Heather, the restaurant owner, and the irate couple set out to look for the car and they find it, along with the missing attendant’s body. I'm giving this book 5 starts because it was a great story. I mean I had no ides who the murderer was and they really did save the best for last. The only I didn't care for was the author letting us know they have a new editor and the mistakes would be fixed. I will say the editing was a lot better but we still had some errors. Not to many that I couldn't get through the book. Can't wait to read what else Susan Gillard has up her sleeve I'm giving this book 5 starts because it was a great story. When a night out ends in murder, the gang puts their considerable skills to work to solve yet another crime. Susan Gillard continues to provide a few hours of fun with her tales of murder in a small Texas town. The plot lines are consistently different as is the donut flavor of the week. All in all time well spent. I requested and received an Advance Reader Copy of this book. My review is voluntary and the opinions my own.

Heather is very busy making donuts to fill orders. One of the orders is for the Mystery Dinner Theater. Heather, Ryan and friends get together and go to the Mystery Theater to see the play. What they do not expect to find is the parking valet stabbed to death. What started as a fun evening turns into an investigation for Heather and Amy. Lots of suspects to question. Easy, enjoyable read and another yummy donut I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

A little on the crazy side This is a little different as the rest of the series. With the case involving some actors, Heather Amy and Ryan are hindered but eventually solve it. There is a short story offered at the end, but it did not go through, except for the last paragraph leaving me a bit confused

Heather, Ryan, Amy and Jamie set out to try another double date at a mystery dinner theater but when a body turns up the real mystery begins. The hunt begins to find the killer but are the actors telling the truth or just acting.

Donuts and mysteries How Aimee loves Heather's donuts and solving mysteries while eating said donuts in between. This series only gets better. Cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next. Donuts and mysteries How Aimee loves Heather's donuts and solving mysteries while eating said donuts in between. This series only gets better. Another good donut. I love the donut flavors that you come up with. Finally a story with very few errors. A first for you!!!!! I lived the storyline but I was able to figure out who did it half way through but not why. Loved the book.

I enjoyed this book more than the last few books. This mystery had an interesting backdrop of a murder mystery play being performed the same night. The characters were a little more eccentric than normal, but we can typically brush it off to them being actors and actresses, so they have the flair for the dramatics. We got to see Heather and Amy untangle the intricate relationship web between the victim and the cast of the play. I enjoyed the character of the Tracey Trigger, she attempts to work as an amateur sleuth but does more harm than good in the end. This almost plays on the idea that due to her not having any idea of police procedures she can contaminate the scene. This is also a little nod to the genre of cozy mysteries as the main characters typically don't follow the law. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and it's one of the better books in the series.
