    By and large a fairly inventive set of stories, ranging from the 1930's to the 1990's. Included are a complete series of 5 serio-comic tales from the early 1940's towards the latter half of this volume. Only two of the stories I felt were short of the mark. One had a cliched concluesion and another was written a bit too cute for its own good. You will enjoy most of these tales, as their premises and executions were well conceived. Most of the authors are lesser-known names today and it's to thei By and large a fairly inventive set of stories, ranging from the 1930's to the 1990's.
