This is a very important book because it addresses one of the worst epidemics today. It used to be that many people died because of hunger. Now many die from overeating and eating junk food. Sigalit Benbenishti's book will help prompt kids to eat proper foods. Both the books' message and the way it is presented is excellent. Hailey is a delightful, bright-eyed, smiling, young girl. But as nice as she is she is doing one thing that is terrible. She eats junk food, including fries and hamburgers. But as nice as she is she is doing one thing that is terrible. She eats junk food, including fries and hamburgers. While she had been thin, now her clothes no longer fit. She has gotten fat. Kids laugh at her because she is fat. She devlopes stomach pains after her hamburger at lunch. She asks her mom the help her lose weight. Her mom helps her, and she does lose weight. Her clothes now fit her again. Sigalit describes what she ate now. Meanwhile, her teacher at school tells the class that they will have a Healthy Food Competition, and parents can help. Hailey asks her mom for help. Children will want to hear what happens next. What was in Hailey’s sandwich? Did she win?

Hailey is a child who loves to eat lots of junk food. She loves to eat chocolate and candy. Her favorite food is hamburgers and French fries. Here in this book she learns to overcome eating junk food and start with veggies and healthy foods. She eats healthy foods and grows skinnier every day. This book teaches you how to eat more healthy foods and less unhealthy foods. This helps children identify and develop good habits and keep themselves healthy and fit.

Good. No problems with it. I agree with teaching children to eat healthy.  Full disclosure: I had a bowl of chocolate ice cream after reading this book. Yum!!!
