Notes: I like the series but the ending was not well set up and flimsy in comparison to the world/plot build.

Satisfying ending It takes a lot of time to weave 9 books together. If you are reading this review then I’m sure you read the previous 8 so I need not tell you anymore. If you just came across this book and are reading this review but have not read any from the series then I suggest you start from the beginning. You will not be disappointed. Happy reading.

Outstanding Series I cannot recommend The Ember Wars series more highly. I DO strongly recommend starting at the first book, as the series builds on previous events and character building. If you are a space opera fan like myself, this is a "must read" series. Outstanding Series I cannot recommend The Ember Wars series more highly. what a beautiful creation and it all came from Richard Fox’s imagination, he is truly a master. Also a perfect choice of getting Luck Daniels to narrate this series, he have done a perfect job which probably nobody else could have matched. I was lucky because unknowingly I’ve started listening to Tera Nova and for unknown reason while I was listening about 5 minutes into the audiobook I decided to read a few reviews and every one said to first listen to this series before moving on to Tera Nova what a beautiful creation and it all came from Richard Fox’s imagination, he is truly a master. Any way 9 audiobooks in 9 days that’s how good this series is, you just can’t put it down or stop. One thing that I must say, without Stendlish, Standrich or however you spell his name I can’t tell because I’ve not read the book I’ve listened to the audiobook so forgive me about this but without his character this series would have been as half as good, Richard the author knew exactly what he was doing! As I’ve said one of the best series I’ve ever listened to if not theeee best!!! Absolutely full heartedly recommended without a doubt to all !

Got to give this one just four stars unfortunately. Richard Fox is a very good writer, bringing his characters and the world they live in to life. Most of the books in The Ember War Saga series are fleshed out, full stories with many little sidebars on the various races, cultures, and minor characters that inhabit his universe. This book, the last in the series, just feels a little too rushed by comparison. The main plot is hurried and the final struggle (battle) is overly brief on descriptive n Got to give this one just four stars unfortunately. Great wrapup of a very enjoyable series I wasn’t sold on the series after the first book or two but it really grew on me. The characters, which seemed at first to be quite plain, turned out to be both deep and interesting. The author played the overall plot line well throughout the series.

9 books of fun This series got progressively better as the books went on. Nine fun and hectic stories of the rebirth of Earth. Summer beach reads at best, but we all know the summer beach read is the best kind of read.
Jim Kratzok –
A perfect ending This is how a mega-series should end. All the loose ends are tied up. Yet, there is plenty of room for more stories about individuals who are the main characters throughout the series. Should be interesting to see what happens next.

An epic end I loved these books all nine in this series. The characters were well written, the story was epic in proportion to the many species in this universe. I loved the humour, the honour and the battles. I look forward to more from this author 10/10

All nine books, Iron Dragoons made me read all nine books. The Ember War series was one book after another. I couldn't wait to read the next in the series. It started with Iron Dragoons. Good and evil get their due in the last chapter. Wonderful read. All nine books, Iron Dragoons made me read all nine books. The Ember War series was one book after another. A good series This is my second time reading this series. It is so interesting I wanted to read it straight through without having to wait for the next book to be released. It has great characters and an intriguing storyline with lots of action also.
Peter Rizzo –
A great wrap up of a long series. This tool all the disparate ends and threads of stories into a nice package. Anger, betrayal, revenge, all laid out and woven together in a good book concluding the series.
Mick Bird –
Great series of books This has been a great series of books to read. Recommended to anyone that is looking for for a interesting read.

Excellent military SF.
Joey Calvey –
Excellent An emotional ending to a truly awesome series, the final book in the Ember Wars series ties it together and sets up the next two series. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

What a way to close out the series. Luckily there's always more to do in this universe. The good stuff is all right here. What a way to close out the series. Luckily there's always more to do in this universe. The good stuff is all right here.

Just a really great read. Lots of action. Complex and well written. Sorry to see it end. I'm hoping exiled fleet series is the sequel. Just a really great read. Lots of action. Complex and well written. Sorry to see it end. I'm hoping exiled fleet series is the sequel.

Great way to end the series.

Fantastic Great end to the opening saga. Enjoyed them all and will re-read again and again. Easy to read with enough decent characters.

A fitting end to this series. Well written as usual, I rather enjoyed Malal's reward. I'm looking forward to the future adventures in this universe. On to read Iron Dragoons. Patkós Csaba –
An amazing end to great series narrated by superb actor. Good job everyone.
Matt Rizzo –
Pretty decent / cathartic conclusion to a pretty low quality series
