    I've read this book while working on my thesis. Before it I had practically zero background in Cisco devices and enterprise networks. It really helped me to quickly understand how to work with them, starting with the basics and building on them. It covers a number of topics and also provides numerous practical examples and exercises to work on. I also found it much more friendly and structured, especially for a beginner, who might get lost in all the different kinds of manuals and books for the C I've read this book while working on my thesis.
