That's it. No more for me. I read the first and enjoyed it. Fresh and interesting with all races and sexes being given equal brilliance in the world of spy vs spy kil kill. I read the first and enjoyed it. Fresh and interesting with all races and sexes being given equal brilliance in the world of spy vs spy kil kill. Then slowly something changed. I noticed this book had the same plot as the previous book. Our team, led by the emotional stunted but genius messiah Noah is followed up by his 1. Transportation specialist to drive him around and out race bad guys. She is also in love with our main dude and we are told about every sex chance, as well as shower chance they have. Ok. Whatever, she understands he can't love her and it's not allowed anyway. BUT. Somewhere along the way, she does love him, and he stills carries on in the sexual relationship knowing it is against the rules (rules are his structure for life as he sees himself as nonhuman). Ok. She seems ok with that so consenting adults yada yada. But what got me is he starts telling her to "grab me a donut/clothes-for-shower Sarah". Boy was that off putting. He doesn't ask, he doesn't thank her and he doesn't ask Neil or Moose, his male team mates to do this. And speaking of those, Neil is the opposite of Noah, he is an emotional teenager and cries a lot (normal as he sees some awful stuff). But why again is he a part of an assassination team when he loses his head when someone dies, gets taken, or is wounded? They trained for this, all of them. Neil pulls through but not without lots of hugs from Sarah and Moose (his adopted big sis and bro). Oh, and despite the no relationship rule, all 3 have blossoming romances. Smh. I guess the rules don't apply when you are a Vulcan. So I gave up. Mostly because of this. The book could have been a novella. It was stretched out by telling us the following: What time they woke up everyday. Where they ate for breakfast and most times what they had. What tech they were carrying. When they showered. When they had sex or made a phone call. Where they had lunch. Repeat. How long they rode in the car and what was on the radio. Where they ate dinner. Again, showers, phones, sex. All. The. Time. I think I lost count at how many fast food chains as well as hotel brands were mentioned. For the amount of food consumed (steak and 3 eggs over easy was a staple), and very little application of their rigorous parkour training, I don't see how they fit behind the wheel after 3 missions. I was disappointed. I wanted to see the team in tight spots and NOT having 25 navy seals and delta force as their out, but using their brains and training to escape. Nope. No running involved. Just making phone calls and the answer of "oh your so important to us that were sending 10 teams to assist yiu and you are the commander of them. Hell, even overseas, MI6 did this. This is lazy writing and not worth your time. The cat and mouse game was quickly turned into "lets just call up 100 cats..k?" And the last part...Noah was told to stand down. If he didnt, there would be consequences. (Death). He ignores his CO and does things his own way and gets an effing parade coming home. Wha??? Accountability anyone? I read ahead the 1st chapter of book four which was at the end of this one. I knew I made the right choice when it opened with sex, shower and get this...Noah is choosing Sarah's clothes. Low cut sexy clothes for THE OFFICE MEETING WITH THEIR BOSS. Why? Because he likes her to look that way and the other two males are easier to get along with when she dresses all sexed up. Yea. That's a big win for girls in position of power for ya. Pass it by. It is a great idea executed by a 14 yr old who just discovered girls have boobies. The females in this series had potential. Until they started being relegated to sexual objects by mysogonistic team leaders and peers. You can find a better book that treats females as equals. Being feminine and even sexy is awesome. As long aa you're not defined by it. And that's where this is going. However if you like to read about various food at fast food and chain restaurants, this book may serve as a good travel log. I know how far it is from the Holiday Inn Express to Bob Evans (1 mile) in Alexandria, and what the author considers a great meal. That's something I guess.

No more for me. Im done with the series. I sooo wanted to love this series, hence why I continued to read it after the 1st, then 2nd book to get to this one. The plot has such potential but it's getting flushed down the toilet because my non-emotional Vulcan of a main character is GETTING EMOTIONAL....over and over again! Like u said, in between showers and sex with Sarah, there's eating. Oh, and by the way, they're TRAINED ASSASSINS who occasionally have something interesting going on. Ugh. So No more for me. I can't stand constant sex scenes (albeit not descriptive or long ones) or down time discussing monotonous everyday activities in my action thriller books. More action! More ass kicking! More running, evading, shooting...just more action please! Logical, intense, thoughtful action. Guess it's back to my assassin-crush, Victor. 😍 He's gonna be a hard one to beat. No one's come close yet. #TomWood #LoveMeSomeVictor

The author has exceeded his last book on Noah Wolf greatly. It was interesting from the first page thru. The action never let you down. Great book would highly recommend it to anyone that likes to read a good thriller.

I have read some of the negative reviews and to be honest, personally , I like the way the stories are written. All my reviews are based on my own opinion and from the first in the series I disregarded the negatives and made my own mind up. This story sees the characters develop and gel together to form not only a family unit but a fighting unit, all of them. The action is there, the humor is there and yes , like James Bond, you expect them to succeed but there is still the unexpected. I enjoy these books but they could be a lot shorter if the author didn't describe every time they eat dinner and every other mundane thing they do. Good read but..... Excellent story. Other than the fact that this super secret organisation is known to everyone including janitors. Big downside is escalating price. I understand the reason and it is good business up to a point and then us folks on fixed incomes have to say, "no more." Can't afford over $20 a week for books that cost $0 to produce. Don't know if the reason is the author or Amazon. If it is Amazon then the author has to complain. If it is the author,,,,well he has no one to blame Good read but..... Excellent story. Nice and easy reading. And yes, it’s all a bit to clean and to perfect, but why does everything needs to be difficult? :) sometimes it’s nice to see a story just work out without to much strained complications just for the complications and allegedly making the story more exiting. These books are an enjoyable read like an episode of an action flick/series, and to me that is where the drive to like these series is coming from.

It was not as good as others. I have the other books one and two four and five, respectively.I really liked those, but this one could have been better. Yes, because the first two were so good, I am going into book four. The Mexican cartel part seemed over complicated, while the second part seemed to forget some of the second one at times. I made notes which I will out on Goodreads.

Still loving this series. There are so many inventive gadgets that are just fun to read about. The characters are solid and interesting and fill out more each book. I love that David Archer makes you think you are going one way and then quickly goes another. I don't like to discuss the plot lines in my reviews, you can get those in the book's description. Finishing off what he started Seems like loose ends are never good. And that's true in this story as well. Just as the preliminary mission is accomplished something else goes on and throws the whole Camelot team into a new and unexpected mission against an old rival. Twist and turns in the deadly chess game begin and we can't tell for sure, who's leading who. Finishing off what he started Seems like loose ends are never good. I am relatively new to David Archer books. Just finished the 3rd in this series (In Sheep’s Clothing). What amazes me is each of the 3 in this series are excellent. I highly recommend this series. For sure, when I finish this series I will read his other series as well. Truly one of the best “thriller” authors around and I’ve read virtually all of them.

Outstanding book of an awesome series! Noah Wolf and his team hit a home run in every way! Their interaction is believable and keeps the story moving. Action is abundant, and wonderfully written. I was hooked when I read the intro of the first Noah Wolf story.

Noah Wolf may well be my new favourite action hero. This story took one or two left turns (for me, for me the plotting in books 1 and 2 was stronger), but overall the author has a thoroughbred of a series.

Not believable. Way too many simple mistakes and oversights for a “master” killer and an elite hit squad. There is no way that the villain would get phone numbers from an encrypted cell phone, the FBI can’t even do that. The characters are simple with little depth.

Great Book! This is Archer's best book in the Noah Wolf series yet, but don't skip the first two. They're needed to get you to this point. I'm glad there are many more books in the series.
